Here is my ABV from a session starting at 62 volts for 14 hits, using boost occasionally and stirring every other or every third hit and finishing off at 86 volts for 3 hits. Taste lasted through the first 7-8 hits and was neutral the next few and last 3 were not great. I think the ABV is quite even?

I think a nice addition would be some sort of silicone on the base where the infinity rests for soft contact, prevent chips or cracks, and this area does not get hot.

That's pretty dark abv @Kaptan! From what I'm reading the adjustment dial has a pretty small "sweet spot", kind of like the sub v1 apollo heating device. But there doesn't seem to be a lack of power that's for sure. I can't recall, has anybody reported combustion yet? If not it seems like only a matter of time.

I must say that I'm not sure if I would be participating in this if @vtac had issued his proclamation a day earlier. But join I did, and I am trying my best to stay positive about this product launch, or re-launch or whatever. I realize it's a beta, but at the same time we paid good money so different from alpha testing.

I'm still looking forward to the G1, we'll see if any adjustments have been made based on early infinity feedback. Hopefully it will be another step in the right direction.

@paytonpenn, I found those silicone finger cots on amazon as well, but they also have a less expensive option (made for hot glue users):

@grokit I don't think they are silicone they are resistant up too 1100f, I thought the temps for concentrates were 500+ at least at 700.

Edit:
Versa wanted me to inform you all that they have a video made by Leiana coming out to help people understand how to use the unit properly and not get burned.

Hola FC:

I asked for a refund after my disappointment with the unit performance... This is the answer back from Versa....
Buyers beware... Depends on Versa now, if not refunded, I'll continue with a PayPal dispute. If he don't agree on some kind of refund I'll let PayPal how Versa is conducting business...

"Its illegal for us to give refunds on something used for MMJ. Exchanges and repairs are all that we can do from now on. If you read the instructions and us the tongs properly you wouldnt burn yourself."

Can you believe this??? Am I wrong??
IMO they are full of BS...
PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY

There's even more... Here's another piece of an earlier mail... To laugh or cry???

"
Silicone tipped tongs were included to assist with taking bowls that may still be hot off of your pieces. It also helps when glass joints get stuck. Use these to save your fingers from any chance of burns! As a gift to the Beta Testers we included a Lavender Salve made by Leiana! Just in case you forget to use your tongs:p
(NOT FOR VAPING, Organic Virgin Coconut Oil and 100% Pure "

WTF ??? Seriously???

"If you read the instructions and us the tongs properly you wouldnt burn yourself."

Unbelievable. If it's illegal for a company to give refund on something used for MMJ, is it not illegal to sell something that is used for MMJ? And if they're concerned with mail issues, what in the hell happens with warranty repairs? Is it also illegal to warranty product used for MMJ? This makes no sense.

Also, these guys don't have a clue in how to service their customers. This is even MORE unfucking believable. You NEVER blame the customer for anything, even if they ARE at fault. WTF? He could have worded it such as, "We are very sorry that you hurt yourself using our product. We have included a set of tongs to help alleviate these issues. If after using the product as instructed, you still feel that our product could cause you harm, that is the LAST thing we want our customers to have to worry about or deal with and we will gladly offer you a refund.

Now granted, these are beta's, but you guys PAID for these betas and as such, you should be treated as paying customers.

I guess the reason shit like this pisses me off so is because I spent my whole life in the retail arena and if ANY of my salespeople responded to any customer like this, he/she would be fired on the spot.

If you read the instructions, you wouldn't have burned yourself ?!?!? FUCK YOU !!!

Argggg............:argh:

I think you could have gotten a refund up to the point where you used the thing, which is fair. They are overnighting a replacement for someone's DOA unit, so let's balance the good with the bad.

I believe the Versa product, in advertising terms, will be "preferred by those who like it best" and predisposition will factor highly in your enjoyment of it.

Mr. Gweilo, I'm looking at 6 day delivery and I'm in the US.

I feel I have been well taken care of having received a Versa where the heater broke free of the body from fedex gorillas. This was handle promptly and to my satisfaction. So I disagree with this band wagon of haters but have your opinion, no skin off of me. I don't see any of the haters quoting my posts. Anyway feel free to have your opinion, I am actually using this and liking it but my opinion will wait until I have time to prove this vape or shelf it for myself.

Zangano, I have to say i don't agree with you getting a refund. First of all, this is a beta launch, which means it is not a finished product and you are expected to provide feedback to make it better. Second, I don't know of any vape maker that can give a refund for mj vapes.
Wouldn't be easier to refund a beta tester than real customers later???

... band wagon of haters

Bandwagon of haters? While they have taken care of some customers to their satisfaction, that comment of "If you read the instructions, you wouldn't have burned yourself" is, in the world of customer service, lunacy. Hater? Not at all. Calling them out on stupidity?.............Yup.

You ever grab a hot TI bowl? Did I ever get instructions that I should not do this? My answers are yes and no.

Edit: ok, I don't like the word hater's either, I don't like the word hate. I am sorry for using that word and I will just say it as I see it instead. I think people are upset with Chris and would like to see him fail. I have faith in people and like to see the light see win over the dark side in people and would rather support this project with positivity to get a product I will enjoy and use. Again sorry for calling people hater's.

I guess all that has happened has really put a cloud over a start up company. Sucks but sounds like he gave you a straight answer.

Yes, I believe he will do a refund... But I think it's important before starting a business like that to have at least 200$ more than you need in your pocket...

Apology accepted, but let me make one thing VERY clear. Am I upset with how Chris decieved the FC community here when he first introduced his product? Yes I am. Am I upset with the way he handled Zangano? Yes I am. Would I like to see him fail? ABSOLUTELY NOT !!!

In actuality, my response to the most recent issue here is that hopefully, it could be a "learning" experience that Chris can use so that he will NOT fail.

I don't want to see anyone ultimately fail. I want to see people learn from their mistakes and not make the same mistakes twice, but rather, make new mistakes. That's how we learn. That's how we succeed.

So when he does dumb-ass shit like that email that was posted above, I'm gonna call him on it.

Who ever said the ' Gaunlet ' was finished ?

It's only finished when we're dead. ;)

IMO this company is repeating
Yes, couldn't agree more, it is very much about common sense

Every vape I have used has a learning curve. I have put over a g of oil in it and 3g of flower and I am finding better methods every session.
Good for you and good luck...
Why don't you come over and teach me how to use a vaporizer or a nail??
It's so complicated for me...
I hope you get it right and don't need a refund

Before the fanboy comments come let me inform you I have a three strikes and your out rule. I have $1200 in TET products and they F'ed up 3 times in a row with me, no more money from me and I really like their products. So far I have been treated right by Versa, FC has their issues but they are not mine, and I have read the history so I am not making an uninformed opinions.

I paid less then $200 to be apart of this beta test. I liked the listening to feedback, I liked an atmospheric that was about getting what we as vapers wanted in a desktop model. I feel the desk top world is a desert for us oil users and a full convection unit really peaked my interest . I am only a small amount into my testing. I have put ounces through nails and have yet to be done with them or the fine custom blowers I like.

Downside, all the glass I have puts my face up close to the heater.
