Finally got a order to go through for the D20 on DHgate, Aliexpress wasn't allowing it. But now its been shipped, so can't wait to receive it!!

Now please tell me what i need to connect the solo to the d20? can i use the adapters that come with the D20 or do i need to purchase something else??

One other thing, if i have a Pinnacle water tool, can i also use that with the D20? not sure why i would but you know might make it better...somehow...hahaha

Hey guys just got the solo power adapter and was wondering if the lights (all lights from 1 to 7) stay on while plugged? They do turn off when I turn the unit on. Is this normal?

So after a day or so of testing out my new solo... Gotta say I'm not impressed. Tried 3 different stems. Bent one seems to be my favorite stem. Anyways, didn't get medicated till 3rd stem. Straight stem and eds TNT didn't really wowed me. Am I doing it wrong? I mean, I did my research before buying and this is suppose to be one of the best if not the best handheld under 200.

I grind my weed, suck it up thru the stem, heat unit to lvl 4, insert stem, wait a minute then slow hits. I get nice dark abv, just as dark as my DBV and MFLB. I dunno. I'm just not as impressed with the unit as I thought I would be.

Did you try higher temps and do you have dry herb? Do you have other vapes that you are comparing it to?

Is it one of the new open airflow ones? Maybe the air to vapor ratio is different and with low temps and high airflow + Ed's stem (which have notches iirc) it's not as high?

Did try higher temps. With Ed's TNT went up slowly to 7. At that point was too harsh. Most of my herb is dry, to the point where it crumbles when I try to break it up. Been a habit of drying out my weed since MFLB. The Vapir no2 was my daily for roughly 2 years. So I guess you can say I'm comparing it to that. But I do have a Da Buddha and a MFLB as well. And no, I don't smoke.

Got a newer one, M1E1. Not sure if that's the case or not. I'm not saying its broken or doesn't work, it just didn't wow me like the hype led me to believe. I was expecting the solo to be an upgrade to my no2, to which I say it performs about the same.

So does the Solo turn on automatically when you plug it in the power adapter? You just have to set the temp right? Anyone?

Hmm. Interesting. Both have a strong following but more people have Solos. M1E1... I have an old M1B1, one of the "old reliables" that lots seem to favor. Restricted draw esp. with the o-ring and stock stem but it chugs vapor, especially through glass. I don't have any experience with the no2 so I cannot compare. I'm interested to see if your experience improves with more time.

Yep, exactly like you said. When I plug it in to charge it turns in by itself. If I want to use it while charging I just set temp, and after 12 mins it auto offs by itself but continues to charge.

I sure hope it improves. Once tax money comes I'm planning to get fbomb and pvhe stems. Hopefully that makes a difference.

I have the older model Solo and I have the Vapir No2. When I bought the Solo, I didn't use the No2 hardly at all after that. The Solo got me more medicated. I may even sell my No2. It's nice to have if there is a 2 day power outage.

I will be getting my new model Solo next week. I hope I'm not disappointed when I compare the two.

Man I had mine for two years and used it day in and day out before i unfortunately lost it in a night of debauchery...I would recommend as a starter vape and as a daily driver!! I'm still fresh on the scene though when it comes to portables but ive had an overall good experience with the solo.

It's weird, I can't put down my M1C1 Solo that I think runs colder than other solos. I have always been a high temp vaporist, I always like a dark chocolate brown output to let me know I'm getting all the goods. At first this solo really frustated me. I can only get a light yellow tan color, even on temperature seven after vapor production stops. But if I plop it in my sublimator at its 'regular' high temperature, I get a very whispy bad tasting hit that has virtually no effect. In some ways, this has kind of pushed me to use temperatures lower than I normally would and possibly is cutting back on my intake of combustion byproducts. It's also helping me use a little less herb compared to my sublimator where a solo stem was just the first hit of a session, not an entire session. I have a new solo coming in that I'm hoping gets a little hotter than my current one that I'm going to try and send back to arizer for recalibration/replacement. I think that it could maybe take the seat as my daily driver over the Sublimator due to safety and the ability to just sit back and sip. It's nice sitting back with the girlfriend and puffing solos while watching tv, much less work than serving up sublimator hits. It's also less work than my mflb, which I gotta shake and brush compulsively while using.

Okay, so I purchased my Solo off of ebay. I feel like I should have consulted you guys first, but what's done is done. Can any of you experts tell me if this is a good deal. The person has a good ebay rating and seems pretty honest.

Okay, I figured out how to do it without giving away my ebay account to the world. Here is the listing I bought.

For those of you who've bought the Solo, do you recommend buying a case. I am not going to be traveling with it to my knowledge, but I do like the concept of an airtight seal to keep all odors inside the case. None of the cases I've seen has a spot for a grinder. Does anyone have any recommendations for a case?

When I spoke to the people who apparently manufacture or, at the very least, hold the license to produce the product/issue warranties, the person with whom I spoke said that the grinder they give out with the Solo is the one perfectly suited for producing the consistency one needs for the Solo. She didn't try to sell me the more expensive Zeus grinder or anything like that. Does anyone have an experience with that grinder as it applies to the Solo? I have my own grinder, but she was rather adamant that that grinder they were giving away for free was the way to go.

So, to summarize my questions:

1. Does it look like I made a good purchase on ebay?
2. Is the model I bought the most up-to-date?
3. Should I buy a case? If so, which ones? (Any shared experiences would be great)
4. What is the deal with this Zeus grinder they are giving away? I was suspicious when she didn't try to get me to buy the more expensive model?
5. What grinders to you Solo owners use to achieve the best consistency for it?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Have received my pass through power supply which does not charge simply allows you to use without using the battery.
is this correct. Am i simply bypassing the battery. If so that is great. Means the battery will last forver?

only if you don't use the battery. The power adapter will lessen your battery use therefore giving it a longer life.
