boy oh boy am I glad I took the plunge and bought this thing. Wound up with a black long tube version and couldent love it more. If I want to take normal rips I just hold down the button and after about 5 seconds I start dragging on it, this results in pax sized clouds when its on medium. If I want MOSTER rips I just hold the button for 10 seconds, then release, then start holding the button again and ripping on it as hard as I can. This results in clouds that are bigger than the pax or the solo. Theres nothing more than I enjoy have a LONG vape session and this portable definitely knocks that are out of the park. When I was in high school/college I would love smoking full sized blunts and this honestly is the closest thing I could consider to be a literal "vapor blunt".

I instantly fell in love with this thing and cant wait to bring it to the beach or a nice concert for a long relaxing session. I definitely like it better than my pax and it is matching the solo as of right now but in the long run I can see myself using the t-vape more. Its a very sturdy unit as well and feels really comfortable in my hands.

For the 50 bucks I spent I can honestly say this is the best bang for your buck portable. Id still be just as happy if I paid the full price though.

I might not go as far as the Solo, but I definitely think the Tvape is better than the PAX. I was at a show one time and my buddy had his PAX so it was a one to one comparison. The Tvape stank less, hit harder and had less draw resistance.

It looks like these are $120 now..... What's the consensus? Worth it? Better than fllashvape or Mflb?

Thanks!
I may pull the trigger on a new portable tonight, but don't know which!

I would say that I would use it more often and in more scenarios than my MFLB.
Yes, worth it.

Posted just a bit above, this is pretty much what its like getting a T-Vape, llamaman001 described it perfectly and I feel this is the general consensus.

I don't own a solo but I know it can milk it better than if not the same because my short tube instantly white walls after being held for the full 25 seconds.

Not sure how you guys use your T-Vape but I like to load bowls around 0.05 and feel astonished how effective that was.

Thanks for the quick reply!
So you use the short?
I'm using it for personal use, so I won't need to share each pack. (Bud, no tobacco here)
Looks like the long is $120 on eBay, and the short can be gotten direct for $142 shipped (after coupon)

Don't know which to get! Does one vaporize better than the other? Is the only difference purely size?

The long is said to run hotter faster, I wouldn't like its length but that hasn't seemed to be a complaint from the users probably because it works so well. If you don't care about size I recommend the long.
Bigger bowl size, shorter heat up times, I would say instead of 5-10 seconds, I have to hold for 10-15 and I continue holding until it flashes or I am ready to finish my hit.

Can someone help me please! I just purchased a T-vape and it arrived yesterday. last night i tried smoking a cigarette with it but i wasn't able to get it to work so i left it plugged in to charge for the night. The next morning I power on the T-vape and after about 8 seconds it just powers down. My intention is to smoke some good old mary jane with this but that doesent seem like it is going to happen. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Long tube? I would try pressing the button for AT LEAST 10 seconds, it should MAX out at 25 seconds. Start inhaling around the 15 or 20 seconds time region (but really anytime after 10, but when you wait longer more vapor forms) then release the button when it flashes or when you're ready for it to stop producing vapor.

Turning it off resets the temperature back at 370. It maxes at 420, I believe it just keeps heating it at 420 once you reach it.

You can adjust the method to your liking that should help simplify usage.
You may also want to give the nipple a nice cleaning inside with coconut oil, iso, maybe warm water at least if you find the taste of the nipple not to your liking.

Also PACK. I have screen inside of mine at the bottom of the oven that prevents it from touching the silicone plug on the battery, there is a small deadzone at the top and bottom of the T-Vape.

I'm gonna slightly disagree with Payton. I think it is definitely worth the money. I also think it is better than the Flashvape due to it's stealthiness. But, the MFLB is my go to stealth vape and once mastered is better than the T-Vape in a few ways. The main being heat on demand. No smell or wait for the MFLB. Mash the battery and vape on.

Sounds pretty normal, as long as you aren't reaching combustion. I recommend users to hold at the battery it doesn't really get hot.

Hi all. Tossing in my experience with my TVape that I use for non-tobacco purposes. Got a long barrel TVape last fall after trying several inexpensive vaporizers that turned out to be nothing more than electric pipes. At first I was disappointed with the TVape because I was expecting massive vapor clouds and was not seeing them, and it did not seem like the herb was getting completely vaporized. Then I discovered this forum and trolled it for the past several months picking up tidbits of information here and there on how to make what seemed to be a great idea actually work. It turns out the TVape is like a musical instrument. You gotta learn how to play it.

So, after compiling the following tips, I have rediscovered my TVape and found it to be what I had been hoping for in the first place. Start by grinding your herb. Make sure it is dry and crumbles to the touch. Remove the ceramic filter from the nipple, put a screen between the nipple and the oven and put the nipple on the oven. (IMHO, the ceramic filter has 4 pin sized holes that simply inhibit air flow and the screen does what screens do without that restriction.) Load the chamber with the nipple on bottom and the open chamber pointing stright up. After filling the chamber, gently, very gently, use the poker and push the herb towards the nipple giving it just the slightest bit of compression and creating an oven space between the heater and the weed. Connect the oven to the battery keeping the nipple tilted down. Once assembled, turn it on while it is plugged in to the charger and wait for it to heat up. Take long slow pulls as it is heating up. These are the flavor hits where each herb's own unique flavor is at its tastiest. Once the light is green, you get 2 - 3 good tokes and clouds of vapor before it begins to fade. Simply hold the power button down for 10 seconds, release it, and you get another 2-3 good tokes before it begins to fade. Repeat the process again two more times for 4 - 6 good tokes. Clean up is a snap.

