Great Scott!
I have 3 portables that dont produce like this one!! I was interested in the G1 since ive never even used a plug in.. Id love to have the extraction boost also but depends on how much more it would cost..considering i would have to buy glass also since all i have is a small bubbler and a pnwt.
Great video leina!

You are in for a ride. Usually the BEST portables can't even keep up with a decent desktop vape, so this should blow your mind.

Also you don't NEED glass. I plan on testing the PNWT with the versa. I already use it as a hydratube. You just need an 18mm female to 14mm male adapter and boom you can use the PNWT with the versa.

If you know anything about your bubbler, I can try to help make that work, assuming it is 14mm or 18mm glass at least.

Thanks darkroom..im sure it will be a game changer for me..Thats why i been following all the threads...looking for my next vape that I need to be impressed with....the bubbler is 14 mm also..so id need a 14 female to 18 mm male adapter im assuming? I use it with the ascent sometimes..

I know right Mister G...lol

You'd actually need the opposite adapter. The same one you'd need with the PNWT. The male end should be 14mm to fit into your 14mm bowl. The female end should be 18mm to accept the versa.

One adapter for both pieces. Not to shabby!

Another thing to bear in mind is the diameter of the Versa's body, you need your downstem far enough away from the pipe body for the heater to fit over the bowl. Also, the Versa bowl will add more height which may help for some pieces, I am banking on that fact for it to fit over my atomic recycler.

When everyone's Beta units arrive I expect this thread to go crazy with information sharing.

"Because until 3 days ago the Infinity couldnt produce these kinds of clouds without higher voltage, I think the feature should remain in the flagship line unit.
We didnt even burn the herb. Its impressive to say the least."

Are you saying that the design wasn't reaching enough temperature even if you go high in the dial ???

I guess there's something going on between airflow and thermal heat retention in the units... Maybe that's one of the flaws of all glass vapes without any kind of insulation.

If you go to almost combustion temps, will the units produce similar results as not priming it to reach same results??

For how long can you prime the unit without overheating it?? I'm guessing glass dissipates heat very easy...

¿¿¿¿¿¿Are we there yet??????????????

Comparing the VI-MKII to a portable... :lmao:

Sweet baby jesus the cases better arrive today.

How you know this unit is better than others if you never tried one???

Ok guys, let's not start comparisons when only the manufacturer team has tried units so far...

Lighting and proper techniques can make any clouds producing video from mostly any vape IMO. She's directly blowing vapor right under "that" special white light, fluorescents??? and they make sure the background was as dark as possible.

Listen , I'm not here to put down any effort or the product, but I'm not an easy guy to convince or bias unless I try it.

As well as a perfect marketing and customer support IMO can bias susceptible people to fanatize (is it a word???, sorry) products before even been launched to the market.
I hope all the effort Versa team is pouring into the product reflects on the final result.
I don't work or beta test for any company, but "paying" in advance for beta testing is not what I expected, I'll call this program, "a cheap early buyer/risker taker/early bird" etc etc

IMO by the time we "beta testers" get the product, Versa team will have done all the job already for us.
As another member said already, beta testing should be based on experience, videos posted on FC, amount of vapes proved to have by photos or videos.
Everybody is Einstein without a face on the internet, and web searchers and Wikipedia had created more Einsteins in few years than hands on experience. Other people use 0.01g of bud every other day or weekly, or never have a vape before, or they been stuck using one shitty vape forever.
So, yes, I agree, you don't beta test a Ferrari with a person learning to drive an automatic car, makes sense???

And yes, I'm between the first "9 beta testers" I believe, with all the rings and whistles of the package....

@Leiana was it possible to keep the all glass bowls fritted screens for flavor?? Both for hookah, flowers and concentrates??

¿¿¿¿¿Are we there yet???????????????

I appreciate healthy speculation. I am still a firm believer in the beta program because your units will still be slightly different than the release models. I hope waiting 4 weeks hasnt made anyone sour. I know waiting for a unit is a pain in the ass but please be patient with us. We have done most of our changes to improve your product and give you a better experience overall. I hope all that effort doesnt get twisted in the last moment. I look forward to everything going smoothly today. I wish you the best of happiness.

In regards to weither this vapor is truly thick or not, we have shown whispy vapor when the herb is spent on video many times using the same lighting equipment. If you thought the latest video was truly thicker than normal, you are correct, we dont do lighting tricks here. We milked that tube solid white, no light can make that better. I want to see a portable do that without e-juice. PM me a link if you find one, I'll be a buyer.

While it's true that lighting and background colors can make an impact on the visibility of vapor, to imply that background colors and lighting can make "mostly any vape" produce visible vapor in the thickness and quantity like what has been shown here is simply not true.

Other people use 0.01g of bud every other day or weekly, or never have a vape before, or they been stuck using one shitty vape forever.

I highly doubt that there are any long time members here who fit the above description.

Weren't you actually the one that only vapes at night only and a 0.01g bowl a day??
And an 1/8 oz, (3,5g) lasts you for 2 weeks or a month??? Maybe I'm wrong...

Similar to how absence makes the heart grow fonder, I think speculation on the Infinity is prone to grow fonder the longer we feel teased by these videos as the Beta release ship approaches. Seems a normal human phenomenon to me. I've expressed before the issue of raised expectations and can't wait to see what reality brings. If my hands on doesn't match what Versa has been building up in this thread the last couple weeks, I will be honest and say so and hope all "beta" early adopters will do the same. I'm sure there will be some who have a negative experience, that's life after all, YMMV.

For thoroughness and benchmarking, each Beta reporter should make an effort to describe their Vaping background experience as well as compare the Infinity to whatever list of devices they have experience with, for me that will be mostly the Pinnacle Pro and the Sublimator UFO.

Versa has been very open to WANTING negative feedback in the interest of continuous improvement, they've done nothing in this thread for me to believe that is a hollow intention, in fact, quite the opposite.

But you are right, everything is BS until I plug this thing in at home and see if I can get the results similar to that shown on these videos.

..Untill then I am enjoying the "high" of anticipation....:smug:

When I had my PD, I vaped over 2 times that amount every night. With my LSV, I am now vaping about 3 times that amount. I never have claimed that I only vape .01gr. a day.

Now granted, that's still a small amount, but when you put my usage in the same paragraph as the following:

"Everybody is Einstein without a face on the internet, and web searchers and Wikipedia had created more Einsteins in few years than hands on experience. Other people use 0.01g of bud every other day or weekly, or never have a vape before, or they been stuck using one shitty vape forever."

...it implies that because of my small usage, that for some reason, I am prone to "fantasize", as you put it, about what the Versa can do, couldn't be further from the truth. If anything, I am one of the most critical members here when it comes to new product about to hit the market. Hell, just ask the mods here about that. I've had my hands slapped more than just a few times for being too critical and jumping down manufacturers throats for putting out misleading and over-hyped claims or from the opposite end of the spectrum, for not being as forthright as far as keeping us well informed. I don't see Versa falling into either one of these camps.

lwien is one of the first members I came to respect when it came to vaporizers. His ability to keep his tolerance low is NOT an indication of anything other than IMO self control. When he switched from the PD to the LSV I was excited for him lol. Very good dude who tells it like it is from everything I've seen.

As for the "dont compare it to portables" I agree, no one has used it....however portables can't compete with desktops, unless the desktop has some kind of critical flaw. It is simply a matter of power. I have a number of portables, some hit REALLY hard (the pax comes to mind), but the bottom line is with an unlimited supply of electricity, it is a hell of a lot easier to put that power to good work.

I think its fair to say that ALMOST every desktop vape will have more power than any portable. I also think its fair to say that from the videos we have seen, this should output more vapor than something battery powered for example. I'm all for waiting until we try our beta units to give it full praise, but the one thing you can't deny and Leiana can't fake is that cloud formation. From nothing to milky really fast. This isn't a shifty scenario like those (hilarious) grasshopper videos, we see start to finish whatever we want with this vape, there is a relatively small beta launch BEFORE they even accept money for pre-orders, and we have Leiana here taking our suggestions and improving the product.

Shes just doing things right. Things are getting done correctly, and the level of transparency blows away all other things I've seen over the years of vape companies. I feel confident breaking my own no early adopting rule that I've established after getting screwed in the past. I have some good faith in this one, but really its just common sense. The videos and her presence here has been VERY informative. I feel like I see and understand everything, there is no mystery or blind trust really needed. The grasshopper is the polar opposite of what she is doing here, that one is all "trust us its awesome we just need to sell a ton before we can make it". The opposite method being used by versa here is the number one reason I was interested in this. I believe Leiana said they didn't even make money off the beta run, and I believe it too!

This is how you do a product launch, not sell them blindly on kickstarter, and I think the vaporists will respond favorably. I know I am.

Great post darkrom, I would have to whole heartedly agree with you especially your last 2 paragraphs.

Call me a fanatic, or being blinded by the hype or whatever was said earlier...don't care... like darkrom, I wouldn't typically jump on an early product, but the tone and presense in this thread just feel right to me, and my instinct never ever let's me down. I know Versa will be there for me.

First off in no way am i even comparing the infinity or ANY plug ins to a portable vaporizer. I am 1 year new to vaporizing instead of combusting and chose to use portables so i could move about freely. But I do love clouds and havent been satisfied with the portables.. I have been here on this site drooling over the clouds plug ins can provide..trying to decide if I want one..This and the price of the G1 makes it very tempting

My oh my, the claws are starting to come out, lol.

This would be one hell of a scam for a few grand. This entire thread has been a breath of fresh air instead of being to good to be true IMO. I will wait patiently for this unit to arrive for me to beta test ( fine the wife has me handcuffed until it arrives). I personally feel I got one hell of a bargin for what I paid as a beta. I don't like pre paying for something that is still in the works but I went with my gut here, these folks seem to be on top of it and want us to love this unit. I wouldn't give TET a dime before the Cera was in people's hands and tested and they have a long track record, they also made people wait months and months after taking their money. I still have had to send my Cera in for fixing on multiple occasions, maybe companies should do bigger beta tests in real world use for a discount.

Anyway if the entire thing is bunk I am out less then $200, I have had many dates that costs a lot more then that and got nothing out of it, shit I spent double that at the bar last night watching the SB. Now if this pans out to be what it appears to be then we have a huge winner with a company that wants to make it even better every chance they get.

I am certain that this unit is coming to many people who are fully capable of testing the it to its fullest. I admit I don't care for flower vapor so I will not be the person to look at for the best review but if you want to know how it does with oil I think I can put it through its paces. If amount matters as a judge then I am a good judge for the decedent since I do over a gram a day, not that that matter much since blowing a huge cloud is only getting the spiders and mice high. I also won't do pics or vids unless someone else posts them but I will tell you exactly what I think. However this thread is a great example of a company taking our opinion and implementing it, I feel if I find an issue and it is confirmed by others a fix will go into the works before it goes on sale. I like to dream though and it would be so nice if all the input from FC and from the good folks making this vape I hope we end up with a winner straight out of the gates.

Portables are great, I've got a few myself and love them. All I meant was prepare to be rocked...in a great way. I'd never say a bad word about portables, but I never find myself reaching for portables when I'm home. Desktops blow them away in sheer performance, but I can't throw a versa in my pocket to go on a hike. IMO you definitely want a home vape, and depending on the reviews of the beta this might become my #1 suggestion. Based solely on the videos and info I have seen of course. Its definitely the most interesting vape. No longer do I bother checking the herbalizer thread, I don't need to spent close to a grand on a vape to use halogen heating, this vape will let me add that eventually. That is amazing IMO for less than a 1/3 of the cost of the other.

I am supremely excited for this vape to come. I have or have owned a lot of "high end vapes" and still feel more excited about this one due to the modability and everything else. Not to mention no home vape I've owned does oil even nearly as well as a nail. From what I can see this is even better than the nail!

Versa is trying to appeal to the broadest client base possible. Everyone's opinion is going to count for something, as you have experienced, it already has!

There is no need for any kind of pissing contest about usage patterns or vape experience. Questions need to be answered for everyone. Were experienced users able to adapt easily to use it? Is it easy enough for new users to pick up and get the clouds they want? Do you need to be able to afford copious amounts of product? Do you need primo product or can it get the best out of the shittiest?

I am excited to put it through it's paces. I use all day every day oil and flowers. I am facing a constant battle to keep abdominal pain in control and the mental toll. I am excited to see how different strains vape with it compared to our other vapes. After that I am excited to see how much ABV I can pump out and the oil I am going to extract from that and put back in and vape some more :lol:

You gave me too much time to think lol

Oh for the record I am not keen on "whistles" it freaks the animals out, even just the videos of the Evo...
