Vaporizer pen Help/advice And a few questions.

Im new here and this is my first thread so please dont be to harsh. Ive just recently been able to get wax and decided a pen was my best option and so far it worked good. But lately has veered downward. Its a medicali the earl pen and came with some nice extras and everything but wonder is this a good pen or do i need something a lil better? can i upgrade this pen as in use the battery and buy different atomizer online. as the lil atomizer has a wick in the middle and doesn't get as hot as it did prior to use the wick is all black and caked up seems to limit the power. I can upload pics of the atomizer if needed i hope someone has used this and can give some tips. Thanks and il be back after i smoke a jay to see if i got a response. Thanks guys/girls.

I'm not familiar with that model but most atomizers don't like oils and gunk up pretty quickly. I personally gave up on trying to use MJ in e-cig style units.

If it has a 510 connection you most likely can get another style atomizer to use with the battery. Most are not really designed for MJ and just repurposed e-cigs (so they don't work well...or for long). If you get something that is specific for dabbing - I think you'd be better off.

I see yes it is a ecig battery. The brand medicali they are more with glass bongs with the nail and what not. I read a bit on it the atomizer is a dual one. Cant figure out how to post the pics. Must have to be on a pc and not mobile. Whats a good brand for a atomizer its a 510 thread so I should be able to put a different one on.

And I use concentrate its like a gooy honey or peanut butter. I removed the wic last night with a tweezers actually can see it heat up now. But near the end of the dav I get a bad taste and smell. I didnt ever drip on the wic I prob gotta do that on the other atomizer. The pen came with two. Medicali.com is the website

That style works fine with wax. I prefer Dr Dabber's heaters, as they use Ti wire for the heater coil, but that style should work fine

Pulse the button a bit, rather than just holding it down. Like, 3 secs. Wax can burn easily, and your coil can get too hot for it.

So I saw a thing on grasscity about taking the wic out is that an option? Otherwise whats the proper way to prep an atomizer before use. And il be going to a good vape shop in a bigger town later this week. So would like a good idea of what to get

looked into getting a a globe and a new ego twist variable volt should be around by sat. il use my last atomizer that came with my medicali pen. I like the deeper style of these as i get overflow alot and sticky mouthpeices.

I've used a lot of domes and that has given me the biggest hit out of a pen so far. Also doesn't the medicali chamber that you own have a screen you can put over the coil? that might prevent some build up.
I was thinking about purchasing the Medicali Pen pretty soon, overall how would you rate it?

In the name of science, I tried pulling the wick and the only thing the atty was good for after that was single, tiny dabs placed directly on the coil. If any fell off, your only option was to scoop it up and replace on coil. Not practical.

Most wick style attys should be primed before use. Place a little dab on the heater and pulse a couple of times for a second or two to get the material to melt into the wick. After that, you should be able to use and load normally.

I don't like the globes. They seem to be more for show than effectiveness and usually have a way smaller cup. IME, most shops recommend whatever unit has the highest profit margin for them. A few things that might help:

- a variable voltage battery will be able to run more, different style attys/carts
- the larger the battery (measured in mah), the longer it will go before needing recharged.
- make sure that the carts match the battery

I have a question pertaining to this pen, the Medicali Earl.

Do you load the wax directly onto the coil, or onto the screen which is about 1 cm above the heating coil?

My girlfriend bought me one for valentines day and it didn't come with any instructions

I initially put some onto the screen and it seems to be very slowly working its way down, but loading it right into the coil/wick works way better, but vaporizes a large amount very quickly.

I think it's safe to say never do that. You may want to check youtube for some demo vids on this and similar pen vapes.