I was coveting my friend's Pax, but no more. For about half the price of a Pax, the TVape gets it done. The long barrel and overall diameter makes the TVape more difficult to conceal when out and about in public but there is no smoke or fire. I am not sure how much difference the short barrel makes and will investigate further before deciding to invest in the short oven barrel. Thanks to all who posted the comments and tips that turned a disappointment into a joy.

The short I definitely enjoy, and isn't bothered by people in public as much as those shiny silver e-cigs with cartomizers, but I don't blow clouds right after my hit (by choice). With the short tube you would definitely want to hold for more than 10 seconds, because at the 10 second mark you start to notice vapor form.

I know my T-Vape can't literally can't combust, but it sounds like your long tubes get hot super fast, has anyone other than clouded vision come across a presumably faulty oven.

My T-Vape usage is now a domed screen at the bottom dead zone and a screen between the nipple and oven. Doesn't matter if your herb is grinded, as long as its packed well enough to touch the oven walls. There is a dead zone up top too so I formed the screen between the n and o into a nipple-like dome.

I now routinely crank the heat up in increments to the maximum as part of the process each time I use the TVape. The outside never gets more than warm to the touch and I get every bit of the herb I put in the oven. The residue is dark brown, smells like burnt popcorn, and crumbles to dust if you rub it between your fingers.

The oven gets hots, its normal, I always recommend users holding around (or preferably at) the battery. Once you get above 400 and definitely reach max temp it may not be a pleasure trying to hold by the oven. If you want to do oils or wax in this vape just put some oil/wax on some cotton then load it in the T-Vape.

I hope I just didn't waste money on this device. I got the long black tube and waiting for it to arrive.

I'm new to the flower world, returning after years of zero use. I used to smoke and vape, and vape high was much better for me and my migraines. So I'm hoping this will give me a nice high, and relief from pain.

But I read that screens help this device. So what do y'all suggest screen wise. I don't know much so the more info the better.

Hey Chellby,

First off welcome to the best combustion fucking forum ever.

If you haven't read thru this thread yet I recommend it highly (pun fully intended). Great info and only 20 pages so not a lot to search thru.

What I do with my screens is this:

1. Take out ceramic filter from mouthpiece and discard.
2. Load material into T-vape while screwed into battery.
3. Push screen from top (where the mouthpiece goes) onto material. I don't pack it down, just push until I feel some slight resistance from the material.
4. Turn unit over and unscrew from battery.
5. Take a second screen and push in against material so that it is at least 1/2" to 3/4" off of the bottom. (Reason for this is because there is a dead spot directly over the silicone cap on the battery that does not heat)
6. Screw battery back into oven, put mouthpiece on and enjoy. :science:

The T-vape really "could be" a nice portable option that can milk any of my glass big time when used correctly (while reading through the thread take a look at my video milking some chinese glass with it, don't mind the In and Out burger advertisement in the background, we had gotten a little off subject talking about munchies and the Mods Modded it - thanks by the way mods, some of the threads here might look like stoners were running them if you guys didn't clean up all the time!) Speaking of correct usage, below is a post by Rude Boy that really made the T-vape come together for me.

Now the bad stuff. :uhoh:

1. Taste is not great.
2. Off Gassing happens on a lot of the ovens. When you receive it make sure to do a burn in (run the unit empty like you had something in it), and check for any vapors. My first oven was horrible (literally smoked) so got a second one and it is much better, but still got a little unknown vapor.
3. Customer service was almost non-existent for me. I emailed there customer service person and did not receive an email back for over a month. Told them the issue with the off-gassing and did not hear anything back so I decided to buy another oven to try out. Finally got a response another month later with a return authorization (I have not sent back the oven that had bad off gassing yet, but will be in the next week.)

I do believe that the concept of the heater is good and works very well, but to be honest I did not feel that health wise it could meet my expectations.

Hopefully you get an oven that does not off-gas because I really like the T-vape but have recently switched my daily driver to a Lotus and haven't looked back.

Here is that post on correct usage (Throw out the manual when you receive it!) Good luck and welcome back. With this forums help you will have 6 new vapes and 4-5 new glass pieces by the end of the year. Damn VAS GAS.

I just had a small epiphany with the tVape and paytonpenn was onto it earlier with

Today I got really good hits by always holding the power button down until it flashes not by trying to count out seconds . it will keep bumping up and flashing . Then I do get pretty good respectable hit or 2 after each rise in temp if I take it to the flash . the session I just finished I bumped it up 15 times after taking the first few hits . It took the Bud to the full toasted burnt pop corn taste and spent avb . I'll try another session in a while to see if there is any battery left and If I can repeat the results .

It does seem you have to power up to that flash for every hit then it works ,
just not hot enough to vape when its on green . I think paytonpenn hit on the temp problem and that the instructions seem way off .
maybe written only for tobacco use ?

EDIT : I know this was quick but my new method of using the tVape that works :
load ground herb
lay screen in chamber (I like the small ones) Don't poke it in like I thought yesterday .
remove the ceramic piece from the Nipple
turn it on and let it get to temp
take a few hits
hold the power button until it blinks
take a few hits
Hold the power Again until it blinks
take hits and repeat the hits get bigger Its freckin' cool

when the light is green the unit is waiting for you to power it up and take a hit , it may drop and hold a lower temp on green but to low to vape , its a power on and hit it vape and not a session vape like the DaVinci where it holds the temp when the green light is on . Its kickin' ass today using it like this . so I hope this all makes some sense to you now and to me still in a few hours .
Seems almost too simple that holding the power on until it flashes between hits was all that was missing for me having better luck and not a week of weak sessions
I Hope you all can get the same results .

PEACE ALL . VAPE ON .
