I can easily collect plenty more reclaim in that thumbnail! ;)

Very nice work sir! The glass air path has made a hell of a difference here. After just over a week of use, there is no way in hell I would go back to using a PonG.

@Engineering Well that looks like a very familiar design eh? ;)

Really good to see this at least starting to be worked on as an option. Along with others who voiced the same opinion tho - black as an option would be great. Also isnt the black plastic used on the PnP PonG rated at higher temps? If so, and the plastic and heat is the problem (and I dont see how anyone could say it isnt considering photo evidence that keeps being posted), wouldnt it be better to use the higher rated plastic as a PonG/GonG collar? It'd be a better safe guard against all this nonsense blowing up again.

A few questions... I'm wondering if the glass is flush with the top of the heat chamber? Is it drawing air only from straight thru the bullet, or from around the PonG collar also? How is the glass held in place in the collar, is it just wedged in? I guess Im asking how pedantic and accurate the 'all glass vapor' path statement is, where does that glass path actually start ;)

And getting a bit ahead of myself... Are you guys considering producing an 18mm version or any variants? Would that be just too big and unwieldy? :D

Anyway, this is really exciting to see. I was considering getting a new glass piece made for my DIY version of this (and was going to talk over an 18mm option with the glassblower), but if you guys can produce a truly satisying GonG, I'll give you my money instead :D

Emmdeemo: I meant to give you credit for the inspiration in my original post. Thanks for the feedback!

To your questions: We felt that the clear made the most sense, since the glass is clear it matches well. It's possible based on popularity that we will run more with the darker PONG.

The glass will be flush with the top of the heat chamber. The plastic will still make the airtight seal around the heating chamber so that you draw air through the unit as opposed to around the PONG collar as you call it. However, it is not functionally part of the air path - so I can feel good saying that it is in fact an all glass air path beyond the heating chamber.

The glass piece is a snug fit in the PONG, this will allow for removal for cleaning, however air will not flow around the glass-plastic interface.

Ask and you shall receive. VaporBlunt is an awesome company that sells quality products. Pnp just needed to get a few kinks worked out, since its only been out since Sept. I am really looking forward to this new gong that they will be selling soon.

Thanks VB for showing us the glass piece, hopefully this will soothe the masses. VB has been listening to all of your problems with the mouthpiece.

They are really busy right now, they will be launching The Baker soon. Sounds like its going to be another winner. The cost will only be $239. Reasonable price for a plug-in. Good luck with the launch VB.

Do you guys with the modded glass mouthpieces feels that it cools the vapor down a lot more? If there is a noticeable difference this might convince me to buy another one of these units!
Yeah just putting that tiny glass tube in between the pong and my face surprisingly made the vapor like 2x easier on the throat- no more heat buildup in your sensitive airways :D
Just make sure you do it with hi-temp Silicon (silicone?) I actually used the little cap between the coil/wick and drip tip of an Ego clearomizer, fit PERFECTLY snug once I turned it inside out and snugged it over my glass tube

UnderMist

Technically its vapor but UnderVape sounded weird

Would current owners be able to get this mouth peice as part of the warranty?

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated. This sounds great, and the PnP having another selling point, an all glass vapor path, cant be bad either :) Very exciting.

Prepare all PnP's for reclaim upgrade! :D

I am not very handy when it comes to MacGyvoring things. With my limited skills, the pong that I adapted with glass from my Ascent cools the vapor so much I went from using on heat level 1 to heat level 3 with my adapted pong. The glass piece is 2 1/2 inches, a little on the long size. I just wanted to work with glass I already had on hand.

OH GOD YES! The taste is better over here too, and the glass cools a lot quicker (but I dont know how much of that is down to my glass piece not being 'fixed' into the PonG collar atm).

EDIT: Since fitting the glass, if my lungs are feeling in the mood, you'll find me straight on level 5 with a bullet ;)

NICE!!!! I vote that emmdeemo gets the first all glass adapter that is officially made by pinnacle. Not only did he spark the idea but it also has me interested in the PNP again and will more than likely be my next purchase while I wait for the baker.

Great job brother!

:D Thats a lovely sentiment, however, I DONT WANT THE BLAME IF YOU STILL DONT LIKE THE PNP! :D

Are the glass pieces with the adapters uncomforable to use as is? Or would it be wise to use something with it. I ordered the water tool, so when we get the new mouth pieces I wanna know how to use it best.

Not finding anything uncomfortable here, with or without the WT (which is great btw, PnP works great with my bong too), wouldnt wanna hit my teeth on the GonG tho if using it as a mouthpiece :)

Do you guys expect your PnP's to last 2-3+ years? I'd really like one but reading about so many issues with a limited warranty makes me worried to spend so much for something that might crap out after 13 months. I'm not huge about the PAX and I've used it, but the 10 year warranty is what entices me about it

3 years? I seriously doubt it, If you would be happy with your purchase if you had to replace 1 mouthpiece and the battery was shot in a year with no replacement options offered by the company then your expectations would be meet and or hopefully exceeded.

Mine was an OG but my buddies pro is looking to be the same animal with the same problems. with the new awesome looking glass pong you could hopefully eliminate the M.P. issue.

That just leaves what you will do if/when the battery fails. One of the guys here in the pro thread successfully changed out a battery despite being told by VB that they would lose calibration if disconnected from the battery. AFAIk it hasn't been done on an O.G.PN yet. Hopefully VB will step in and provide an option for people with perfectly good units with bad batteries. I am sure given enough time the demand for a solution will grow and it will come from the community. From the way I was treated when I had my issues and how hard it was to get any response I would expect the community to come through first.

Do I think its worth buying still? I really enjoyed the thing when it was working so yes.
Am I going to replace it and continue to every year? I am on the fence but I think I might replace it this time and see if something better comes out in the next year. maybe by then the battery replacement issues will be resolved and I will have 2. Even with all the problems I have had I still like it better than my buddies PAX and don't think there is a portable out there I like better than the PN or PN pro.

Well done EmmDeemo! Cheers for all your help with my questions too man!

Holy Jesus on a stick! I fall asleep and wake up to the manufacturer of the item providing us a glass on glass solution. Kudos to you TVB @Engineering @TherealVaporblunt , it may not have been instantly perfect but provide us with a replacement battery we can order online and you will have the ONLY vaporizer I need! I don't want my PNP to be a throwaway once the battery dies, nor do I want to send it all the way to the other side of the world for a battery to be replaced!

My custom GonG just got shipped today, I will report back with details once it arrives on my side of the world. I really hope TVB can hook up all of us with melted/cracked pongs with one of these new GonGs. I bought my PNP a week and a half ago and am already on my second PonG, which is already starting to deteriorate.

So excited to have better, less harsh vapor without using the water tool (which is AMAZING!!!!!!!!)

I can't believe how great this message board is! I never would have thought that buying such an item would bring such support from not only the manufacturer but such a clued-up and health conscious community too! I thought we'd have the traditional head shop warranty which lasts either 10 minutes after purchase or 10 steps out the door of the shop, whichever comes sooner!
