I will definitely be sending my OG cloud in for a EVO. It is acting weird when upside down and sometimes takes way too long to heat the ELB up for huge hits.

I responded that I have no fear because this is a project of passion for me and I know that businesses/people who can throw a ton of money into a project but if they lack the passion, ultimately will not be able to create innovative products.
This is absolutely spot on and I love to see the fellowship developing with the Herbalizer crowd here . . . :)

@stonemonkey55 and @Troi ... Bummer. History repeat itself, sometimes parabolically! Last year's CC wasn't kosher either. HT promotes it like a circus, not a marketplace, which isn't conducive to business. At any rate, red headed marketing people have a reputation as killers. Gia will help you navigate the clowns.

Found some décor for my EVO.. from the local wine store.
The Wine Glass pens not only work on wine glasses, but also for making dots on the dial, and I use them to label my Jyarz. Washes off with soap&water.

I have a pile of four (4) VXL wristbands I am willing to pass along. The first four people (USA or Canada only) to PM me with their address, WHO DID NOT GET ANY when they got their IGG EVO, will have a wristband mailed by me.

Note: Not only does EVO look Rasta-good, in a rainbow-y way, but the VXL band gives me a tactile place of "go no higher", with the awesome visual of cool colors below, warm to HOT colors above. I usually hold the EVO with my thumb between the dial and the switch, but this wrap helps Hubby to quickly aim for a good hanging on spot.

Josh from Herbalizer also came by and we had a great time discussing how our two vapes are going to change the market place. I am pleased to say that although we experienced a bunch of negatives at this event, Josh and I have started the conversation of how we can elevate the social status of this industry.
That is very cool to hear - I have both an EVO and Herbalizer - I love both of them equally

Hey guys,

Just received my EVO a couple of days ago....WOW! Such an amazing vaping experience. I had a concern however - it seems every few times I turn it on, the light goes red for a bit and then starts flashing slowly red without heating up. It seems if I switch it off and back on, it eventually heats up normally (great temp control - no concern there!).

Has anybody else been experiencing this? Is this a common occurence or does my EVO need repair?

Not 100%, but I think that's the Cloud not heating up too quickly, in order to avoid cracking the glass from thermal expansion? Was your Cloud cooler then normal when you plugged it in?

The only time I've had this happen, is when my Cloud was first delivered. It had been outside and was very cold. Hasn't happened since then since it's been room temp ever since.

Once again, could be off on that, but want to say I remember someone stating that was the purpose.

I out my EVO in front of my heater on the floor for a bit before I turned it on. Just so it was up to at least room temp.

Can you confirm that's what the flashing red light means though (protecting the bamboo from cracking due to thermal expansion)? Just trying to convince myself I didn't imagine that and pull it out of my ass!

Sounds like it. Just warm it up a little and try again. If it doesN't work then then look into a support ticket.

The evo also flashes red before it times out, by design.

Mine flashes green/red when it's timing out. The other poster was talking about flashing just red when the unit is first turned on.

@Roth got it right. The unit has an auto shut off it senses the heater getting too hot. Sometime upon initial turn on, the PCB gets tricked into thinking the heater is too hot and just shuts itself off. Typically a quick cycle of on and off allows it to reset and all is back to normal. There shouldn't be any issue other than a minor annoyance every once in a while but the flip side is that the likelihood of your unit overheating is next to nil.

Almost there...
:( I have to send my EVO back for calibration...
It runs very cool and only gives light golden ABV even at max after an hour heat soak.

@stonemonkey55 has been very helpful with trying to figure out what was going on.
Support ticket opened and waiting for a reply.

It is going to be interesting to find out how much it is going to cost to ship it back to the States for the repair or replacement unit. Hopefully there will be no additional costs involved since it is an RMA return.

Going to have to break out the ebay Cloud+ for a while as back up!
Thank goodness for VAS or else i would be SOL!!

This happened to me when I first unboxed my Evo. It was very cold and apparently needed to warm up a little before use. After 10 or 15 minutes inside it worked without a hitch and I haven't had the problem since.

I typically stay dormant on the forums, however I had an experience a few nights ago that's definitely worth a share:

Around 10pm, I was closing up my electronics repair store in OKC when I got a strange text message from a PA number. At QuickFix (my store), we do a great deal of out-of-state business.. so I reply.

Turns out that that Phil, Ben, & Bryan from the VapeXhale team were on their way to the LA Cannabis Cup from Philly, and just so happened to stop over in Oklahoma City en route to LA. The guys were simply looking for something to do for the night while they were in my city, and decided to hit me up for a local's recommendation.

I invited them out to The Other Room, one of my favorite spots to grab a drink in The Paseo, one of OKC's hip art districts. We finally met up, introduced ourselves, and conversed over some craft brews.

