Satisifed customers have no reason to post. You read a few posts about a few mistakes. the vast majority are silently vaping in content. I support the xp 100%. no problems here

I'm glad to hear that. I've been waiting a long time and the XP was always my first choice for a portable.

Can someone give me an approximate battery life of the latest batch? Pretty Please?

Hate to report that after just a few months my replacement of my replacement of my replacement XP is going down hill.. The heating light wont stay lit when the XP is on, have to tap it a bit or move dial positions to get it to heat back up/blinking light.

Charge light has trouble coming/staying on also.. Have to turn the knob to on then off just to get a charge.

I'll be looking into gettin a replacement, has service by inhalater improved yet?? I will probably send it out after SuperBOWL weekend.

Hey inhalater I recieved my unit today and am pleased with it so far but I have a couple questions. What are the white tubes that come in the box used for? and also there was a number on the bottom of my unit that was taped on it. Would it be okay to remove the number? Or is that my units serial number?

If I may be so bold as to address the tubes...
The white tubes (like cocktail straws) are safe tools to clean the capsules with.
When done cleaning and the capsule's insides appear clean, I go further, and do a "once around" inside the capsule while sucking on that little tube.
If it is a bigger tube you speak of, it is an extended mouthpiece.

I got a question last night, from @vaplen about the potential of using oils wrapped in cotton as in this post;

After reviewing the concept, I decided that the only thing that may go wrong would be if the polymide reacted to the BHO.

I don't know what you all getting from this vid but it looks nothing has changed since I tried the XP for the last time... Very hot vapor that makes you cough a lot, plenty of conduction heating going on (white clouds at the beginning of a draw and fast thining after that), a heater that cannot keep up even with very slow draws...

@natural farmer , out of all the people not in favor of the Inhalater XP, I definitely value your opinion the most. I know you have tried it and several other vaporizers, which gives you well rounded experience to make such claims. However, I don't know if all of those conclusions can be drawn from the video. We don't know the reason for his coughing, nor do we know his draw speed.

Personally, I have used my XP on several friends glass pieces and have never seen the heat have trouble keeping up (the light never flickers when we hit it). The only time I see the light flicker and the heat unable to keep up, is when my inhalater is low on battery... Which makes me wonder...

So lets phrase it this way: As far as portable, somewhat stealthy, electronic, one-handed vaporizers go, which would you argue are equal to or better than the XP?

I love my XP a ton, which makes me think either you've just had a bad experience with your model / customer service or that I need to expand my vape horizons

I'd love to give some others a try as my portable experience is pretty limited. I will say that I completely hated the Pax that I tried and I'm not really a fan of lighter based vapes, but aside from that I'm open to suggestions if you have any.

If you look back to my posts in this thread as well as the 004's thread, you'll see that I used to love the original and that I really wanted the XP to be an overall better vape. I was one of the people that suggested @Inhalater should try flatter heating coils so there are no hot spots in the heating chamber and they actually did it. In theory that should work but in reality the unit lost it's ability to adequately heat the air before it enters the load in the capsule and now it works like most other conduction vapes. I have made some pretty convincing arguments in the past and there was none to prove me wrong back then, concerning the way the XP produced vapor... With a little search you can find those posts.
Then the QC issues came up and everything went to hell. Now it seems they are starting to solve some of their issues but it's still too early to say... If those damn replacements finally make it to my bro after all those months and I get to test the latest iteration I would be happy to find that my opinion about gen 0, gen 1, gen 2 and gen 3 pieces was wrong. But from the video I didn't see anything close. It's fairly obvious our friend draws very slowly and the vapor is thinning out after every initial draw. I remember it was one of the things that I didn't like as well, the fact that even through a bubbler or a small bong like the vid's the vapor still irritated my throat. From my experience, I blame conduction vapor for this... For sure different people with different background will have different experiences but since I have already given my money to Inhalater I feel I can express my opinion as well.

Now what would be a good alternative to the XP?
I honestly don't know as it has many pros compared to similar vapes but some serious drawbacks as well... Maybe the Indica proves better... I am pretty sure the Grasshopper will be light years ahead! But GH is supposed to be convection and I am all about that now after my troubles with conduction vapes. Many people nevertheless seem to be happy enough with PAX's, DaVinci's, PNP's, Indica's and the like so why not with the XP? They are very similar in philosophy, just too expensive for what they offer when there are already similarly priced convection units in the market! So if people like the XP, who am I to say otherwise? It's just my take on this... If you feel something is missing though, go get a Firefly or a GH if it comes out ok... It's a whole different game imo!

EDIT: Sorry bro, I seem to have forgotten the Firewood! A nice convection choice as well if you don't mind pressing that power button for nearly a minute before the first draw.

the lotus produces really nice vapor but because it is full convection need a longer draw plus you need a torch lighter so you cant really use it in public and even inside the lighter can be heard really easily in the middle of the night...so the inhalater for me wins in portability and stealthness...after the short experience i got with vaporizers i found out also that i like the irritation that conduction gives to the lungs some times..some times i am actually seeking for it...so for me the inhalater untill now is the perfect balance between conduction and convection...and especially if u drill two wholes (the aerospacer capsuels everyone is talking) u can actually draw pretty hand and have the light not blinking at all + really nice tasty,dense and cool vapor,i hope they dont make the aerospacer capsules more expensive cause i will buy regural ones and just drill the holes with a red hot needle like i did already...

anyway big ups to inhalater for customer service lately i placed an order for 24 capsules and had awesome communication!soon i am going to send my inhalater for upgrade i just have to find some time off work in the morning...

the XP is an awesome machine and i really would consider buying a back up XP because it feels like there are not much things that can replace...

I have been testing this with cherry shisha tobacco. Awesome clouds, velvet tasting vapours, relaxing slightly narcotic high - I think is great. Been using 3-5 and automatic wich is darn pretty close for this.

No wonder people cough when the unit is maxed out. From Inhalater word it runs at 250Celsius wich is technically over combustion point. go figure.

I see it that at these high tempereature vapour concentration is just too high not to irritate throat so by mixing it with air you make things perfect. The trick is to have some adjustability because you want to adjust this on the fly. Take a look a the design I sold to Inhalater

My XP was charged full when I made that video. @hiphiphooray and @natural farmer if you look at the end of the video I hit it normal(without the water tube) and the light doesn't blink at all. Remember that I turned it on at the beginning of the video so it needed some time to heat soak.

this looks really nice...increasing the cool air flow by twisting the silicon tube i suppose in a way similar to how u increase the temperature from the bottom...

Yes definitively, It's great to play around and adjust. You can really feel the vapour temperature come down as you open up the air. And the taste changes too
