Arizer Solo

I go where the thrills are
Thinking about ordering the Solo tonight.
Something that just worried me though is I read some people not using the Solo compared to their desktop vapes when they're home (i'll be almost always using at home but I do want a portable). Is this because the Solo does not produce an as potent high?
Can the desktop vs portable be similar to a comparison to a bowl vs bong?

I've never vaped before and I have heard that it's a different high. I want to be a healthier user, I don't smoke cigarettes so why combust weed? But im worried now that I'll be disappointed.

The Solo is an awesome first vape. Easy to use, great hits, excellent results. You will *not* be disappointed.

Been running around doing errands and all that. Now it's time to finally break out the new toy.

On another note, that grinder was when I ordered my no2 from puffitup about 2 and a half years ago. I like it. :)

I have a Solo and really love it. I use it as a desk top vape, it works hard and produces good tasting vapor. It does a good job of medicating and is very dependable and doesnt burn through a lot of herb. The Solo is a very sturdy unit and reasonably priced. You can get one through Puffitup for $160, if they are still on sale.

It's one of the best portables out there in my opinion. A very good investment, I have an older model Solo. I don't have one of the newer models yet, you can check out some of the other portables, but you can't go wrong with the Solo.

Lookin' good my man

Hope you aren't sleeping on the @JyARz? Really durable outer shell, snug fit of the glass chamber, gaskets for shock protection and airtight. I put a nug in there at the beginning of the bag like I always do, when I finished the rest and opened up my jyar I had to leave it open for a while because the nug seemed just as moist as when I put it in.

That's an excellent price, I might have to pull the trigger. I went to their website, it looks like they may have something one day and sold out the next. They get products in large quantities and they sell them cheap then they are sold out. Great find.

Has anyone else ordered from this company, Vaporseller.com? It said the company is in the Southeast.

Poonman I like your setup, everything is so neat and organized. The Felix Unger of vaping, you may be too young to know who I mean.

SOLO Vaporized Cannabis is my Best Medicine
Just recieved my warranty replacement from ebay seller Myrubberneck. Seller recieved the unit on January 27th. Charged $15.00+ for priority shipping. Told it would be shipped the day after recieved, but was not shipped until a week later. Sent an email or two to move the process along. As an ebay seller myself, I would have done a better job packing; the unit was loose in the box with only packing peanuts around it. Arizer's original packing is much preferable.
Bottom line: the warranty was honored and replacement unit was recieved in a reasonable time without cross border concerns. Return process could be improved however.
Does present some additional questions though?
Does the original warranty still apply?
How would I get warranty replacement now without any new paperwork?

The new unit is an M1D2 and all the changes are readily apparent. The draw is better due to the larger holes in the heater chamber. The old standard bent stem, fits snug now and required heating up the unit before inserting. I found that the increased airflow radically cools the heater down: when set at level 6, it droped to 3 by the end of the hit. But this only seemed to occur when first turned on. After warmup, it only dropped one level.
Heats up much faster and this one does allow it to be run while the charger is plugged in. My original charger and PS2 Slim PA with the proper plug adapter both work with this new unit. I didn't like the paint as well, but that is to be expected as it is from a different batch. Nice for sure, no scratches or dings, no broken plastic on the base, like the old one. Do not like the way the cap fits though. Really crappy machine work or quality control. Cap goes on loose, doesn't even engage the threads till it's almost on. My guess is they don't even make the cap in the same place as the body. However the outside paint finish is silky smooth, even where the body and cap meet. Also on the new unit the snaps that help align the heating chamber all fit perfectly, unlike my old one that did not fit together properly at all.

I think I like the changes. Perhaps now that a stock stem works as intended, at the bottom of the heating chamber users won't be inadvertantly loosening up that factory retaining ring by rocking that stem back and forth. Only time will tell and if it does loosen up, there is always that #113 O ring to snug it up again. There are many times that abilty to use while charging is sure to please as it enables the Solo to be used ANYTIME, it already could be used just about anyplace. I'm so happy to have this little device back again. Hits like a champ and no robo fart smell after a full charge and burn-off round. And thanks to all the members for their advice, tutorials and entertainment. This place rocks!!

Monk Debate

The monks do be debatin’
Hey guys,

I apologize if this isn't the right place for this question, but I've been reading a lot of threads and haven't found the answer I'm looking for. I'm trying to find a perc that works really well with the Solo, preferably for $100 or less if possible. Does anyone have any recommendations, or could point me to a thread that does?

I currently have a Pinnacle Hydrotube, which is fine, but I was looking for something more substantial.

Thanks!

I was thinking about buying the new Solo. Has anyone ordered through Vaporstore.com other than DerekLM99? The price is excellent.

Thanks I didn't realize, stoner brain I guess.
How about Vaporseller.com. that's was where the Solo was 129.00, I see.

Edit: I'm worried that Vaporseller.com might not be legit. I would like a Solo at a bargain price, but don't want to take any chances. They don't give out their address, they just state Southeast U.S. I see that DerekLM99 went through them. I haven't seen the company name before, it's a company only a year old it said when I check reviews.
I may just go through Puffitup, i know they are legit. $160. That is still a good price.

Honestly $130 is not that unheard of; go check ebay. If it were 100 or something weird then I would suspect a scam but 130 is in line with the lower prices in the market. I highly recommend puffitup and they might even hook you up with an ebay price match if you ask them. When my solo had an issue their service was awesome, free shipping both ways and all.

After care is so important when buying a vaporizer. Good deal if they pay for shipping back if there are any problems. I'm going with Puffitup.

I ordered a few min ago decided to get the car charger as well as the Granadillo Eds Stem. I'm excited, love waiting for a new vape, It's Christmas! I paid extra for 2 day shipping.

I'm hoping vaporseller.com is legit. I talked to a representative on their live chat, which actually worked. I thought that was a good sign. They sent me a confirmation email with my receipt and when the product ships I'll be recieving a link to track the order.
So far so good.

How does Arizer handle their warranty? I asked the live chat rep and they said theyre an authorized dealer so I would think the warranty should hold up. Or else.:goon:

I have an M1B1 unit I am getting rid of.

Is the upgrade to a newer M1D1/M1E1 model worth it? Do they have problems?

I will still have the PA my first Solo came with to use with the new one too ;).
