Well, finally got the chance to dig into my package and first disappointment right out of the box. I was sent one of the original see-through whitish units. I ordered a black unit. Don't like the looks or feel of it at all. It's like holding one of those frosted glass lamp covers.

I've sent an email. Real bummer.

TheDudeNextDoor,
Yep, you're both right. I just must missed that whole detail. I emailed Versa and got almost an instant reply saying just what you both say. Makes sense. The color doesn't bother me so much, although the black unit sure looked sweet (how can I say that without it sounding gay? I don't think it's possible), but I don't like the feel of the frosted glass in my hand. Minor issue, especially since I'm told I can trade out the body once that option becomes available.

You been hitting that thing Dude??

Can anyone tell us exactly what comes in the package? I thought glass stem was included but a whip was not.

About all these talks about the Versa getting very hot... Isn't that supposed to be an issue of the past, now with Alan's Heat Island technology that is employed in most recent log vapes (Hi, eNano etc..)? To my eyes this is a major flaw in the design of the Versa. I am not sure if it could be designed otherwise and still be one piece of glass but the way I see it is that that central glass core should not conduct much heat to the rest of the body...

I like the concept of the Versa's ceramic heater but I would prefer to see it employed in a log vape like the eNano, made of wood, so it never breaks and being able to be used as a nice hand warmer and not as a hand burner...

Not yet. Had very little time last night and will be home late tonight, so I will probably wait until Saturday. I want to be able to be slow and gentle the first time, so I am waiting for the right moment. After that initial session, I'll pound the hell out of it.

Prior to the banhammer Versa said the biggest issue with heat is extended use in the inverted position such as on an Hooka and that they were looking into some type of "thermosleeve" solution, but I think all that got lost after the :shit::shit::shit: hit the fan. I'm confident if heat is an issue some creative solution could be found like it has been addressed on other well known vapes like the evo.

One of my biggest questions with the frosted glass (I actually like this look better than the black) is how dirty will it get and how quickly? Will resin stains build up around the top near the heater where vapor trails will likely swirl and where there is any vapor recoil?

I will be testing out the hookah bowl today when the Versa arrives and report back on temps. If it is a problem I will just use silicon heat gloves and keep them handy for the bowl and Versa.

I remember one of the reasons they wanted to make them white and black was because the frosted would get dirty and of course it won't look so pretty dirty. Should be easy to clean, I will know this later when it arrives, I am very anal about clean glass.

Edit. Trying not to vape so I can hit the Versa straight but I may need a few dabs to handle the wait for FedEx. Lol

Unit arrived yesterday afternoon. Wrapped in thin bubble wrap, one layer only… Case, cheap hard plastic with mmmmm hinges, probably cost by bulk $2 or less, Walmart sells Plano for $12 and the quality is way better…
Vape arrived miraculously in one piece, as well as all adapters…
I was expecting more class, after seeing all those videos you expect a Ferrari and you get a Cinquecento jajajajja over marketing my friends, that's why i'm taking the bullet for you guys… i'm saying goodbye to $200

Clunky, really hot to touch, that burns if you're not cautious, I have a red mark :science: @PoopMachine
They give us those stupid tonsils, jajajajjajajaja the silicone of the EQ cyclone bowl gets grainy and sticky to contact to any surface because of overheating  mmmmbbuuuuuuaaaaa

Beginners and rookies aware…

I thought at certain point that they were going to be all glass screens, but I just dreamed about it…
BTW, the provided flower bowl, when trying to unplug the Infinity from it, gets stuck of course, but that's not the only con, when you are clearing your WT, it creates weird turbulence that spreads ABV dust almost to the top of the bowl and the outside of the Infinity glass heater core  anyone else happens this???

For concentrates, meeee, it's ok, it's just another failed attempt of a vape company to try to emulate a real nail or e-nail, or a Sublimator, CheeseBox, etc etc proven ones IMO, EVO does it ok too, easier than any vape I ever tried, with really good results, and you can chain them, if you have enough ELBs, but for the Infinity you'll need a glass blower supply of bowls, it gets stupid hot, stuck, when you try to dab again it melts into the frit and walls of the bowl???

Stay vaped…

need to go urgently, I'll fill in the blanks later...

Mine got stuck the first couple times but hadn't since. Haven't had the recoil issue you speak of either.

Excitement turned into disappointment as my Versa arrived with the joint that holds the heater in place shattered.

Edit: my email was responded to immediately and a phone call came in a few minutes later. A replacement is being overnight shipped so I should be in vapor tomorrow. Very happy with the quick response and resolution.

G1 update;
"We met with our manufacturer yesterday. We are talking with him about implementing a few small design changes including the added boost mode on the G1. We are looking at starting production next week and after it starts it only takes a day or two before we can pick up the bodies and start production in house.

I am very excited about that post.

@GR glad they are getting it resolved quickly for you.
