Mobius Glass

My old 60t (with cracked top tube and broken mp) has been repaired into a sidecar bubbler. This thing hits like my 60b, clears faster due to less volume, and the sidecar mp provides better view of vapor forming in the tube.

Wish they made these from the factory...

It's just what mobius calls that perc. (the "Zero Drag Perc")

I would assume you'd still use a normal bowl with that wand (not pictured)

Basically just pack a bowl like you would if you were gonna combust, but instead of holding a lighter up to the bud, you heat the little ball at the end of the rod until its really hot, then press the super hot glass against the bud.
The rod should be hot enough to light the bowl even though there's no flame.

Full disclosure:
I've never used a hot wand to light a bowl, but that's my understanding of the setup...

Cal, have you thought of posting that picture in the Ask Dorkus thread? I'm certain he knows how to work that beast!

It's just a glass push rod sitting inside an ash-catcher. They were bought separately and don't go together. Someone just was taking a neat picture of their collection. I'd post the original thread but it's from another forum so I don't think that's cool.

I am looking for a pic that has a Strato and a Nano side-by-side.

IIRC there was one on here somewhere, some guy had both tubes on a table with a Clear or an Ion something. The pieces had that pale hue to them, the one that says cleaned but used before. I cannot find that pic again.

Any help would be appreciated!

TIA

Since we welcomed a new member to the family, I got them all together for some photo fun. Here is the new 65t:

So I sold my clear matrix to a buddy in need a while ago and am dying to replace it with a new Mobius piece. The question is do I go with the Ion matrix bubbler or the 60 mm stemless stereo matrix bubbler? I have not hit either of these pieces but would love to own one, thoughts anyone on these two pieces? I have only hit the clear reti and matrix, no other Mobius. This will be used for Cera, dabs, and other vaping endeavors. I decided I either want the small bubbler (ion) or the huge one (stereo), I don't want to go in between this time (clear).

I think the clear might actually have the larger volume, since it has the largest diameter of any mobius piece I know of. (I believe its 75mm)

IMO the ion hits exactly the same as the clear, it's just got a smaller can.
Everything is scaled down so well that they seem to perform identically to me.

Having said that, I prefer the larger volume of the clear, but the main reason I prefer the clear is the mouthpiece.
It's the absolute perfect bong/bubbler mouthpiece IMO. Just large enough to comfortably put your lips inside to make a seal.

I'd sell my ion right this second if I could replace it with one that has the same mouthpiece as the clear.
I hate how the mouthpiece is so tiny, you can either purse your lips to use it the traditional way, or you have to put your lips around the mouthpiece...

I had a 60t, and I was a little underwhelmed by it, but that was due to my expectations.
I figured Stereo had to = 2x as good, but it doesn't.
I wouldn't really call it better or worse than a standard matrix, just different.
I ended up selling the 60t, but I def plan on picking up a 60b (or 65b hopefully) in the future.

So the mouthpiece is a lot smaller on the ion? In the pictures they look the same, I didn't even think about that, I would not really want a smaller mouthpiece, though i would like slightly smaller volume than the clear.

So the stereo is about as good as the regular matrix you would say? How is it different than the standard matrix? If it is just an aesthetic upgrade I am okay with that as long as it is at least as good as the regular matrix. Honestly the stereo bubbler is kind of ugly (other than the perc) but it is kinda calling to me anyway...
