I'm giving this feedback to the FC community.
I'm more worried about my people here than anybody.
I don't think MO now matters anymore there. I just want people here to make their choices based on others opinions.
Like we always say, "different strokes for different folks "
IMOs and posts I try to create, a "common Joe denominator" (cJd)... This means, standardize units to a cJd so anyone can use it, from rookies to connoisseurs, from there find all the cons... Cons are more important to the eye of the consumer, we complain how bad it works, not how well it performs.

It doesn't sound like you are doing much beta testing to me. This is a beta, not a review.

While I appreciate you looking out for us, the purpose of a beta is to give the manufacturer feedback so they can improve the product before release. You seem to be complaining about the unit and wanting to get your beta money back.

I guess I view this vape much differently than you. I have most of the other vapes you mentioned and I still see great potential for this vape.
You do understand this is not a final product, yet a beta test to determine faults and correct them? Maybe you should also copy and paste to the Versa forum so that we can improve the vape for the FC community?

I have decided that initially at least, I will post my impressions here first and then copy to the Versa forum also since conversations are progressing there as well. After I copied my initial post to the Versa forum last night, Versa emailed me personally to explain the logic behind what happens in "boost" mode. Personally, I really appreciate that. It illustrates to me a manufacturer who is truly interested in our experience as beta testers/initial adopters (let's not get in a semantics debate about what we are actually doing here) and, despite all the drama leading up to this, someone who is striving to stand behind the product and see it to full fruition. The open lines of conversation since the whole blow-up has made me feel much better about the money I invested and last night's maiden run, while revealing a bit of a learning curve, was successful for me to say the least.

I don't know if Versa is reading this thread, but since they are officially banned from here, I feel I should include my thoughts there as well in the interest of continuing those lines of conversation with the manufacturer. So until anything changes, I'm posting here first, there second.

Have them fixed their problematic units???
Heating problems IMO are kind of a design flaw. Log vapes dealt with it well.
Huge glass vape with huge powerful ceramic heater... I don't see any other solution than changing the whole vape.

What about medical or disabled people that don't have our dexterity or skills to swap heaters... Or any other case?? Maybe they are pissed of with me. But I'm a customer. I paid to "beta test". There's no legal obligation from me but from them. I didn't sign a shit to be beta tester. I paid for it :(
We need to be more careful not to misguide people. People trust our input. Bad or good...

We do not need a Versa company thread. If this thread wanders off topic, rest assured that there are moderators watching and ready to act.

Ok... Here's the deal, I live in the Portland, OR / Vancouver , WA area...
If someone living in a 30 minutes driving ratio, and is willing to help giving an opinion... Just PM and I'll arrange to visit you/or group of FCers and friends in your designated place, and we'll make a couple hours session worthy.

I do because Im one of them. Im still holding a MW that doesnt work and has all the same problems that this vape appears to have. Chris said he was going to send me one of these and I havent heard a peep out of him since sending him my address and thats cool, Im sure theyre trying to get as much shipped as possible.

As far as this being a "beta" unit, Im just not seeing a way with the current design this is going to be resolved. All of the problems are problems with the design and I went through ALL this with the MW and tried in vain to fix it. I ordered all kind of samples of industrial heat insulating material trying to make the unit handleable after its been on for a while and had no luck. I had completely forgotten about the scorching bowl issues until someone mentioned it in this thread.

Perhaps moving the heater into something that isnt glass would help with heat.. But the only solutions I can think of are not going to be cheap and probably outside the affordability of what a small business can afford. Redesigning the bowl may help with that side of things but basically this is a repackaged MW with all the same issues the MW had. I do see improvements so props for that but for the most part the glaring problems are still there.

Id love to hear any ideas others may have for improving this unit.. anyone got anything? This style vape may be best suited to be in a body for use with a whip, like someone mentioned above.

I will keep trying to find more pros, but I already give up. Redesign of the unit IMO is the only way as you stated.

I swear I have a 6th sense for all the blows & whistles they were showing.
And IMO I bite the bait very well.

Why they weren't transparent from the beggining??

Because, let me told you the future...
After everybody wait for 45 days PayPal dispute, they keep you in the loop as long as possible so the 45 day expires. Then they say that they don't refund MJ used products, what a joke
That's what going to happen guys.
I hope I'm wrong for all of us...

I think it's been Leiana the whole time, if I'm not mistaken Chris was meant to be in the shadows and they got busted for that because of his history. But technically idk if Leiana actually broke any rules here?

If they showed their faces or who they really were before, I'm pretty sure many "customers beta testers" wouldn't have even tried the product for a starter. IMO

@Zangano Cruel we get it, you don't like the unit. It's :horse:at this point. There are other vapes that have gone through growing pains as well and have had customers pissed at them. Some people felt like they were lied to by other companies as well. Everyone has a different experience with different things. It's unfortunate that you have had a shitty one with this product. :peace:

I'm inviting people to try this unit again, seems like there aren't any takers close to my area…
If it make it better, I'll bring all my vapes to make a side by side comparison…

I can provide to test : Solos...E-nano…Cloud +…EVO… and compare to my Infinity…
By the meantime I'll try not to keep burning myself and charring my herbs…
Need to test more the oil gizmo to see if I'm still wrong :)

It's really hard to explain in a video how hot it gets, and how cumbersome the unit is. If you're a chain vaper, like me, that I need several bowls to get there, IMO it gets really annoying to be thinking all the time how not to burn your fingers… or being worried that the bowl is getting stuck or other cons…

I could see the heat being an issue for chain vaporists. I'm fortunate enough to have a fairly low tolerance so the bowl heat issue isn't as big for me.