It didn't take long to befriend these blokes, they are truly some of the most genuinely friendly people I've had an opportunity to meet. OKC is known as "The Big Friendly," and they were definitely giving off some "Brotherly Love."

You can definitely tell how passionate and enthusiastic these guys are about the Cloud. As a business owner and entrepreneur, I could definitely tell that I was in the hand of professionals. The team is all about continous improvement, these guys are very sharp & on-point.

After a few beers, with the exception of Ben who was bequeathed the title of D.D, I invited the guys back to my home. They were so eager to see a Cloud "in the wild."

For someone who has watched the Cloud go from fantasy to fruition over the past 4 years, having the guys who built a product that I use on a daily basis sitting in my office was indeed something special. Watching these guys marvel at how I use my Evo, gathering feedback, giving tips, was all a testament to this company's culture. I've worked with a lot of start-ups, but these guys are unique. They all have college degrees in their hands, yet they are pursuing their passions to make an revolutionary vaporizer, this troupe is highly skilled & talented.

I absolutely love my Cloud, and the three months that I was without it was rough. Anyone reading this knows it's difficult to use anything else, because this is HANDS DOWN, the best vaporizer the world has ever seen. After spending an evening with these guys, it's very evident how intimate the relationship is with the product and the very real people behind it. These guys have so much potential, I am stoked to follow them through every other iteration of the Cloud and any other products they might conjure up.

The guys were nice enough to reward me with a Swagger HydraBarrel (pictured below with my HydraLine). Another reason to love my Cloud, and the people who made it a reality.

I've always been a VapeXhale fanboy, and stand firm that there is nothing that comes close. This experience I had with the team made it quite tangible as to why.

Without a doubt, I'm proud to have a Cloud. Keep up the amazing work :)

I really wish I was there to meet you in person but the rest of the team is a lot more fun than myself so you got to experience the better side of our team. The boys told me how cool you were and all the stories you shared while getting drinks. If I ever make it out to OKC, I'll be sure to reach out!

My soon to be in-laws are smitten with their new EVO to say the least! Had introduced them to my + about 2 weeks ago, and they instantly placed an order for an EVO. Yesterday was our vape play date and un-boxing. I had ordered them a 15' and a 6' flat power cord for multiple rooms because they like to move around. Thank you to whoever posted up the links on both of those, they are great additions. After explaining the ability to load your ELBS for future use (which as older medical patients is huge), glass water level, and how the device works we got into a session:

Her father loves the ability to get his low-temp taste/active buzz going, and she loves to turn it up to 3 and get cloudy. Her father has chronic cluster headaches, and has been combusting for god knows how long, and I am interested to see if his clusters are reduced due to moving toward vaping. He took a nice long hit at 12 PM and got nice blue vapor! He was astounded by the taste and sat back to wait for the buzz to kick in. After about 5 minutes he started elaborating on how he was feeling and said multiple times how nice of a head buzz it was. So clear headed.

Her mother then blasts it up to 3, waits for the light, and gets a nice thick hit. Not white walled but nice and thick. I think we would need to let it soak for another 5 min after the light turns green to milk it up..
She exhales a nice fatty plume and mentions how she has no need to cough.

It was then they decided to place another order for an EVO at the beach house.

Anyway, they are in love, at every angle. I called to check up on them this morning to see if it worked how they wanted it to last night, and the first thing she says when she answers the phone is: "LOOOOOVE IT!"

I cant wait to place my order once I stack a little cash. Thanks again VXL and @@stonemonkey55 for helping us with the ordering issues! You've gained 2 new lifetime customers!

Wow! Thank you so much for that post. Not only is it epic, but it is so cool to see the EVO being enjoyed across generations! Welcome to the EVO family. As they would say "looooooove it!!!!"

Sorry if this was brought up recently, but I can't seem to find the latest mention of it. Where are we at with concentrate bowls?

I only seem so urgent about it because I'm selling a bit of glass to my friend locally for some cash, so I'd really like to just get away from the torch and nail and handle things electronically lol.

Haven't posted or read in here in a while. Its a sign that everything is working 100% as expected still. No weird issues since the first day, and I bet the power cord was seated poorly. No biggie!

Now I just need to be able to use oil in the thing.

Testing the latest model later today! Videos to come if it works well.

It is not the first time the US government has inflitrated a movement and destroyed it from within. Just something to think about...

I encourage Vapexhale and other like-minded companies to steer away from bad company and if that means no more CCs, then it is time to make your own events and invite the ones who you think should be in it.
It doesn't have to be a cup, just a gathering of the "pure hearts" in the whole industry.

One other question, any news on the ETA of 220V-240V EVOs? :D

He hasn't. I looked at his YouTube review comments and he seems to have no interest in doing the $250 upgrade.

