i remember 2 years ago i had some northern lights that were pebbles, some gdp that was like rocks you add with cement, and some gsc around 3 weeks ago that was so prettyy and mintyyy, wish i had more of those gdp and gsc. also does breaking it up by hand help with flavor other vapes like the PnP? i find it gets a bit too harsh at times.

I love GSC and GDP!
Very good strains.
I'm just busting your balls!
Grind if you like it!
I have ground my flower for over 2 years however one turn is all I do these days.
I chase flavor and manage to get a powerful effect even with a blue vapor. I learned that sometimes with a whole flower nugget it last longer and full of flavor!

What ever you like?

My Solo keeps shutting off when heating. It has a full battery. Anyone know what the problem is? The unit is only 3 months old.

You cloud chasers!
Cool go for the thick white clouds.
For me I'm into the blue clouds.
NIRVANA!
I grind sometimes.
Whole flower nuggets lightly broken for me is complete sweet flavor!
Courser the better.
Big clouds means I'm getting a lot at once! I need it like that most of the time, as temp cannabinoids aren't what I'm after!

I think I will do a whole nugget now, thanks for the inspiration @ataxian

Also I was rummaging through some stuff in my closet and found this awesome little pouch! No brand or anything and it's just a pouch with no protection, but it fits my stuff nicely :D

Where can I get the black pad in your photo?
Is that the new solo model?
I get my 3rd one next week!
GPD will be on the menu!

The one that my bubbler is sitting on? At Walmart by the coffee machines.

Edit: @ataxian no it's not the new model. I'm assuming you're on mobile because my sig lists my model as M1B1.

Also achieving better results now with the pvhes gong. @OF honestly I didn't think I would have noticed the extra airflow thinning the vapor. It totally makes sense too. Only thing is that for straight milky hits I have to use my straight stem with the reducer. That pulls some ridiculous clouds. The pvhes I have to bump up one more step/level to get similar performance. Now, I'm finishing on 7 when I was using 6 before.

@OF am I imagining things when I say I think I can draw longer with less drop in vapor and less heater fatigue with a pvhes?

Hi,

I have a question regarding the arizer solo m1a4 model.

What temperature is your load boiling when set to temperature 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7.

So i want to know what temp it is when in use, it clearly is noted on my solo unit M1A4.

This is what i read on vaporpedia but i am not sure which model mine is and what temp it gives.

Level Spec Temp Measured Temp M104 Measured Temp M105
1 122°F ( 50°C) 40°C 40°C
2 365°F (185°C) 170°C 150°C
3 374°F (190°C) 183°C 163°C
4 383°F (195°C) 195°C 175°C
5 392°F (200°C) 205°C 185°C
6 401°F (205°C) 220°C 200°C
7 410°F (210°C) 235°C 220°C

M105 was the only model Arizer made that had the 2nd temp profiles ... they readjusted to original temps by M106

just got my blackwood eds stem and im in love to anyone who wants to make their solo more portable get one of eds stems they rock and make the solo a lot more stealthy imo the glass tubes are a dead giveaway to me

i got 3 12 min sessions all on 7 from a small nug you could fill a stem and be good to go for most of the day if only light vaping

Check the sticker on the bottom and see if it's from the M1C1 lot. If so, these have a history of problems with the heating unit. See my post on this yesterday, as well as several others on this thread. Your best bet would be to return it and request one from a different lot number. I have returned two M1C1's to Aroma-Tek for exactly the problem you describe and am waiting for one from their new shipment. Good luck.

I have one of the first Solos purchased from K.J. Rockwise, but his website is down and last he has been on here was in 2012. Any ideas what I should do to get it serviced? Do they offer any service to fix broken units? It works, but the sound does not work anymore and the battery obviously does not last as long as it used to. It's been a solid unit with daily use since purchase and no issues where it has not vaporized product, but It's seen it's share of dings and I would like to know if I can get it fixed because it has lots of character.

Replace the battery pack or have some one do it for you.
However maybe it's time for a new unit?

$25 to fix it yourself.

This forum post if pretty huge. Has anyone posted how to change the batter instructions online? Do you know what the warranty is if the sound stopped working?

Are you sure you didn't turn the sound off? Not to be insulting, just asking?

And I agree with Zymos, just email Arizer (service@arizer.com). As long as you have proof of purchase, they should be able to help.

yes. The sound beeps when I turn it on, but when it turns itself off does not beep.

Then it can't be a hardware problem (the beeper does work sometimes) and it's almost certainly not a program/processor issue since it work sort of otherwise.

However, that's what I'd expect from a bad battery. That is heating demands cause the battery to take a dive and force the shutdown (which without power will be silent).

If you shut it off manually I assume it beeps then? You don't have a PA available?

Trading batteries is simple if you have the replacement battery. But building the pack is not trivial. At the least you'll have to deal with the connector (which is 'backwards' from standard). The battery pack Ataxian shows above was too long for me, I had to strip the jacket off, and it needs a connector (meaning soldering).

I'd attack the battery first, I doubt the second problem will still be there?

^^Gotcha...that should be covered. Contact Arizer, I just went through the warranty process. Will cost you shipping to the facility and back, but they will probably replace the unit with a newer one.

Worth a try, of course, but if the seller hasn't been seen/heard from for a couple of years I suspect time has run out?

"OF" this battery pack took a bit of Mac Givering!

For over one year this SOLO is still functioning well.
However I would just buy a new one if I had to do it over.

"Time is money"!
