I appreciate all the help I can get, but sadly before you even participated, this whole thing was feeling wrong because the first person to answer misread the question, and it wasn't my desire to get into drama.
Thanks for your help.
Actually, when you originally asked for the pages discussed, you quoted my entire post, so please forgive me for not realizing the focus of your mind, instantly, through the net. Demanding a thread summary of this type is not the usual here.

Please, go back to my original question, then tell me if your answer had any relationship to it.
I'm willing to just move on.

Please you and @t-dub move on. Im not even picking sides but just chill out. You both have somewhat rude replies to eachother; this is a chill website. Just chill seniors!

Plus you guys should mourn the death of my cloud.

Sorry about your loss.
There was good reason I wanted to know one way or another, because I bought more than one as a back up. I just wanted to make sure people are getting their money's worth.

Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to comfort Sandra Dee ;). We are all saddened by this monumental loss and pray that all other clouds sustain. Through this grief we can rejoice with the forgiving nature of our community! A hatchet being buried among two members, and two clouds along with it. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. "Amazing Grace"

Amen.

I think we can all move on now.

Almost there...
Didn't it happen to @lazylathe and a few others asking for team heaters email or RMA requests???

My unit was DOA on arrival, actually TWO of them were DOA on arrival!
I was sent a new bamboo and heater and installed it myself.
My ebay Cloud works like a champ and will be a good backup unit.

I have tried contacting Team Heater again to try and get a few spare bamboo+heaters but have not heard back so i think it is a lost cause...

canj00digit?

All my days in a daze...
I had one 220v unit fail and one (that I ordered for a mate) DOA.
The DOA took me about 40 days and a Paypal case to get a replacement which just arrived yesterday.

The first unit I bought for myself ran awesome but it died last week. I only got about 6 weeks of use out of it but I was running it at 2:30-3 nearly 24/7 thru a WeMo during that time. I won't be doing that again. :D
Took it apart, the usual suspect, both the wires to the heater just disconnected like someone had desoldered them.

The DOA unit for my mate took so long to replace that he didnt want it anymore thank goodness cause now I have a working Cloud again.. woot!

Thanks,
That's the kind of information I was looking for. Now my question to you is this: are you going to try to repair it?
I bought more than one for several reasons and one of those was to tinker with it, but seeing that at normal running conditions none have failed, then I'll wait until that happens to one of mine or I hear from somebody else before I attempt anything.

Guys, I haven't been in this thread for some time... Are those clouds still available? Any links? A friend would like one…

Thats a negative... no more on ebay. Some in this thread have a couple of his emails, you could give it a try. @lazylathe @canj00digit?

I sent him a few more emails asking to buy some spare bamboo and heater parts just in case.
I also offered to get some extras for others to fix their units.

So far no response and i sent e mails to all of the addresses i had.
Seems like he does not reply to any of the addresses i have or his ebay account.
I get the feeling that this is done and over with and whatever you bought, whether it works or not, you are alone with these cheap Clouds.

I will send out another batch of emails but i do not have too much hope anymore.
Think it was about two weeks ago i asked about buying some spares…

On another note, i finally brought my ebay Cloud out to test with the EVO's HT!!
HOLY CRAP!!! My cloud is seriously hot as it milks the tube with the greatest of ease after a 5 minute warm up at 2:30!! I get nice dark brown ABV.
The HT is so much better for me than the plain glass mouthpiece.

Been having the same experience here!! Whatever is in this thing heats up QUICK.

Oops, this thread fell out of my alerts after I asked my string of questions :/

Thanks for the info, I'll see if I can train some Elbs by bowing them out a bit.
I was a bit hesitant to do anything to em incase I made them looser.

I think before I go opening my floud to adjust the bamboo, I think I'll wait until I get my EVO and turbine hydratube.
If the turbine fits the floud, and my stock hydratube fits the EVO, I'll be happy enough :D

I managed to split the seal down the side of one of my Elbs :( (I tend to squeeze them slightly to get the spent load out) but it still works perfectly in the cloud, I've just gotta be careful not to go swinging it about while its not in the cloud :)

Just broke out the ebay Cloud+ for a session.
WOW!!!
This thing heats up like a beast and pumps out vapour like crazy!
Massive clouds and instantly medicated!

I love the consistency i can get out of this vape with dark brown ABV.
Works so well out of my cheap and cheerful bong!

Comparable to your experience with the EVO?

I think ive gotten lucky. Mine is still going strong as a daily driver... Side by side with an original cloud plus i cannot see any difference with one exception. On my buddies legit unit we usually run it at 12 oclock but on mine for the same heat (from what i can tell based on effect and cloud production) i have to set the dial around 2 oclock

I don't have a legit unit to compare it to, but I think mine runs a bit cool as well. I set it at about 12 and get reasonable vapor but not like some of the milk I've seen around the forum.

Yeah, i am assuming it is in the programming maybe? Not a problem but i wonder if it wouldnt get hot enough temps if i ever get concentrates.

I think so too. Probably a firmware thing. Idk. The dial goes up pretty high. Maybe 5 o'clock/5:30? But I wonder how the unit would handle the demand for such high temps.

This one time..... When i was super medicated...... I tricked myself and told myself i was going to quit. I shortly after cranked the cloud all the way up just to see what would happen... Would it combust my flower? Would it crap out on itself? None of the above....crazy big cloud and dark abv. On top of that, i left it at that temp until the timer ran out (70 minutes maybe). I went back in to take another shot and it was turned off. I was very sad but told myself "hey, now it will be easier to stop". Well, sometimes when were medicated we forget things...like the timed auto shutoff feature. Next night i thought to myself "lets just see if it will turn back on" and it did :) and i didnt quit.

Nobody likes a quitter anyway
