Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

.....nice vid. man....only thing having the devastator right at the sink brings back bad...bad memories for me...it's the sight of mines demise.....sort of like passing by where you had a car wreck...still not fully over it...
Lol it's funny you say that. Because my ex gf broke my SGW waffle and my dg all in one shot in that sink. The SGW banged into the dg and broke then the dg banged into the middle of the sink then broke. Luckily the dg is getting fixed and the SGW was just the base but yea I get what your saying lol

Man that VaporCritic guy really has it out for VapeXhale. Seems he tries to pull their name down when he can. He got me pretty annoyed today...

Then I took 3 fat bong rips with my EVO and reminded myself how incredible this vape is.

His main issue seems to be with his broken cloud, it doesn't sound like he's even tried an evo:

"*** Update Sept 2013: After 9 months of occasional use my unit has stopped working, it no longer heats up. Luckily this happened within my 1-year warranty period, but VapeXhale doesn’t currently have the parts available to repair my unit, so I will have to wait to have it fixed.

*** Update Jan 2014: Still broken, still no word from them on when I can get it fixed, can’t recommend this vape to anybody if this is how paying customers get treated."

He hasn't. I looked at his YouTube review comments and he seems to have no interest in doing the $250 upgrade.

I mean, he gets an EVO for $250. That be like Microsoft giving you a discounted Xbox One for having a red ringed 360. He doesn't ever mention the difficulties VapeXhale has faced or how they are still trying to figure out this shitty situation.

The biggest problem with it is his website and reviews receive a fair amount of traffic. It's just unfair how he rips on them and seems to provoke others to do the same.

The real question is: has he actually Opened a Support Ticket?

Hell, maybe I should start a vaporizer review channel on YouTube.

Got my EVO yesterday and I have to say it's amazing, much better than my Cloud+ I had which I suspect had some kind of airflow issues. I leave it at 12 and hits are thick and amazing every time, AVB is a perfect shade of brown. So it's everything they advertise, but I just hope it lasts longer than a few months unlike every other VapeX product.

Edit: Oh yeah the whistle is there but it's really not loud or persistent enough to really be annoying. You can get rid of it if you draw a certain way, too.

The whistle has become a total non factor for me now. With my old ticker, I usually took strong rips to get me where I wanted to be. I started out using the EVO the same way, and that is where I encountered the whistle predominantly.

However, I have found through trial that the EVO works better for me now if I use a long slow draw. It just gets me vaked faster and stronger. Not sure why the EVO works differently than the Cloud for me...but it definitely gives me a nicer, stronger vaked session. . . .

Yes.

Yes I agree and I think it does it at lower temps. Meaning the GonG is much cooler, less radiation and conduction than Cloud+, and the extraction "zone" seems to be much more of the ELB rather than just a slim ring.

Yes.

When I first got the Evo I had trouble getting my weed barely brown at all. Now I make it dark like my Solo packs every single time, all the way through.

Guess I must be getting more used to hitting the Evo vs the old Clouds . . .

Yes.

Obviously the EVO is not the OG/Plus. Still, at the start I found myself obsessed with comparisons to my earlier Cloud (I suppose the natural thing to do) that turned out to be rather frustrating. Took me a while (and a couple firmware updates) before I realized that a relaxed draw works as effectively with the EVO as pulling hard, and pretty much eliminates the whistle. That the extraction is more complete, resulting in both better herb economy and getting more vaked. And that the EVO is smoother and faster and easier to use. Initially I was using my EVO as if it were my OG. But it's not - it's an EVO.

Looks like many of us are experiencing the same results...

Not often that a company takes what was initially a great product, and turn it into a fantastic product!
(Especially with all the BS they've gone through)

Both my original ticker and my EVO are two of the best investments I have made throughout the course of my life. Money extremely well spent with satisfaction above and beyond what I ever imagined.

Can't say that about very many things I've purchased over the years...nice to know I can still be surprised now and then.

