That's the sad part of the saga, that this type of collaborative interaction will not continue, at least not for this product on this forum. I get that there were serious past transgressions, and there is a need to enforce the regulations to prevent further ones. But for a moment at least, the open collaboration between manufacturer and end user was refreshing and illuminating.

I remember they just recently finalized the g1 design before all of the drama began.

Anyway, while I am one that got a quick refund, I don't think Versa and it's product(s) are scams. I think they will be delivered as promised. I think 'Lieana' was a scam, it's Christopher in my opinion. I pulled out because trust is important to me if I am to buy a pre-production unit that no one outside the manu has actually touched yet. Once the Infinity comes out and if it has great reviews and (even a short) history of reliability then I very well might purchase one then at full price.

I look forward to seeing reviews and videos of the beta units. Hopefully we'll have a new, reasonable priced, high performance vape on the market soon. I am rooting for the design and the company, despite the shenanigans. :tup:

Yup. It was a real good feeling while it lasted and it made me break my no beta, no pre order rule. I am not ashamed that I believed in that ideal nor have I given up hope that that collaboration produced a superior product then what was first presented. I hope to find out soon.

Please report back when you do. Anxious to hear from all you testers once the product arrives, especially if you guys can achieve the kind of milk along with light colored ABV that was presented in the vids. That vid was impressive to say the least.

I certainly will. I had and still do have every intention of putting this through a full work out. I have yet to find a way to do concentrates I like better then doing .o1dabs on a nail, every device has been fun while new but gets shelved with the true test of time, not my nails and custom glass. In theory it seems it will hold my interest.

The hookah set up got me excited to vape flower again, it has been a year since I consistently did any flower and a chance to use my antique hookah, I like. That will get a full workout too. I think I have all the adaptors I need to test the concentrate bowl on the hookah as well. The idea of being horizontal blowing huge clouds of oil, it makes me fuzzy warm just thinking about it.

Let's just say I have high expectations and don't keep quiet when they are not met.

My post said something like "I realize I am married and know you very well could be too, but...um...will you marry me?" Maybe it's just me, but it seemed obvious to me that it was a joke. Not a big deal and I get the need to make others look like idiots in order to feel good to not be among them, but I don't particularly like being misrepresented. But who the hell am I kidding. This is an online forum. I guess that's part of it.

So that's my piece. Here's hoping for a good outcome to a bad face-plant. If I'm an idiot and am still being completely suckered, well fuck it. The Dude still abides.

Can't you and the manufacturers get together at another site or on IRC? I don't see why their lack presence here should end all collaboration. If you guys have a good thing going, stick with it.

after the units are out in the wild maybe it will see some action.

i like FC, man and if i had to choose just 1 site to go to, i'd choose this one, and i'd rather have a manufacturer here if there is interaction. you've got a great range of people here, from tech skills to personal interest, and very importantly, 'house rules'. to meet here on FC, to me, that is more of a win-win scenario. and i'd like to believe that not all things are written in stone.

I'm getting prepared. I've got plenty of bud. Two pieces of glass on the way. I want to go ahead and order a whip and the step up converter. But I want to see a tracking number first. So far nothing. got in late and with shipping my spend was $275. I don't even know what im getting as far as case and accessories go. I need to see sonething from versa before spending more

if i may canj00digit, i too heaped praise on their transparency + vibrant sense of urgency. i loved it! imho we choose, on face value, a positive option based on whatever information we had at that point in time. the developments were not what u or i expected but does it make a difference to you if your actions & thoughts came from a good place inside you? to me, that matters a lot in this often cynical world, at least the way i see it.

It was still interesting and exciting to watch the product develop.
That's why I happily keep an open mind about what is to be with the Infinity.

Wow this thread went in a direction I did not anticipate. Lots of drama here. I hope all of you who paid for something end up receiving what you paid for. Just from the history I read.. I would be wary.

so the heating process is this venturi effect mentioned? sounds fancy, honeycomb heater and all but does that particular airflow make that much of a difference in practice? i'm no engineer or tech person so this sounds like greek to me. wish the manufacturer was here to chime in.

i am looking forward to the reviews, but holding on the see what develops. the beta for the G1 presently requires a step-down (that's step down, right?) for international orders. i am not too fond of additional things like bulky step converters (those expensive ones i think).

One can be both wary and still open to future consideration, as I am. They are not mutually exclusive.

I hope that it does perform as shown in those YouTube videos I saw. I saw the material BARELY change color. Considering how widely material can vary in quality, I am extremely curious if others can reproduce the same scenario with many different types of material. I look forward to the reviews.

Something does irk me though. It reminds me too much of the LSV. Nothing I can't get over but the function reminds me of what I do with my LSV. Hopefully there is something in this product that differentiates itself in function. :2c:

As for the Boost mode.. No.. but the way its held and put into a joint.. its the same motion. That's what I meant with it being too similar.
