Sounds like you've got the M1C1 blues. If it were me, I'd return any M1C1 model that didn't work properly out of the box just from reading all the problems people have been having with that lot.

Naw, can't be. The new ones are much better than the older ones......I know it's true, I read it on the web.....

Ok so after extensive experimenting with my m1c its is just as beast as my old m1a. I see everyone having problems but mines heats up fine and cooks very well i have fell in love with the solo all over again. My m1a had bigger clouds but not by much this thing works just as good. I have put my mflb and pnp to the side and have just been using the solo exclusively for about two weeks. I love this little thing but the battery dies a bit faster then i remember. That is due to more airflow/cooling so there seems to be more heating being done to maintain temp. All in all you can't go wrong im glad i got another One of these bad boys to add to my fast growing collection of vapes. Much love to all solo users keep vaping.

so i received my solo the other day and i tried the straight tube to fit in the unit.Works good after applying a little force but now i tried the curved stem and it fits with using absolutly no force.
so the stem is very loose and not tight.i dont need to push it,it just slides in.isn t this strange?

Nope, totally normal. Small variances in the glass pieces and some may fit snugger than others.

You can reset the teflon ring (just push it down) and they will snug up again temporarily.

also after some heat cycles the o ring wears down a little and both will fit fine, so you have an excuse for more sessions lol

Well I'm a new Solo owner (m1c1) and so far I'm not very happy with the weak vapor. I'm still getting the high so I'm not exactly pissed about it but this unit is really not impressing me, which makes me think there's a problem lol
I have to apologize the unit I just picked up is made just before ARISER made revisions to the SOLO.
Looks like I have 3 units the same. I will test it out anyway and the seal needs to be added.
@Bearded Dude send yours back?
@Tom Funk I stand corrected!
PV only offers the Fbomb for Pinnacle and everywhere else seems to be out of stock on the Pinnacle Pro Water Tool...suggestions?

edit: found them via "14.4 mm Micro-shower Water Tool" search

And

PVHES PlanetVape High Efficiency Stems

Is one better than the others?

Seems with loser fit Of stems in new model for improved airflow couldn't someone design a slightly bigger stem to fit like older models with greater air restriction and arguably bigger milkier clouds?

Ok so not really happy, stupid LHS said they can't switch it and I have to contact Arizer for warranty replacement. Being that they are in the same province as me it should be quick but still not happy about having to send it away. Especially since it's been like this since out the of box and only 2-3 weeks.

I'm going to call again and try get a manager but these shops aren't the most professional...

I'll buy from reputable sites from now on. Frustrating...

Call Arizer. When I had a warranty issue, they arranged with a local shop for me to do the exchange there. They might be willing to work through your LHS.

I notice the f-bomb from planet vape has an 18mm option, can anyone who might have one with the 18mm joint comment on wether the whole piece is a larger diameter or if it just has a larger joint... Seems to me the whole thing would need to be a little wider, but I could be off base since it is dewarr.

@Unnotrafitto you will probably be receiving a newer model that charges when plugged in. just guessing by what people have been getting lately. hope you get it soon the solo is a beast

Thank you, that's good to know, I just hope i don't get a defective one as, according on what i've read, there are lots of those. Besides that i'm sure i won't be disappointed as it's my first solo as well as my first vape ever!

Well, I emailed planet vape about my Solo hardly working and was told to contact arizer directly and keep them updated, so my email is off to arizer. Really not looking forward to having to ship this brand new unit back and wait for my replacement. I can still pull off an OK session with this thing if I use a domed screen to cut half the bowl off, and draw extremely slow on temperature seven, like mflb slow. Then it can get everything a very light yellow on temperature seven over a full session, but this is not the Solo I remembered or want it takes as long to sesh as my mflb and doesn't get it as dark. I have high hopes for arizer re calibrating the same unit super hot if I have to send it back, I'd like that.

Edit: I've been using both solos back and forth, and the one with a ceramic bowl grabs the stems snugger. I'm almost wondering if maybe I don't need a new solo, but just a bigger stem that gets more conduction from the oven. Hard to tell, but my pvhegong doesn't really fit so good in my solo either. I haven't used the bent stem at all because I put a screen in there without doming it, and it got blocked and now I can't get the screen out and don't have the patience to bend a coat hanger or something. I'm going to go to my girlfriends house later and steal her stems, and try some of my old stems in the new solo and see if different glass might help too.

Always in a state of confusion and silliness♀
I am in shock, first menz now willeh that pv won't replace a vape. I thought it was cause menz's was old or had a special problem but now I am thinking that is how they just handle at least solos. I guess that is a question to ask any seller if that bothers you. It would bother me.

Interesting.. so I guess even if I did order through PV I still would have had to contact arizer.

That's awful customer service IMO... basically I bought a "brand new" solo from the shop near me and now I have to pay MORE to send it out and get it working properly? How does that even remotely seem fair? These places should be replacing our units and sending the defectives off THEMSELVES. Not the other way around... ugh.

I can understand maybe if it was kinda old or actually broke somehow but for something that hasn't worked right since unboxing and is still a fairly new purchase.. it feels really unfair to hear that I have to contact the maker and work it out with them myself.

Calling Arizer I just get a recording saying to email them. No reply since this morning so I guess it takes awhile...

I have more confidence in PIU than PV. I thought that PV handled warrenty issues though. Perhaps they are getting a bit cocky because they have got the coveted high efficiency stems. In any case, it cost me less in shipping to get my Solo from PIU and the stems and GonG from PV than it would have if I had purchased it all from PV.

@ataxian, where did you get your new solo?

Cheers
