I do not have XP but compared to the SOLO:

SOLO has the better battery life and can be extended with a @CentiZen Battery pack

IMO Its harder to keep PNP clean with out its brush.

The solo you just blow out your load while its still hot and your good to go, I can get over 2 weeks with a clean stem on this method.

The solo is not as stealth as the PNP, IMO, but the PNP will generate a lot more smell but looks more like a huge e-cig or e-cigar.

The PNP runs a lot hotter making it more versatile in the event you encounter a beautiful load of extracts.

Might anyone have a effective phone # for Vapor Blunt? My second unit died (after 4 uses) and I need an RMA#. Sent a couple of e-mails but nothing yet.

Yeah, I have a broken/snapped mouthpiece issue. Emailed with purchase no.(as per their `issue ` screen. I`ve heard nothing back! Still...1 year warranty on product/parts(excluding battery, 3 moon).
...I`m sorry, I guess I should have said `high`(intro)...apologies, please excuse my bad! Sharing one! :)

Just wanted to share the case I use for my PNP. It's just a Playstation Portable case, about $10 on Amazon. I cut 2 pieces of an Odor Eater insole to fit inside & cut the smell. Holds my PNP, bullet holder, and in a pinch, my grinder, for trips longer than 7 bullets. Lots of cushioning and put together well.

If you need to contact VaporBlunt I would call the Wholesale number at 818-231-0782. I didn't see any other number to call. They have somebody that's answering their customer service number but I didn't see any number. I have had a person answer that number before in the past. I would ask for the cs number. If you find out what it is, let everyone know on this thread, it would be much appreciated.

Hello all,

I've been following this forum for a few days and finally decided to go with the PN Pro. Snatched one off eBay for $160! Cannot wait, but I have a few ?s about it and how some others are using the heat settings for herb.

I am totally new the the vape scene but the research I've done suggests that herb starts combusting at 393F or so. That said, why are people using heat settings higher than the first one (370F)?

Just a n00b here so be gentle. :\

EDIT - and I know the higher settings are for waxes and oils, so I mean why do people use the higher settings for herb?

Welcome, HitTheGreen. Some folks need the higher temps for pain, sleep or nausea. I vape around 400 degrees. The lower temps aren't as sedating, so during the day if you need to stay alert and you're not medicating for pain, the lower temps probably would work for you. The regular Pinnacle has just 2 settings, 375 and 390 degrees and its cheaper than the Pinnacle Pro.

I like to use the Water Tool that's mated for the Pnp. The higher temps are cooled down by the water tool. I strongly suggest getting the WT, but thats just me. With the Pnp higher temps allows you to fully extract all the goodies out of your herb. With the WT I'm able to vape on heat level 2 and 3 and it helps with my pain.

On level 2 this unit is a bit harsh for some, so the WT comes in handy. Your ABV is a very dark brown when the goodies are fully extracted from the herb. I can usually get two 7 min sessions from one slightly packed bullet. Check out the beginning of the thread for all the bells and whistles that comes with the Pnp.
You will be very happy with this unit. Some folks have had some problems, but that comes with a new vape just out. Pnp came out in Sept 2013.

Yes, tried that number several times but no answer. Left voice mails but no returned calls.

If I come across a new #, I'll certainly share.

Thanks for responding.

EDIT: I realize that VB is busy with the Baker launch and am confident they will contact me soon. They have been a great company to deal with...*shameless flattery* :)

Just waiting on the silicon tubing to fix the stem into the PnP (obviously just holding it against the bullet works fine but its a rubbish way to use it, tho as you can see, that hasnt stopped me :) ). Also considering hacking apart a PonG to keep the unit looking a bit more 'pro', will wait on the silicon before I do that tho...

PnP GonG A-Go-Go (maybe?)!

Size comparison, please ignore my filthy PonG ;)

EDIT: I'm not very good at judging these things before I actually have them in my hands, but I'm very much considering going for a second version of this. I'll see what happens when the silicon arrives and see how good it looks/how convenient it is to use, and then maybe get the guy to blow a new one with changes. This is afterall just a shortened version of an item he already does, I've put very little thought into this myself really :)

If the silicon works tho, I think I'll be really pleased with this. Instead of just replacing the PonG entirely and fixing the glass in, I'm hoping I can just chop the top off a PonG, 'sand' those ribs out a little, and fix the glass in place with a slice of silicon tubing. The top of the PnP would just look a bit more 'finished' that way. Anyway, I'll probably bodge it and it'll look like arse! :D

EDIT2: Not sure I even need the silicon? Get those ribs inside the PonG to the right level and the glass might wedge in nicely? Who knows, guess I'm ordering a new PonG to find out :)

Well I had to contact Pinnacle today about my P-Pro battery issue. It keeps shutting down on me after the 8 minute timer it won't restart unless I plug it into the power cord. They got back to me in less then an hour. Got to find my receipt. then we will see....

