I like the "why" is silent but it says nothing about the virtues of the product....which is why I'm looking to switch it out. "next level" is good...would like it to beg the questions...why?

I was sent a Jyarz by sasNW, it arrived today! Thanks to him and a great product, you now have another new customer! Will be ordering several when the new larger size comes out. Thanks again to sasNW! That "pay it forward" kind of spirit, weather it be product or knowledge, is what makes this forum, and to a large part, this community, one I am proud to be a part of!

You were nice enough to send me 9 jyarz for $13! Knowing how much love and effort you put into them I feel it's necessary to help get the word out. My father owns a small business so I know how important word of mouth can be.
Keep that beautiful made in USA stamp on the bottom and those great handwritten notes in the orders and I don't see how you could fail. So far 5 of 6 people I gave them too said straight up "I will be buying these now" so your product really speaks for itself.
And this is me without my medical card... I'm renewing it Saturday so just wait till I get to talk these up in all the shops

Take a couple of Jyarz to the dispensaries... ask "can I have my purchase in these, as they are all glass, smell proof, and easy to stash in the trunk?" as you pull out an array of lovely Jyarz.
Toss the business card for Jyarz on the counter.
I'm actually working on a plan that will demonstrate why using a system of JyARz is cheaper for dispensaries than those 'top shelf" glass containers (the ones with the glass top and a plastic pressure fit gasket to "seal" the contents.
In the JyARz model, the customer would purchase the first 1/8 in a JyAR. Then each time they come back in the customer hands the bud-tender the empty glass core and pops a new, freshly filled one into his/her JyAR.
Zero trash, the dispensary owner doesn't have to keep buying tons more glass. I haven't figured it all out yet but once we spin up the new sizes I'm hell bent to figure it out so that I have a good economic/environmental story to tell.
What do you all think?

I uh, actually already do this. I just take my own little mason jar and have them put it in there instead of a baggie/container, and then they put that in my paper bag and staple it shut
the paper bags are good for packing when they're crumpled up

I have a source of good oils, and all I have to do is bring back my silicon tub... but, no. It's always either at home, or in the trunk of the car!
I would just take empties, show them off, offer a business card, then I'd just have them fill my jyarz and pop them into the usual paper sack they staple shut. Talk up how great they are. Every dispensary I go to has other items (accessories) they also sell.

I like the idea, I've definitely been given some interesting containers trying to brand the shop. Jyarz would definitely work nicely for the loyal customers, and look much better. Plus zero waste is obviously huge. I say you definitely give it a shot. Plus like Enchantre said they all sell accessories and what not too

Nothing planned at this point. The first of these sales was purely for promotional purposes to help spread the word and the second (earlier this month) was largely as a way to try to thank our loyal customers and followers. As JyARz grows bigger it actually gets harder to do sales like these because the cost is greater. I'll try to continue to do them but they will likely be less frequent.
We'll give it a go eventually. I haven't spent much time selling to dispensary shops but there are some good/large ones nearby and when we have a more complete product line I'll pick up that side of the sales effort.

One of the things I really appreciate about it is that it's glass and I believe I got a silicone gasket (solid puck), I can keep the mostly glass/safe inert gasket in my pocket. Pretty appealing from a medical aspect. Just highdeas but I wonder what my pharmacist would say if I handed her one of the big containers and told her to put the "good pills" I get in there instead of the plastic bottles? I wonder if they would actually do it and tape the printout on the side? I cleaned my room yesterday and threw away, I kid you not, 12 bottles. I'd almost try it just to see less of those damn orange things...

I'd rather have my own glass core refilled... Who knows if the one you get has been cleaned properly.
We'd have to incorporate a child-proof cap. Not impossible but not a near-term viability. I love the thought though.
Good point. Maybe this is a flaw in the economics of my plan...washing facilities!

that I use to carry ground herb with me… Why would I want a JyARz instead? How does it compare to size (anyone have both to take a shot?)? How much ground stuff can they hold. My SC holds about 2 gr of non packed herb which lasts me for a few days. If I wanna pack for more days I just press it harder and can fit about 8-10 gr in there. Has anyone tried pressed ground herb in the JyARz? How much would it hold?

the jyarz are about the size of your thumb, for a volume comparison. There are a couple of things about them that required me to change my routine, but I love them.
