One of my other "favorite" misuses. :)

I think your/you're is probably the biggest culprit I see misused on a daily basis. The saddest part is how often words are misused or misspelled on supposed "journalistic" sites that should know better or are too lazy or stupid to check their own work.

Fuck!! Enough of this rant...hope we get an update on the GH soon...:nod:

Wow. I never knew that, and I do things like listen to podcasts on language FOR FUN. (Yup. I'm that warped.)

But I guess there is a first time one comes across any fact. Thanks!

I think you're overlooking my most hated misuse: "loose" instead of "lose." I even see "looser" occasionally, although mysteriously people who add an extra "o" to "lose" often known how to spell "loser".

By the way, I think you meant "daily." :cool:

Sorry for not being around more. We've just all gone into laser focus mode to get this thing done. Our job has gone from getting all of you to support us, to just getting it done! I can't be more excited to be working on this everyday. I am sure you understand.

I just posted this over on our indiegogo page's comments and thought I would zip over here and post as well. First, I want to say thank you to everyone who participates here, helping answer people's questions for us and keeping a lively discussion. I would honestly get 100s more emails a day if it wasn't for all of you!

"A quick little update for you on here. First, we’ve refrained from doing update for a little while, as we don't want to spam people with too much of the little stuff. We've been making great progress, but are waiting to hear back from a few of our manufactures before giving a large update on where the project stands. As soon as we know, we’ll be passing that information on to you.

The Backer’s site is coming soon! I know we missed the target on this a few weeks ago but we encountered some difficulties importing everyone’s data. We want to make sure that your order is reflected accurately. We’ve worked with indiegogo to solve this problem and we’re close to a launch. Thanks so much for the great support you all have given us. I'll be sure to get on here, in the comments, to spread a little more news around."

Backers for the past three weeks- what's going on?? Why no updates??
Trevor- "We don't want want to spam people".

Im hearing that some parts of it is brass, is that correct? If you are doing it so it doesn't reek the dry herbs, does it work for sure(even packing .2 -.3 grams)? Another thing, you should put ink pen in the mouthpiece as a door or something. so that way no one suspect a thing about a big pen you are using that works. The ink doesnt have to be long as the originals in stores.

baconator420 if you go to youtube and type "grasshopper vaporizer" you will find a few videos about the grasshopper. Also if you go to http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/grasshopper-vaporizer you will then have all of the information that anyone has regarding the Grasshopper. Based on the information at indigogo they raised over $350,000 to allow them to build it. Meanwhile we wait with worms in our mouths for the product to become a reality (or not).

Someone on from reddit got word from Trevor that the company is hoping for retail sales by the end of February, leading me to believe that the vape is well on it's way to completion. I'm hoping IndieGoGo backers receive their devices a week before retail sales, meaning we can start looking for the vape from the 21st of this month onward. :rockon:

If they're able to meet their initial deadline of February with a finished and working product, I'll be more than pleased. :cheers:

Just wanted to provide everyone with the most recent update I got from them via email. Trevor states they are hoping for the end of February for retail sales. Looks like a February release may not happen too soon, so just hope it doesn't mean it will be pushed to March...

So are they missing their mark for us the backers and are shooting for retail only now? Spam us? How would they get that idea? These statements seem a tad vague on some parts but then again I just realized this topic was still alive and going strong lol

No, I believe the backers will still get their 'Hoppers first. Retail sales will most likely start soon after the backers receive theirs.

I'm going to be very pleased if I get my Grasshopper by late February (before retail sales, of course :brow:)

***EDIT*** well as everyone here expected.... there will be a delay and Feb. is not going to happen. just got an email update from the campaign and i am sure most of you should have too. so i will not copy and paste and take up more space (unless i am requested to)

**UPDATE: Shipment has been moved to April**

Emailed Trevor again stating it had been 10 days since he said we would get an update. I made it clear I was disappointed, and harped on them for not being able to keep the people they took 300k from, in the loop.

2 Hrs later we get this:
