Arizer Solo

Just changed my screen placement from domed with it facing l( Then I cut it so it fit flat instead. Can get more herb in this way and at 4 heating with stem in, then waiting 30s longer after heat up and got huge milky hits. Much bigger than with screen in first domed configuration. Not sure if because more herb, better circulation or both? AVB came out more even dark brown I'm used to, not really dark (almost black) on bottom, lighter deeper in, like before with domed screen. Very impressed with this portable vape now. Clouds as big as old DB desktop.

Look For The Authorized Logo!
Always look for the Authorized Logo to ensure you are buying a Genuine Solo. The advantage of buying from an authorized distributor is you will always get a complete kit with the newest version of the Solo vaporizer. You will also be fully covered by the manufactures 2 Year Warranty on the heating element and you will receive the best service possible.

That is what is bothering me as well. I thought they did the warranty issues as well. I guess we will have to fully read there policy. Maybe it has changed or I don't remember correctly. I always thought you could send it back to them. If this were not the case I would have recommended PIU even for the Canada people.

@Tom Funk , I have only gotten accessories from PV as well. I got my solos from PIU and a forum member.

@Bearded Dude , I agree the store should take care of it but do they even have a return or replacement policy on there receipt? I wouldn't buy anything from them ever again but would follow the suggestion of getting arizer to have the store switch it to make life simple. Hopefully that can work.

The people in the shop sucked.. I did just receive a reply from the shop owner though after I emailed him directly and said he is looking into the issue with Arizer but apparently they don't reply on weekends so we won't hear back until next week. Hopefully that works out ok...

No there isn't anything on the receipt.. it's one of those like notepad type receipts that they fill in by hand.. I had a bad feeling about it all and should have listened to that lol oh well.. will see how this goes and report back!

Additionally, I found this on the PV site:

I think for PV to make good on their confusing Solo Warranty Service representation vs. the fine print in the Terms section "RETURNS/EXCHANGES", Arizer needs to contact PV or vice versa to get an OK for the exchange. If this is in fact the case, then Planet Vape should have at least made that process clear in a reply email or phone talk. I understand that our good friend PUI turns them around free as soon as he gets your tracking number - no fuss no muss. And his prices won't be beat.

I think it's quite clear myself. The over the counter exchange is for "out of the box" defects.
Anything they do beyond that is just surpassing their stated obligations.
After owning for a few weeks I would not expect a new replacement, unless they could not fix it.

At least that's how I see it..

So being that I vape exclusively now (E cigs as well), I noticed I am waking up with a sore throat. I would assume I'm burning the back of my throat. Quick question. Would getting something like the Pinnacle attachment help with this? I would assume so. Also, are any additional attachments needed if I order it?

Yes. Water will help.
No. You don't need any other attachments. A solo stem mates fine with the water tube (a GonG is nicer though).

I experienced this also when I was first switching. For me, it went away in time...I imagine water path will def. help though.

yea.... i wish i knew too. i would have bought mine from Puttitup too if i knew i would have to deal with Arizer direct (which for me has been a disaster). aside from after market HES stems... i can no longer in good conscience recommend @PlanetVape to anyone except people that live in canada... and them too i would probably recommend Randy at PIU

Thanks guys, gonna order one of these bad boys. Looking at one on eBay for $69.99, is this a good price?

If you do go through Puffitup.com ($160), Randy takes care of you if anything EVER happens with your solo. In my experience, you get what you pay for when buying from Ebay. I won't risk what I inhale, or my warranty on a possible fake.

You are talking about the Solo correct? I'm asking about the Pinnacle attachment. Found a coupon for VaporNation and got it for $59.49 shipped.

My apologies, my mistake. Thats the usual price for the Pinnacle water tool.

Is the Pinnacle water tool worth it? Im also considering getting either that the F-Bomb or a bubbler.

F-bomb is more expensive here in uk then pinnacle and I'm not sure if its worth paying £30 extra for it if the difference is negligible.

The other comparison to think about is to get a PWT instead of a bubbler, they are about the same price £50 but I'm wondering if the difference between the two is a big one or is very minor? I obviously want the better product but have to also consider size for easy storage and to keep it hidden away.

The two bubblers that i was looking at are the:

Weed Star Skinny Mentalist Beaker
Black Leaf 5mm Dual Bowl Oil Bubbler

or maybe theres even a better one available that someone can recommend?

Thanks

Not that I know anything since I have yet to own either, but I did read a few reviews stating both devices were pretty good (pinnacle & f-bomb). I decided to go with the much cheaper Pinnacle.

I own both F-Bomb and PWT.
First impression, the PWT wins in almost all categories.
F-Bomb is more restrictive than PWT which translates into better cooling.
So after owning both for a while now, I find myself reaching for the F-Bomb for performance.

yes others have said the same thing, about the bomb being better. But then again some have even said that the difference is almost negligible especially considering the price difference. However for myself as i will probably only ever buy one water bubbler/tool, i don't mind paying the extra if its worth it and thats also why I'm still considering to either go for the water tool or buy a bubbler!!! So many options to decide from :(

For what its worth I sold my PNWT shortly after buying my bubbler. No comparison IMO. The FBomb and PNWT are cool and travel easy but id in no way want that to be my only water tool. A bubbler or bong on the other hand...
