What Was Your Very First Vaporizer That You Owned.....

My first vape was built be me in the mid 90s when I was about 15. I used a box, a soldering iron, a mason jar, and a steel socket for the bowl. It actually "worked" (100% conduction), but tasted so awful I abondoned the concept of vaporizing entirely! Clearly it wasn't a fair assessment of the concept as my materials were rubbish, my research was laughable, and my herbs were shwag.

Fast forward about 14 years and I rediscovered vaping by way of the MFLB, my first vape purchase. I rarely use it anymore but will love it forever

Now that brings me back. My first was very similar except I used a wide mouth 40 bottle, a soldering iron and a metal bowl head. I agree that it "worked", everyone definitely got very high but it was more of a novelty for us. My first real vaporizer was the vaporite solo which is a vapor brothers knock off that I traded an extra scale for.

Hot Box. Yeah, it sounds like a derogatory comment hurled at a sexually active female, but its a whip vaporizer shaped like a ceramic box. It has a fixed heating element. It took me awhile to figure out how to use it correctly, mostly because I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but once I got the hang of it, I started searching for other vapor tools. Its been a stoney journey ever since. May the Journey never end!!!

mine was a crappy BC vape knock off from around the year 2002. made me think vapor was a bunch of BS... then in 2007/8 (i think), i bought a used vapor brothers whip style vape. but still didn't convert. sold it when going to college. then bought a volcano (still got it) and maybe a year after that a mflb... this was blast off for me.

been a vapor enthusiast ever since... what a ride its been (looking down at my herbie while i type this...)

First exposure - a buddy's Vriptech w/heat gun in 2002 - opened my eyes to taste and reclaim worth getting excited about. Hanging out in the garage was epic.
Since then I've always had a roommate with an easy vape, v-tower, or vaporlite - kind of lame but still efficient and I always got ripped with some patience. None of the cheap ones I used ever had problems - maybe I'm in the minority. Of those, V-Tower was my fave only because of the upright design. Not sure why it's $100 more for a different box form factor.
At 5:30 today - scored a new sealed SSV standard glass on ebay for $60 and my d020 bubbler from DHgate/Sunshinestore just "shipped" ... heaven is just weeks away for under $100!! Thanks FC!! :spliff:

First vape I ever owned/tried was the VG... Bought it in August 2011.
I thought it was pretty cool and enjoyed the different type of high, then I got an MFLB the next month.
At first I didn't like the LB that much (I think because I happened to be in an unusually down mood the day it arrived, vaping in that mindstate was bound to be a lacklustre experience) but I came back to it in around March 2012 and it became the thing I used the most that year, it got me very high many many times. Still used the VG every now and then though.

I (almost by accident) stopped consuming dat botannical indefinitely in late 2012, so about 6 months after I 'quit', I gave both those portable vapes to my younger brother after figuring out that he had started smoking herb.

Just got Da Buddha a few days ago and it looks like it will be on a whole different level to anything I've tried before. I haven't gotten high in 14 months (somehow) but am really looking forward to starting again soon - unfortunately there's been too much bullshit going on the last couple of months which has lead me to repeatedly postpone the festivities (by festivities I mean me, by myself, getting high as fuck)... right now I think I'll be in the right frame of mind to give it a go in 2-3 weeks hopefully.

DaVinci Ascent was my first, only had to replace it once, and the company sent me a new one. Still working great. I have an epic vape e-nano on order though, as well as an omicron mini. Super excited to see how those stack up.

First was a VaporStar...hated it! Found FC community and read LOTS, then bought a DBV for vape #2. Have a Solo now that leaves me wanting for nothing, but I haven't tried a lot of vapes so my experience is probably limited...but my knowledge base is HUGE thanks to the community! If you take the time to read the reviews on here, you will find what will suit you the best:)

A friend of mine showed me his MFLB at a party. Instead of buying one straight out, I did some research, and the PAX really caught my eye. Doing searches on the PAX lead me here, and I ended up ordering one based on the info and recommendations of that thread on this site.

I've smoked exactly one time since then, and don't plan on ever doing it again.

First vaporizer i tried was the Volcano, 1 year later after some research on this forum i purchased the Solo.
I like the Solo much more compared to the Volcano! Just add some tweaks to the Solo like a GonG adapter, attach it to a bubbler and before you know it you have a really nice water vaporizer setup for a great pice!
