Perhaps I've not had enough coffee, but I am having a tough time understanding how this thing works. EV-2 on the bent stem and the straight stem stays open? Seems like that would lessen rather than increase the cloud. What am I missing?

I am confused as well, is it meant like a carb? I saw this thing in another video and the guy had a stopper in the second opening, maybe so you don't have to raise the whole EV-2/GonG essemble to clear? Just guessing here.

Exactly, another plus is more volume if you use smaller pieces and you can gauge your draw much easier IMO. Also think multiple vape setups!!! @TheDudeNextDoor EV-2 in straight and I either use a stopper or my pnp in bent part.

A stopper,
The EV2 goes in the straight, a stopper in the bent piece. Lift stopper to clear glass and replace stopper to hit again. No more stuck GonG with your lungs full, the stopper has virtually no weight so less chance of sticking.
I also use mine inverted and have a screen installed to stop any unwanted debris from my vape. Gives me a few inches of clearance to cool vapor off a bit and another piece of glass I can reclaim.
So Andy's %50 sale is still on? I see he is still advertising it but I couldn't get the discount to apply.

Strange, Tyrone and I had the same Issue, was resolved with a mail to Andy, suddenly the code worked again. I'd say just drop him a line that the issue came up again. I remember reading somewhere that he's selling off all the EV-2's so my guess would be the discount goes till the last EV-2 is sold. I could be wrong though.

I've been using my EV-2 for a little over a week and this thing kicks ass.
I tried the direct draw and wasn't a huge fan cause I couldn't seem to get past a tan abv and it wasn't very consistent. I think it has something to do with the bowl being inverted so the herb naturally unpacks itself ... when using it through water the bowl is right side up so the herb naturally packs itself while hitting it. IMO the more tightly packed and finely ground the herb, while maintaining good air flow, the better the vapor production and even the roast. I also like that I don't need to use a top hat screen on the wpa because it is right side up ... makes stirring and just everything way easier.
I locked in the dial on my unit at about a 1/4 of a turn back from full on but use boost mode if I want a high temp session or if I have dropped a chunk of wax on top of the bowl. This guy white walls my 65mm diameter bubbler almost instantly and when I have it turned on to "on" the flavor sticks around for a couple of beautifully fat rips.
I'll get up a milk shot video at some point.

I have to say the whip attachment works pretty good for me, as does the direct draw piece.
When using the whip I do stir every 3 or so draws, to me the result is even better than what I got with my DBV (odd thing is, the direct draw piece seems to work better with the Buddha).
Tried a j-hook & GonG combo as direct draw yesterday, quite nice. The bend makes it way harder to inhale smaller particles, while the longer path results in a smoother hit. Looks weird but works pretty well.

I own a DBV now and was considering on getting a arizer solo so i had a good portable but now with the ev2 being 50% off im torn lol i really want this thing.
Will it preform as well as my dbv if not better?
I really would jus be getting it for direct draw use since i already have my whip style vape, would this affect performance?
And can any one comment if they think the solo can compete with its vapor quality?

Either the EV2 or the E-Nano are great man, apparently the E-Nano is much better for big hits/clouds, as an owner of one, I can vouch for this!
