My patience is wearing very thin.

I emailed them today inquiring about shipping and got a prompt response 20 minutes later. This was their response:

"We will share via email but when our betas are out we are going to focus on the website infrastructure. You can communicate with us there. Our forum will be a mini FC for people who love or own our products. Its important to have open communication so we will copy our posts from FC over to our private site."

I am right there with you... Im trying to stick things out but its getting hard with no tracking still.

I ordered the G1 on feb 6th and saw the ban and emailed them for a refund which they said would happen.. I really wanted to try this unit out also even though i only have 3 vapes and alot dont think newbies should be beta testers...I wanted to give a newbie opinion..after all i was paying about 200 for the unit..not like it was free...anyway i dont need the drama so asked for a refund and also started a paypal inquiry and got my refund yesterday..seemed pretty quick to me. I also saw NO activity on their website..thought would be alot of people going there looking for info..guess not lol...still on the look out for a affordable satisfying vape!!!:D
 
I emailed them with a deadline of mid-day tomorrow for either shipping notification or refund. As of noon tomorrow, my time this time, I am going the Paypal dispute route. My patience and willingness to extend benefit of the doubt is not only wearing thin -- it's pretty much gone at this point. After all that has transpired, there is no wiggle room for yet more delays and debacles. What a clusterfuck this has been.

Just got another email update from Versa....

We are still preparing items to go out. Some needed to be built. We can ship until 9PM at the fedex office. Some people are scaring themselves into thinking you wont get units. These infinity units are all hand made. I said it would all would be out by Wednesday and most US orders would be done by Monday.

Got a response. Apparently we are all "scaring ourselves" into thinking we won't be getting our product. Never mind that the story keeps changing because now it's "I said by Wednesday." No, you said Saturday or Monday by 5:00. Unreal.

My response to them: That's inaccurate. You (or whoever emailed me last) told me personally it would be either Saturday or Monday. And I am not scaring myself, my friend. That's all on you. Shipping notification today for me, and I will hold steady. I'm not waiting until Wednesday. If you cannot get it out to me today, with shipping notification, then I expect a refund. I've waited long enough, and I resent the implication that I am now being unreasonable and/or impatient. I was charged $190 exactly one month and nine days ago, and it was supposed to be just a short wait from there. Since then, it seems that it's been nothing but half-truths at best, outright lies and misrepresentation at worst. I think it is unreasonable that you would expect anything but guarded suspicion from anybody at this point.
 
I sent them an email this morning and received the same generic response. Not good enough Versa.
Also, how many units are they shipping? I would imagine not many.

EDIT: Here is my latest communication with Versa.

Me: Can you offer anything more specific than a generic mass response? Seriously I am sticking with you bastards and that's your best effort?! Come on give me something to help me continue my support.

As I was one of the people left holding the bag with Hipi on the MW, I was asked to email him. I did, no response. Im not really concerned one way or the other whether or not I get a reply. The MW was pretty much unusable.. burned a hole completely through a heavy duty pot holder when I was looking for something to set it on when it wasnt in use and I burned my fingers more than once because you only had about 1/2 inch of glass you could use that wasnt blazing hot.

Hipi was supposed to send me a new control box and a new glass cover as well as an attachment to blow bags. None of it ever showed. He didnt even send my glass with screens. I had to make my own. He did eventually send some but they didnt come with the unit.

Best of luck to you guys.. maybe Hipi has got his act together.

Funny how back before the shit hit the fan, some were bitching about too many updates, telling Leiana to "work on product not updates". Now this guy/these people are up against the wall to get out product, and people want custom tailored updates. If you're in, give it a break already. The email I got said they'd be shipping "this week", nothing about monday/wednesday, fwiw.

If you can't stand the heat, get outta the kitchen.

Agreed about the paypal dispute timeline for those doing disputes.

The email I got said they would ship Saturday or Monday, not "this week." Sounds like we may be in different kitchens, dude. And "this guy/these people" are up against the wall because of their own actions. I was more than happy to be patient while everything seemed on the up and up. Now that it's been made clear that Versa intentionally misled everyone, I think it's unreasonable of you or them to expect that we should continue to be patient for the duration. My 45 days to file a claim expires in about a week, so yeah, I want something actually solid to believe in; otherwise, how on earth am I to know that what I am being told now is the truth when so many lies have been revealed?

You are free to stand the heat all you want, brother, but the heat goes both ways when business is conducted the way it's been conducted here.

One thing to be wary of, and maybe I shouldn't post this, shippers just need to create a shipping invoice with a carrier and said item will be marked as shipped, even if the shipper hasn't boxed up the item yet.

I've had that happen to me and the product wasn't sent out for reals for a good week.

Yea.. I had this happen to me buying glass from China... and then other members here defended the practice.

I'm not sure what nerve I hit with you, but I'll try to clarify a few things for you.

1. Yes, it is precisely some secret shipper's information. I've already been notified by the secret shippers guild that I've had my membership revoked because I gave away a trade secret here. My posting this secret was entirely to make myself look cool to everyone here and had nothing to do with the idea of shipping notices being sent out to circumvent the 45 day dispute rule on Paypal.

2. As for the next paragraph, I'm not sure you were aiming that at me, though I am sure you will deny that being the case. Oh yes, just an FYI, I am not one of their 'beta testers'.

3. I can take the heat just fine, thank you. I just don't know why the heat is directed at me. I am one of the Grasshopper 'investors', and I've spent exactly zero seconds complaining, worrying or partaking in the general hand wringing that's been going on in either this thread or the Grasshopper thread.

When I do something that involves a high degree of risk, I'm never surprised when burnt.

You though, you are coming across as someone who is very frustrated and needs to vent that out.

One other thing, are you really unable to show empathy towards those that feel like they were lied to?

If you can't tell the difference between the circumstances surrounding the before and after Versa was exposed as liars with a bad track record incident, well, I don't know what to say. It would seem unnecessary for me to explain this to you, but I will do so anyways.

Some people might feel like their trust and enthusiasm have been betrayed, and have become nervous about their money being stolen from them. Why does this bother you?

What place is it for you to judge how other people feel about this?