Samirfuzzywuzzy, envious.

Hit The Green, you should love your PNP. I too strongly suggest the water tool, really smooth and it's not that big at all, easy to put on, acts as a shotgun, easy to pull off, easy to clean. I run mine at the second setting, seems to cook the blend well, I get huge tasty clouds, and I run the device until it times out. Sometimes I can run the same bullet through two cycles. If I had to be critical of it, I'd say the battery could last longer, but other than that, it's fantastic. By the way, great screen name. Can't wait for the warm weather here in Cincy so I can get back out

Has anyone had any luck using the flavor tips on the PNP, not melting?

EDIT: I've realised the photos makes the glass look much more bulbous and bigger than it is, the phone has given it a little wide angle silliness :)

Did you notice the taste difference with the all glass path during dry hits?

I really like what you've done here!

Nice work!

Thanks for sharing.

That looks great emmdeemo. A while back ( a few weeks) many of the members on this thread came up with some really great mouthpieces, that had glass attached or some kind of silicone to extend the pong so the vapor path wouldn't be so harsh. Check out threads 108 through about 110 folks really had some good ideas. Dreamerr uses e cig condom that fit over the pong on her Pinnacle, that gives her the flavor of the vapor without the harshness. There's a lot of MacGyvers in the FC community.

I used my clear pong that I ground down so I could fit the glass piece from my Ascent into. It works really great. I can use the Pnp on level 2 with no harsh vapor, level 3 is a little harsh depending the herb, but can deal with little irritation. I now only use the pong with the glass piece while using the Pnp without the WT. I never use the reg mouthpiece anymore.

Hopefully VB will take note of all the great suggestions for improvements to the pong for a mouthpiece that helps with the harsh vapor past heat level 1, while not using the WT.

Yep, totally agreed Pinnacle Pro, and yeah, those pages were my inspiration. Been waiting ages to get the meager amount of disposable income needed :)

Thanks! Same as Pinnacle Pro says above, with my own limited experience with this particular GonG thing (only 2 or 3 bullets with this glass so far and spured on by your question I've been trying to pay attention to the difference)... I think that its a little hotter/fizzier here, but I've been pushing down slightly to seal the air path straight from bullet to glass so no air gaps like the PonG has (something I actually love about the PonG is its air gaps, cools the hits), and its a short vape path, but I think the glass doesnt continue heating quite like the PonG does, the extra heat/dryness seems to level out, and level 5 even stays more neutral tasting for longer i think, cooler and less hot plastic fishy taste i think? The glass appears to cool quicker between hits. But yeah, for me, dry hits were noticably nicer tasting I reckon, and tho initally hotter at lower temps, cooler across the higher temps as the glass cools quicker i guess. Im pretty pleased tbh. Longer glass stem would be cooler, but I usually only use the PnP with the WT or my bong (both with cotton filters) and would rather it kept a lower, less smashable profile :D

EDIT: The stem on this thing fits perfectly into the lip of a bullet, thru the WT, I went straight to level 4, tastes much nicer for sure than a hot PonG. Woohoo! Battered. EDIT ANOTHER: Sod it, level 5. Very noticably a nicer experience here. Quite surprised, the way the glass fits onto the bullet lip and makes a seal is pretty sexy and effective :)

The best hits I have got from the Pinnacle have been through a full size water pipe. You torch a whole bullet, but the hit will sit you down.

While the pinnacle water tool glass is durable and pocket-able. I am sure any other well made glass will provide just as much diffusion or more.

Start trying the pinnacle on every piece of glass you can find, you will be surprised how well it works mated.

Finally ordered the Pnp + 14mm/18mm glass adaptor + NEW single showerhead watertool for VB2 (downsized from the previous watertools for the VB2 with different percs, so just slightly bigger chamber than the original PnP watertool.)

Apparently it is not even listed on Vaporblunt's website. Got about 10 days wait before I can test it out. Can't wait :-)

Did they say that WT will fit the Pnp with the adapter?