Vapes on vapes on vapes!
The current strain I am using wasn't extracting all too well so I tried turning the EVO temp up to max. This was my first time using it above 3:00 for fear of combustion, but I figured it would be fine. I can barely type right now it worked so well. I won't use it on max all of the time because I definitely don't have to. This was the first time I was having trouble getting thick vapor (relative to my normal vapor production), but the problem is now solved.

Is there a function video for the new Swagger Turbine HT? Also, when is the Swagger Recycler HT supposed to be released? I did some search but came up empty.

You didn't search hard enough because the answer was just posted a page or two ago. But I believe it should be within a week or two. And yes there should be vids of that ht throughout the thread.

Team Vapexhale got the sham at the show. They didn't win while two run of the mill oil pen vapes and silicone pads won. I'm assuming that these wins are about whose palms get greased the most. Just one man's opinion.

Really? That's disappointing to here. Honestly it's hard to see how a pen can compare to the EVO but whatever...

hope they got a nice amount of exposure for the EVO anyways!
I was working the VXL booth this weekend and I can tell you that they got screwed over pretty bad by an unlikely suspect: Lack of electricity. Those guys at High Times are about as competent as you'd expect from folks that work for such a periodical.

The booth had 5 power outages (iirc) over the two days, and the worst one was for about 2 and a half hours right before the voting ended. It was hard to impress the voters when all you could do was talk about the product, and not demonstrate it. :bang:

I can tell you that it was awesome to watch so many people experience the Evo for the first time. People all react slightly differently, but they all seemed to have that "WTF?" surprise look as they exhaled huge clouds of tasty vapor. It was a lot of fun to make so many people so happy.

:peace:

I typically stay dormant on the forums, however I had an experience a few nights ago that's definitely worth a share:

Around 10pm, I was closing up my electronics repair store in OKC when I got a strange text message from a PA number. At QuickFix (my store), we do a great deal of out-of-state business.. so I reply.

Turns out that that Phil, Ben, & Bryan from the VapeXhale team were on their way to the LA Cannabis Cup from Philly, and just so happened to stop over in Oklahoma City en route to LA. The guys were simply looking for something to do for the night while they were in my city, and decided to hit me up for a local's recommendation.

I invited them out to The Other Room, one of my favorite spots to grab a drink in The Paseo, one of OKC's hip art districts. We finally met up, introduced ourselves, and conversed over some craft brews.

It didn't take long to befriend these blokes, they are truly some of the most genuinely friendly people I've had an opportunity to meet. OKC is known as "The Big Friendly," and they were definitely giving off some "Brotherly Love."

You can definitely tell how passionate and enthusiastic these guys are about the Cloud. As a business owner and entrepreneur, I could definitely tell that I was in the hand of professionals. The team is all about continous improvement, these guys are very sharp & on-point.

After a few beers, with the exception of Ben who was bequeathed the title of D.D, I invited the guys back to my home. They were so eager to see a Cloud "in the wild."

For someone who has watched the Cloud go from fantasy to fruition over the past 4 years, having the guys who built a product that I use on a daily basis sitting in my office was indeed something special. Watching these guys marvel at how I use my Evo, gathering feedback, giving tips, was all a testament to this company's culture. I've worked with a lot of start-ups, but these guys are unique. They all have college degrees in their hands, yet they are pursuing their passions to make an revolutionary vaporizer, this troupe is highly skilled & talented.

I absolutely love my Cloud, and the three months that I was without it was rough. Anyone reading this knows it's difficult to use anything else, because this is HANDS DOWN, the best vaporizer the world has ever seen. After spending an evening with these guys, it's very evident how intimate the relationship is with the product and the very real people behind it. These guys have so much potential, I am stoked to follow them through every other iteration of the Cloud and any other products they might conjure up.

The guys were nice enough to reward me with a Swagger HydraBarrel (pictured below with my HydraLine). Another reason to love my Cloud, and the people who made it a reality.

I've always been a VapeXhale fanboy, and stand firm that there is nothing that comes close. This experience I had with the team made it quite tangible as to why.

Without a doubt, I'm proud to have a Cloud. Keep up the amazing work :)
