Bought a cloud buddy for use with the cloud... And as it happened the enano took over and is what I primarily use with the CB. I seem to be getting larger clouds as well. God I love the extraction on this log.People are dumbfounded when I load a gong with less than .1 and say this will get you very medicated. They are used to using 1g or more in one sesh so it's amusing to see their tongues fall out in amazement :rofl:

^^^^^This forsure. I have found my favourite way of using this vape is with the standard stem, new basket screen about 1/2 way in the bowl, and using a tiny amount just to fill that little basket cup. I simply tear off a piece that is .01-.05 (any amount works very well), and at exactly heat setting 7 it gives a huuuuuge first hit with resulting massive THICK white clouds. The 2nd hit is medium to light and then it's totally spent super dark thoroughly vaped ABV. So awesome so efficient. I love this one hit style of hitting, every bowl is fresh and no grinding is needed.

I swear i'm getting fuller effects now because i'm getting thicker clouds and more vapor this way!

I got a couple of gongs from Andy, don't have a WT yet, so not in use but, they are a little bit rougher than the pinch stems I got from him. 1 is pretty good, but the other looks like it has cracks that were "melted" back together at some point. Is that pretty normal, or are they weak spots? There are also a few small chips at the lip of the tapered part.

I'd be happy if the cord could be unplugged just so I could pass it around the room then plug her back in when it gets back to me.

Edit: I mean unplugged from the nano not the wall. Just for anyone that was going to be a literal smartass! Lol

I rather like the cord the way it is now but I can see how unplugging it would be convenient

Do you think these can be found with a diameter small enough to fit in a pinched gong or stem? Perhaps someone can think of a way to use these as is?

The idea has been proven, convection dabs off glass frits DO work.
However, the frits you linked to are far too coarse for that purpose. If you'd (for example) grind them down to a suitable size, you would only have like 3 grains left.

Your idea works with frits that are less coarse, or if you're set on such a coarse frit (for less drag resistance) you'd need more diameter than a regular 18mm gong offers. Something like the Versa people did.

I have a selfmade gong with a frit for concentrates that I did to use with my Nano, but it restricts airflow too much for my taste. I prefer a small wad of cotton on a SS screen at the moment. No cleaning required and when the airflow gets too weak, you can pull the cotton apart and still get everything vaped out of it.

I want to get my hands on a HealthStone, modify it to fit a Nano gong, and try that. In the meantime I'm trying gold wool :uhh: ... steel wool worked too, but it's not very inert, it can rust and stuff like that. So when I got my hands on some gold stock, that was one of my first thoughts. It gives nice fine flexy threads on a lathe, perfect "wool" for vapin concentrates from... still need to try it though, haven't had the heart yet, but that small bean of gold wool sure looks good in a Nano stem :o

Those come in 2 different sizes and are cheaper than health stones.

Balls. I cant imagine It would be hard for a blower to fabricate a gong to accommodate one of these... no?

I use McFinns cotton now but I can taste that stuff towards the end of the dab session. I want something inert and non combustible.

Hmm, what temp setting do you use??

I have no experience with your brand of cotton, but I never tasted anything on mine. At least not since I got some organic medical grade cotton from a pharmacy.

I have yet to try the naked cotton alone in a Nano gong on max setting, but I had a wad of that stuff in my EQ at 240°C for a while and could not detect any taste.

Maybe you could try those degummed hemp fibers?? It's on my list as well.

And BTW, those "stones" that MileHighLife posted look like thay might work. Get a glass gong with the pinch, and manually file one of those down until it fits perfectly on that pinch... sounds like it should work.
I imagine with a strong enough torch it should not be too hard to "spot-weld" it into place should you wish to do that.

As this might be of general interest:

I was looking for a step up converter from 110V to 230V for the e-nano and just had the info by Andy first that it needs "50W min." but still wondered what max and current load output it should be able to handle so I asked again and got this info

"The nano peaks @ 25 with a max continuos load of 17.5"

Seems a bit low to me and I wonder if this is Watt and not A, but I'm a total boon when it comes to electricity, so I stick with that and hope a 50W converter does the job :)

But that link told me I am looking for a "claisen adapter" ("Destillieraufsatz nach Claisen" for other german speakers, may also be helpfull if you are looking for one in the EU).