I mean, he gets an EVO for $250. That be like Microsoft giving you a discounted Xbox One for having a red ringed 360. He doesn't ever mention the difficulties VapeXhale has faced or how they are still trying to figure out this shitty situation.

The biggest problem with it is his website and reviews receive a fair amount of traffic. It's just unfair how he rips on them and seems to provoke others to do the same.

Maybe you guys can post some rebuttals in that thread? While I can understand some of his frustration, ultimately, we try to work with everyone as much as we can.

Now that I have had a full night's rest (Troi never sleeps) and some time to gather my thoughts, my impressions and opinions are still the same. While I do have a bitter taste in my mouth, High Times will neither make or break us. Based on audience feedback, I believe that VapeXhale had the Best Product and we also stood out the most during the entrepreneurship panel. One of the audience members asked me if I fear legalization as it may impact our business when big money jumps into this industry. I responded that I have no fear because this is a project of passion for me and I know that businesses/people who can throw a ton of money into a project but if they lack the passion, ultimately will not be able to create innovative products.

The High Times staff was very happy with that answer and encouraged the audience to continue to applaud my answer. I was feeling very good about how the panel went until I got a text from @Troi telling me the power had been down the entire time I was speaking. I don't mind losing to a worthy adversary but to lose to two e-cigarrette companies and a company that produced silicon pads definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. Especially after the HT staff was encouraging innovation.

Regardless if we won or not, I don't believe that we will continue to do Cannabis Cups outside of the next two (which they will be comping us on) because I am losing faith in what they are doing. The first show we went to in Sept 2012 seemed to have a much more professional atmosphere where we could actually talk and educate attendees. Now it has devolved further where every booth is blasting their music as loud as possible and all you see is scantily clad women trying to get people to come to their booth. Lack of respect from the other booths was at an all time high and the HT staff did very little to make sure that everyone had a fair and equitable shake at this event.

While I can go on and on (and on and on and on) about the ineptitude of the staff working the event, that does VapeXhale no good. All I can say is that our team executed beautifully and masterfully and I am very pleased by the amount of people that came to our booth and told us that we were doing it "right". The majority of the booths looked like they wanted to be more rock star than produce innovative products and the attendees really appreciated seeing something that was NOT a nail or ecig pen. For that, we can still hold our head up high.

We sunk a huge amount of our marketing budget into this and it has put us in a strange position as a Best Product win would have been the best way to introduce the EVO to the world but as always, we have a contingency plan. We finally hired Gia full time, the girl in our original VapeXhale videos. She is going to be heading our marketing and just like we took manufacturing in house, we don't want to depend on others to help us get visibility.

Now the good stuff. I got to hang out with @Stu for the whole weekend. Previously, we got to hang out for just 1 or 2 hour increments due to our schedules. I can tell you all that he was a FUCKING ROCK STAR in the booth.

Josh from Herbalizer also came by and we had a great time discussing how our two vapes are going to change the market place. I am pleased to say that although we experienced a bunch of negatives at this event, Josh and I have started the conversation of how we can elevate the social status of this industry. I think this is very important because the HT events appear to be catering more and more to a different crowd and to put it frankly, I don't believe it puts this industry in a positive light. One only needs to read the last quote in the article from USA Today (http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/02/09/marijuana-convention/5341821/) to see what kind of shit show this has devolved into but happy to see that Gia is the first photo on the page (I'm somewhere in there sporting @Vapinghole awesome polarized sunglasses) We celebrate the victories and learn from our (or other's) mistakes. Life goes on and the EVO will progress, at least I get to test our potential concentrates adapter soon.

Thanks for all the support and kind words. On one hand, it is disappointing, on the other hand, the amount of support we received for this bogus decision shows us how many lives we have positively impacted and that is what I got me started doing this in the first place.

Shout out to @t-dub for the Rezblock recommendation

Pretty much the same thing that happened to E3 and videogame expos. They got too big, too cluttered, booth babes and mismanaged. As always, the developers of innovative products suffer the most.

The Cost / Value analysis ends up going red the bigger these things get. Bigger companies split off and host their own events is the next step, with smaller devs doing things like those "2 day crazy idea game" workshop that is less trade show and more community thing.

Update on my ongoing concentrate testing:

I take back what I said about the Kosher Kush Wax (like thick hair gel consistency) not producing vapor. I used way less cotton the next time, and put the wax all the way at the bottom of the ELB (in cotton) then used some ABV cotton to buffer the top, and keep the wax low. With a nice loose cotton + the buffer zone to keep it low = NICE CLOUDS.

....setbacks only make you stronger...;)...do like the idea of the folks themselves arranging their own events...vorrange's comments are wisely spoken...don't know about the rest of you but the assessment of that "vapecritic" guy on the cloud...is NOT the only time I disagree with him...matter of fact very few of those critic's/reviewers I find usefull...maybe it's just me...I was using cannabis before that guy was even born....
