The Lotus Vaporizer

Just picked up the Black Leaf "Sunny Afternoon" Inline at PV for $71.98 (+ Shipping) with the FCLOVE10 code. LINK (lowest price I saw anywhere else was $95.00 at GC). Thinking this will be great for the Lotus.

Just got back from Colorado (very hard to leave ) and came home to a new Lotus so I have to say I am stoked (not a spell-check correction, although I am a little stoned also!)

Thanks again go out to everyone in the thread convincing me to pick this great vape up. Every time I hit it I keep thinking the flavor... the flavor! Will throw up a review with some video of the Black Leaf when it comes in.

Until then Lotus On.

Woaw ! I love the first picture. It looks like less massive than my big bottle. Is that a pre-cooler or something like that ?
ASH COLLECTOR

The LOTUS seems to work better for me with a J HOOK (SHERLOCK) configuration. The BLACK LEAF Bubbler looks like it would work as well. I needed the senses of my sight to make this work.

I think I got it now!

The J Hook seems elegant but I really need (and love) watercooling. With my configuration, I have a great sound, and I don't cough at all, even if I get huge clouds. But my bubbler is too big. Especially with the 14/18 adapter. I've to put my arm in front of my head with the torch. It's a big effort. Too big after a session or two :) I'm going to nose around in headshops for an ash collector.

Greetings folks,
I received my Lotus & wpa earlier this week. Does anyone have any experience using the Lotus with the Jet subZero? I'm still trying to get a consistent vape going and was wondering if the technique changes with a pipe such as this?

I'm also thinking of a torch upgrade. I have the basic torch from MT but want something with a bit higher quality for long term use. Anyone have a torch they particularly like with the Lotus?

PS: I'm hoping to get pics of the subZero + Lotus combo later. :)

For me water cooling (and i did it for a long time) meant bigger hits and that meant my tolerance got way higher and so did my herb consumption....

Now that I don't have lots of herbs, I go dry so I take smaller hits and get the same results... :)

I perfectly understand. It's my first "weeding's week" with my beloved blue cap, and I realize that, paired with the bubbler, it's could be very dangerous for our herbs stocks ;) I will be more reasonable, but next week...

The LOTUS is cool and has it's place.
The LSV is power however I only use it occasionally.
The VAPOLUTION is easy to use and the flavor is really good. (I use it DRY!)
The SOLO is super easy to use and learn. NANO is the best water pairing vaporizer so far. FLAVOR and EFFECT amazing.

The LOTUS is a cheap manual device and I learned how to use it and it works well. Not the "HOLY GRAIL" however I like it. The Smaller Water Path is good however DRY with a SHERLOCK (JHOOK) has been the best for me so far.

SHATTER is another medicine and I like a high powered fully automatic device for that.
Yeah, I had a LSV for 5 months last year and LOVED it but had to sell for financial reasons. I am currently trying to save up for either the e-nano or LSV, as I miss a heavy hitting desktop.

I just picked up my new natural lotus with the aluminum pipe and WPA earlier today. Was super excited to get it after hearing all of the praise and hype about it. After reading the great review at VRB I've already got it figured out and it has blown away every expectation and preconceived notion I have had about flame powered vaporizers.

Tonight it is going on my standard portable vape test, snowboarding. Instead of the usual offenders like the Solo or Indica, I am going to be taking the lotus and a fully loaded honest lighter up on the mountain tonight and see how I fair. Looking forward to seeing what it can do in the cold outdoors

I'm going to try a couple things tomorrow. Need to work on the favor part?

Nice set up. I am also using it with a honeycomb and jhook.

If you want ultimate flavor, vorrange said it best:
whole flowers -> whole flavours. :D

I usually get very little taste on my 2nd hit off ground bud. Maybe I'm getting the first hit a little too hot, IDK.

Any opinions on using hash in the lotus? I was thinking I could probably sandwich it between some bud.

Have you ever tried the lotus with a recycler? It is pure bliss achieving instant cloud bubbles that are constantly releasing their intoxicating nectar just before your lips and nose. The jhook is very nice but the recycler lotus combo is out of this world!!!

Truth is I haven't and probaby won't due to various reasons but that doesn't change that you can get much bigger hits with a recycler as well, right? That is the point I was making actually... :)
