Cheeba Chews?

Anyone heard or tried these? Their amazing. They come in india, sativa and hybrid, and pack 175 mg of thc in each candy, depending on what dose you get. Their typically all quad doses, which means you cut the tootsie roll piece size of chocolate into fourths. These are still strong doses, I picked up about 10 of these from a buddy over the summer. I live in a non-medical state though, so the two I have left are probably the last all see of these bad boys until legalization in my state.

The main point of this thread was to discuss how this company has made such an effective edible. They use hash oil in their candy, which is extracted without the use of butane as solvents. They have some secret way of producing standardized quality hash oil. Anyway, the best aspect of this candy is the reliability with the dosages and the fast onset. If I were to make my own edibles, it would be very very hard to standardize them in this way. The onset is about 45 minutes which is very very good for edibles, so if I had to re-dose I wouldn't be waiting another three hours, which can happen with firecrackers for me.

Here's the link to their site, have a look around: http://www.cheebachews.com/

Hope this is interesting to someone on here, I've been thinking of making some sort of homemade THC capsules as this seems to be the best way for me to consume at social gatherings as I need not re-dose, nor do I smell of smoke or vapor. I guess the main thing in my way is the fact that I don't have enough product to make enough concentrate to make such an edible/pill.

Anyway, thanks for reading! Just popped a fourth piece of one now, should allow me to get to bed early tonight. By the way I've only tried indica, and the effects that the indica ones give me are more uplifting than smoking sativa, so I'd love to see how big of a euphoric rush an indica chew would give me. It's going to be awkward when no ones heard of these and has no interest in this post. By the way these come from colorado, not california, their not available there yet. The company appears to be generally honest and their products are nut and gluten free to avoid allergic complications.

I've had them, they're great effectiveness wise both from the standardization and small size (a big brownie takes a lot longer to digest than a small candy, making it even more standardized, especially if you're on an empty stomach).

They advertise them a lot in the various MMJ magazines I read

My biggest gripe is...the candy itself.
Does anyone actually like tootsie rolls? They've always been the reject candy imo

I'd much rather eat some real chocolate (like bhang bars or hubby bars) than a tootsie roll :2c:

Ok sorry to bump a old thread but just had my first expierence with cheeba chews a few months back.

Never having an ediible that has done anything for me, i saw cheebs chews in a high times mag as the best so gave them a try.

Went with a quad dose hybrid, got two of them. I consider myself high tolerance, but reading reviews on them, i decided to try half at first, and after a period of nothing ate the other half. I really didnt have any effect at all. The next day i ate the other whole, before smoking for the day, and still hours later, nothing.

The taste wasnt bad at all, the candy was a better than a tootsie roll imo, they are softer and no waxy outside that tootsie rolls have.

Ive seen thye got the deca dose,(10x ) im willing to give it another chance with one of them.

Overall ive been disappointed with all edibles, never having any do anything for me.

Just tried my first cheeba chew today: A quad dose Indica. I have a fairly high tolerance and ate the whole thing on an empty stomach. Tasted pretty good. Started to feel very mild effects after about an hour which continued for about 3 hours. After all the rave reviews I've heard about cheeba chews, I have to say I was not very impressed. I really don't understand the caution about "not eating a whole one your first time." I found eating a whole chew to be equivalent to smoking a small bowl of mids.

I don't quite understand, since I usually am pretty sensitive to edibles. Perhaps I need to try the deca dose?

I really liked the Cheeba Chews. I bought a decadose in NorCal the night before I headed out of California. At the airport, after checking in, I decided to eat a whole decadose Cheeba Chew. I was around 30 minutes outside of my departure time, I boarded and sat down close to the one hour mark, I start feeling a buzz to come on. The airplane took off, I was getting pretty baked. All i could do was just press my face on the window and stare outside. Before I knew it, I was landing after a 5 hour flight. The buzz was completely gone when I walked out of the airplane. If where I live becomes medical, I'm definitely keeping those around or trying to imitate the recipe myself especially the hash oil

ludwig,
I've yet to try the Cheeba Chews but I'm going to a see AC in LA in about a month and was thinking about trying one for that.

Anybody know how they measure up to Bhang Bars (which are awesome and get me very medicated)?

I see the bhang bars advertise ~180mg of THC while the strongest cheeba chews (decadose) advertises 175mg of THC. So they should be pretty similar!

True, they should be, but I've been reading mixed reviews.

I also read that there didn't seem to be a difference between the sativa and indica ones. I'll probably just have to buy one and check it out.

For me, big difference between sativa and indica. I felt very racy with the sativa, and the indica hit hard like an indica should. I had the quad dose(275mg)green hornet gummis. So if your bhang bars are ~180mg the little green hornets are 100mg additional thc compared to them.
I wonder whether the "bad" reviews were double or triple strength bhang bars. I enjoy both products immensely. I have had many bhang bars, but just had my first cheeba green hornets recently. I wish both companies would use better, healthier ingredients though. Also bhang has a new(to me) 50-50 bar, with 50% cbds and 50% thc, got em, but haven't eaten em yet. Saving for a bad back day.

I got to try a piece of a triple strength Bhang chocolate bar today. It didn't knock me on my ass like it was being hyped but it did a good job at keeping me fairly medicated.

Makes me want to just pack my shit up and leave tomorrow...damn this mortgage.

I like the Sativa Cheeba Chew but I prefer Veda Chews (harder to find though), especially the Indica and CBD chews. I get a strong reaction with the Cheeba Sativa but not much from the Indica, that's where the Veda Chew really shines IMO.

How much do these cost in Colorado? I'll delete this next part if I'm not allowed to talk about it here, but I found some available online through the silk road 2.0, and they go for about $35 for one quad dose.

Great Scott!
$35 sounds seriously overpriced. Even if you divide that by the 4 doses it is supposed to contain, thats close to $10 per dose.

I can see clearly now the smoke is gone...

I just got some for 25$ in FL. They are (275mg)green hornet gummis. Same ones as Surfer.

And yeah I agree with @Silver420Surfer . The sativa definitely gives me a upbeat high. Almost edgy.

that's really high for a quad dose - SF Bay Area prices are around $10-12 for a quad dose and about $25 for the deca dose.

Yeah that's much higher than here. I saw them in cheapest outside of San Diego but at home farther down the coast they go up a little but not that high.

BTW I know you can e-mail cheba and they will send you al the distributors in your area then you can do price checks. You may have to go a bit farther but if the $ difference it big it might be worth it to go and stock up

Gotta remember most of those places are non-profit in a state that allows it, so not the same price when they travel outside of medi-states obviously. :2c:
