Discontinued The Hammer Vaporizer

I normally turn the bowl of the stem to the ground with my finger covering it and flick at it a few times in. If it happens the herb doesn't move then I've got a trusty nail. Always.

EDIT:
@Unisonruss you should see if you can find some tapered corks that fit, I know these fit well in the non lock on stems and the older ones I got from Dave which are bigger fit on lock on stems. But I'm sure Home Depot or similar stores would have some.

Started using my new hammer yesterday, really enjoying it so far. Had a rough couple of trial runs, but now I've got my technique down pretty well. The vapor taste is really nice, and you get some nice clouds. I also really like the design, the fact that it is powered by butane, and it's not much bigger than a medium-sized torch. And i love that it's convection. I do have two gripes: the smell of butane in the air can be a little nauseating, but if I hold a hammer away from me during warm-up I can usually avoid most of it. Also, I wish that the glass stem had some sort of screen to protect the herb from falling out of the glass piece. I accidentally spilled two bowls already, and have even spilled a little herb inside, causing combustion.

I am thrilled to discover improvements made on hammer 2.0.

Edit: bad typing, high tolerance story.

I apologize if this has been answered but is there anyway to regulate the flame down for lower temperature herbs?

Yes, look at one of my post to have the way to go.

Basically you have to open the unit in half. Unscrew all tiny screws etc.

The settings is to slide carefully the two red disk (one is the setting plot for user, other is cranked).

Yes, the dial decreases flame height or you could not heat it long.

Edit:
I was beat.

But if you use the dial at a different setting but always heat up the same amount you should notice different temps, then 5-10 second heat ups to get back to the temp after a hit.

I normally use 25 percent for tasty hits, 50 for heavier hits, and 75 for either speed or finishing.

Does the Hammer Vaporizer give off any smell of the herb youre using because id like to use it indoors without any smell?
Also where can i buy one in the UK?

Just your exhale will smell. Make a sploof ir buy a smoke buddy, your bud will also smell when youre loading it, but thats always an issue.

As for where to get one, no idea..

I got my smokebuddy from Amazon for 11 dollars, after a few months of not using it I gifted it to an ally.

But it worked well and I have owned others in the past, just didnt actually need it as much as I thought I would.

Herb can dance around the in the stem and end up with a particle in the heater which tends to create a smell but I dont think others would notice.

Edit:
I see, UK, not sure about speed or pricing but these I feel are more geared for intl shipping. But Im mobile, I know the ebay seller ships from CA, USA but starts shipping off with intl

These corks from Underdog work great for prepacking stems for on the go. Tried the Hammer with a tube with great results. Starting to get it down. Great little portable.

Finally got oil for the first time, luckily the Hammer works exactly how I thought it would.

Can I get one of these things in Ti? I'll make a video tomorrow, not sure how safe it is but wow.

So I just put some sticky oil on a nail, heated the Hammer, placed a Hammer stem with cotton (no oil on the cotton) on my AC, stopped heating and connected to the non-lock stem and placed nail in the other heatport (all the way and it danced), the best dab I've done from a vape.

Sorry for the double posting, but I have finished the video(s)

The excess vapor I believe is from oil that is already inside it. I've noticed afterwards I can just heat up and get some light vapor and clouds without adding more oil.

I've tried wax and oil with cotton in my UD and it worked really well got alot of hits, but this was not the same high, nor the same experience. I guess not many Hammer users have oil otherwise I feel like someone would have tried this already.

@Head Tools any reasons I should not keep doing this?

Pretty new to dabbing so still trying to figure out how to appropriately apply and grasp the oil.

mod note: It is okay to post back-to-back if the edit time has expired.

@paytonpenn BRILLIANT!!! I tried something similar... It did work, but your method is much easier. The only thing to consider is that since the torch only heats the middle, the ends of the heat exchanger will eventually get very dirty inside. Also, I would suggest is to use something else to apply the concentrate... The included nail is not made of stainless steel.

@WannaVape We have considered doing a modification like you suggest (drilling a hole in the top of the heat exchanger), but I have stayed away from this because it could allow the butane to enter the airpath. Now paytonpenn has solved the problem :D

The concentrate adapter that we have been testing is based on convection. The concentrate is applied to an inert "sponge" in the stem (similar to the cotton trick, but without the possibility of combustion). Our testers love this method because all of the flavors are preserved... you can maintain the perfect temp without scorching the concentrate. We are almost done with testing and hope to add it to the website very soon.

I will definitely be looking into a titanium version of the Hammer.

NO MORE wispy HITS

I have a bunch of new custom stems that are ready to go on the website, but all of them use screens. I will try to get some screenless ones made in the next week.

Received my all glass gong yesterday, beautiful little clear glass.:tup:The Hammer is Fuckin' Rockin' my flex mini rig and the taste when used dry is every bit as good as the Vapo 2. Can't wait for them to stock some more custom screenless stems.

I really couldn't ask for more out of a portable vaporizer (Ok, a hair better if it didn't make that loud WHooosh sound on ignition, don't see that as possible). The HAMMER will be my daytime goto portable from here on in.

@Hammer Vaporizer and @Head Tools. Y'all made one Awesome fucking little vape.

Lovin' My Hammer.

The Hammer with my custom stem 009(beautiful little piece of glass) is serving me very well as my daily daytime driver, workin' amazing for loads of .01 and less. Perfect low temp hits to start the day with a calm stomach and to gain an appetite, after eating a hightemp session with the same bud with a tiny tiny pinch of green for taste and my pain is manageable.

Feeling good Hammering down in the Sunshine. :peace:

Any idea when the concentrate adapters will be available? Your post was about 3 weeks ago... :whip:
