Wow thats strange is anyone else just having a complete fail with using Google chrome with FC? Something with the new code I noticed a change overnight.

BTW this is the flowers video!
I love my job. I hope you guys have a happy weekend.

Trying to better understand what I see in this video and the use of the Boost (Beast?) Mode heat extraction. :hmm:

So in the first part of the video we see several pulls on a bowl with tons of vapor until the material turns from green to brownish. Then with the hand blocking the rear intake and using the Boost even more is extracted with pretty damn thick clouds all the way through, pre-boost and with boost.

Then in the second part we see the user put a plug into the rear intake from the very beginning using the heat Boost right at the start with a bowl of fresh material.

So I am guessing this shows how you can milk a bowl over several hits or then finish off with boost to get the very last out or you can use boost from the start and take fewer but much more fully extracted hits?

Please let me know if this accurately describes what this vid shows.

Please tell me the name of the case provider, I will fly out and drive the shipment to Versa myself. :ninja:

Can't wait to experiment with the Infinity, I hope it fits on the glass pieces I currently own.

And why boost and not just up the temp? I don't believe it would take more than a few secs with such heaters? Why is the boost so important? I don't get it…
I agree here.
IMO it just will help more with concentrates. Definitely if you restrict airflow intake you'll get a boost in temperature, helping in the concentrates case IMO, reaching that extra heat that will vaporize thoroughly and faster.

But again, why not up the temp?
Because the concentrates mode heater goes if I'm not wrong close to 720F, right??
Then is overlock mode I believe. I guess that's when boost mode comes handy IMO because some oils or waxes behave different at temps in taste and effect IMO.
I could be wrong.
I need to start beta testing to confirm my thoughts. Just rumbling and theorizing beforehand like everybody else here that don't have the unit yet :)

My guess is that it is much easier to spike up the temp by blocking the back then it would be by turning the dial and waiting for the heater, even if it were just a few seconds, the Boost method seems instantaneous and on demand, a more efficient and controllable way to achieve the desired result. This is speculation, I am getting anxious to confirm in person. This is better than xmas.

Edit - @Leiana replied below, I snuck in before her, but her explanation sounds similar to mine but much more accurate.

This vape looks absolutely amazing. I'm sold. Is it possible to get in now for $250 or wait only?
Yep. Send me an email at cs1@versavapor.com , Ill send you a link to get in on the Beta. We dont have many units we can do this with but we definitely need to raise about $1500 to pay for some hardware needed for the next month. We literally made no profit on the beta units! LMAO

Your description is accurate. Let me make it simple for everyone else. The Infinity now has 2 air paths, one is what we are used to using and the other creates a much higher heat concentration. This method creates a whistle when the effect activates.

And why boost and not just up the temp? I don't believe it would take more than a few secs with such heaters? Why is the boost so important? I don't get it…

The Infinity is our flagship model, built by nerds for people who want maximum control (nerdy folks as well usually). This new feature could add some serious vapor enthusiast value in the control department.

Why not just turn it up?

Turning up the heat works very well but its much slower and it takes even longer to cool the element after it heats. For those who just want a quick hyper-extraction to their current voltage level, use the boost. It uses ambient heated air to contact the first layer of the heat chamber and then the inner layer of the heating element. The first air path uses fresh air from the rear. Each air path is optimized for different uses obviously.

I guess Ill make a diagram for you guys, its the least I could do while I'm making you wait.... sorry about that. :(

Uggg... why have I not been in this thread before? Fucking epic and Im sad I missed out on the beta testing and subsequent preorder. :( Looks like ive got more detailed reading to do too!

BTW we have the incycle perc thing in one of the designs already. We picked that up from our meetings at Champs. Ill show you when we get the sample.

You just sold me. Are there pics (sorry if I missed them) of said incycler piece or better yet a video of it yet?

I have a question, not necessarily for you Leiana. The vid above shows a pouch of tobacco in the background leaning up against the hooka. Now I don't know if it was tobacco or cannabis that was vaped in the Versa, but if it was tobacco, can we expect the same kind of cloud production from cannabis?

This question isn't just about the Versa, I guess, but any vape.

I think maybe they filmed the hookah video at the same time as this one?

I believe the reason its in the background because I asked for a video of hookah production with shisha, the other videos were not done with it.

I'm kinda speechless too... I thought it couldn't get any better, but I was wrong. That looks like SMOKE!!! But I know it isn't...I just don't ever think i've seen clouds that big out of any vaporizer videos i've seen.

I also don't think that was tobacco in the bowl. I just can't believe the cloudage and it didn't even char the contents at all!

Wow I sure was sleeping on this thread. I remember viewing the first page and haven't really looked back until now. It is looking very impressive so far. I have a lot of reading to do, but those videos are sure making some eyes pop out of heads. I'm not in the market, but I like the price point and will definitely be following this thread now.

WOW...
I thought the same thing but its definitely vapor and it tastes good too. I've seen a few vaporizers make clouds similar to our vapes but they cost alot more than our units as well.
According to our efforts, having a vape that makes huge clouds wont be so much of the issue anymore. The most important choice is, which vape is best for my usage & budget.
(More importantly how do you feel about the company itself. Do they care about your happiness?)

We dont use any dry tobacco in any of our videos. Most of our personnel have MMJ Cards oddly enough. :leaf:  I've never seen it used with dry tobacco but that doesnt mean it isnt marketed that way.

You didnt miss out on the ordering in total. We have some units that will be available after the beta units are sent. We have 13 units available beyond the ones already bought. They are $249 each. That comes with hookah, concentrates, and flower adapters.

I truly am happy to see this vape shaping up and the community starting to enjoy it. Let me know what kind of things you would like to see in videos or anything you want us to explain a little better about the process.

Lets talk about the G1

To those of you interested in the lower priced G1. Do you think that the G1 should have this eXtraction boost air path and if so would you be comfortable with a higher price because of it?

How much of a price increase?
Thats hard to say because it would be based on my own speculation.
In my opinion....
I love the feature. I think that it adds so much value to the MKii that I dont think we could add it to the G1 without taking serious value from the MKii.

Because until 3 days ago the Infinity couldnt produce these kinds of clouds without higher voltage, I think the feature should remain in the flagship line unit.
We didnt even burn the herb. Its impressive to say the least.

I know for a fact the G1 can make huge clouds, we see it possible in every single video we have posted. It might just take a little more warm up time or some added voltage to do it but you'll have it.

I also think its about time the G1 got its own forum thread!

Good to know, Leiana. Thanks and here's a VERY high five to ya. Those clouds were amazing.
Thanks!!!! I hope you have some water tools you can use for your unit.

Can the heater 'boost' be engaged at any voltage/temp level for max extraction at that level? I'm also curious about the temperature difference when 'boost' is in play. Or is it rather a question of the same temp heat near-instantly applied, albeit differently, through alternate channeling and/or concentration of that heat? Whatever the dynamic, I don't think we've seen it used before in vapor production, at least not in this way. I'm feeling Versa is a next-gen front runner in the vape scene!

Short answer: YES.
The alternate air path significantly improves efficiency of the heat actually applied from the heating element. When we say the heating element is very high performance, you'll see its true colors when you initialize eXtraction. I've been using my beta unit every day since I got it and honestly I am becoming addicted to the amount of instantaneous temperature control it gives you.

You can begin a session using a voltage you know is perfect for activated vapor. Once you begin to draw on the herb and it begins to vaporize white clouds you can apply eXtraction and allow your herb to have some more concentrated air to get even thicker clouds. You must find your sweet spot because you can light the herb if you have the voltage too high. Once you

do ind that sweet spot, you'll never burn the herb and youll get maximum efficiency. Currently mine is about 75v. When I'm feeling crazy its about 81.

You will have to experiment with how you like to use this function. There are so many ways to utilized it that I am currently exploring.

btw, been spreading some Versa love over at GC. Hope ya don't mind.
We saw that and greatly appreciate it. We need some marketing assistance on our unit for sure. Thank you so much!

Monday!

My Infinity Beta Unit. I cant wait till we all get the new opaque glass colors.

EDIT: In the video in my signature you can see me using 86V actually so I suppose that voltage works very well for short journeys as well.

It is like you said Leiana, on one hand you have another clear diferentiator between the G1 and the MKII besides the interchangeable heating elements, on the other hand the feature could add tremendous value to the G1 as well and set it apart even further from the current models from other companies at the same price range.

From a buyers point of view, and taking your word that the Boost Mode is so game changing, i would love to have the Boost in the G1 unit with the slightest price increase possible.

From a manufacturers point of view, and a market strategy point of view, i think it might bring more advantages to keep it separate. We are not talking about diminished performance in one of the units, but an added feature, so it would clearly differentiate the units which would be reflected on the prices that have a ~100USD gap at the moment.

I have 3 portables that dont produce like this one!! I was interested in the G1 since ive never even used a plug in.. Id love to have the extraction boost also but depends on how much more it would cost..considering i would have to buy glass also since all i have is a small bubbler and a pnwt.
Great video leina!
