I ordered a reclaim catcher that shows up today. I look forward to using the versa into that directly. The shorter tube makes that much easier. Pretty stoked that it was that easy to change that.

I am more anxious than any vape I've waited on in a long long time for this thing. Its the first desktop vape that makes me truly think the nail is outdated.

Is it possible to keep the concentrate tray in the glass frit side as the first bho video??
I think I saw a SS screen where the wax was placed, is that right??
Just trying to keep the all glass flavor/taste profile.

@Leiana. Your explanation of rheostat certainly makes sense. I didn't realize how efficient the heater was. I like the idea of keeping the price down. More green in my wallet and in my stash! You rock!

For the $32 I paid its not worth it. Low quality glass. It was supposed to be a claim catcher, a glass nail, and a dome. I got the catcher and the dome, and I can't even use it with my TI nail :( Gotta send an email. Either way I doubt that you guys would like this claim catcher. Good luck finding a better one.

EDIT: well they are sending me out a nail. Fast service at least. I mean for $32 its not terrible, but its not a high quality claim catcher if thats what your after I'd guess it'll be $50+ and not come with a cheap nail and dome. I just wanted function for now. I can't afford to drop much on extra glass right now. It certainly looks like it'll work well enough for me, but I might need an 18mm female to female adapter to use it with the versa.

I love how fast you guys respond to feedback, but one thing I worry about is making changes people suggest based on videos rather than first person experience. I know you guys really seem to know what you're doing, but there is no substitute for hands-on and I'd hate for people to say, "I know I told you to change X, but now that I have it in my hands, I see you guys were right about it."

Then again, you guys are so fast, I'm sure you can switch back just as quick, but you do have to draw a line in the design sand at some point.

Eh, actually minor issues.

Here's my two cents on the concentrate long thingy,
1 Make it short,
2 Solve dripping issue with a "drip lip" a raised, conical ring of glass that protrudes upwards towards where the concentrate is placed.
Think of it like the gutters on the side of you house.
Heres a side view and a top view of what i was picturing.

WOAH. I am completely enamored with your amazing idea. You deserve credit for being 100% genius. I'll see if I can implement that on the adapters. We are having them remade tomorrow, I will make sure this gets on the sketch before we get them changed for good. If this goes through @thesoloman will be badged as the creator of the reclaim pool on every retailers product page for the adapter. Item described - "soloman reclaim pool"

This kind of stuff is why we love FuckCombustion.com . An open-source vaporizer can only exist on a platform like this.

This design might just change the way we reclaim oils on water tool vaporizers forever!

I may seem crazy but I'm sure I am not the only one excited about this. The vaporizing revolution must show their worth to people coming from dabbing as well, just like when the flower vaping revolution came.

I feel quite honored that i may have a vaporizer part named after me!
On optional addition to my design could be a downspout/port that the oil would to drain into, which could then have a screw opening like a small glass vile would.
Try and imagine this fused into the side of thesoloman reclaim pool, with the screw top facing downwards at about 4oclock. however, it may be overkill:shrug:

What do you guys think would be best to mate glass with the Infinity? A glass piece similar to what Leiana uses in the videos, or a dewaar bubbler style? I was leaning toward the dewaar to ease my mind on clearance issues, but the length of the unit (and concentrate adapter) might make it too tall? I need to make a purchase soon, I can't imagine how i'd feel receiving the Infinity and not being able to do anything with it lol

Sorry Leiana, I think I asked before but it was buried...just a few q's:

Will the beta team receive a short whip/mouthpiece to be able to use the unit dry?

What is the warmup time? I mean to complete temp (thermal mass).

Will there be any issues leaving it on for extended periods of time like a log vaporizer?

Looking forward to getting my fingers on this!

Wish I had the money to get in on the Beta for this. Ah well, Spring isn't too far away.

I'm watching this vape very, very closely. I hope it works as well with a hookah as that video suggested. This would be a GREAT party and personal vape then.

Rather then putting a lip/gutter inside the glass cutting down airflow and increasing difficulty of production would it be easier to a flare the lip out wards so the blower just has to blow/flare the middle if the gong section? Then the oils would flow and collect in the flared section?

The second idea with the dram jar reminds me of the erris wheel reclaim collectors they're slick.

Sorry for not posting yesterday. These changes we made really change alot. The glass for everything but the concentrate bowls is done. We also have a few major question before we ship out these units.

We ordered carrying cases that are a little larger than the ones we currently have.

We also see that if you use the vape in hookah mode over long exposure without taking it off, the unit can become quite hot. Because of this we need to add a thermosleeve to the unit. This may not be needed for every unit but we see if someone is using the unit in a high heat range with the unit inverted, you might be startled at the heat. Its not burning hot but its hot enough that you need to hold the unit at the very end to be comfortable. Please express your opinions as this is one of the factors that we can handle quickly. (Thermosleeve solution)

The concentrate adapters will take a little longer because they had to buy new frit for the design. Its worth the wait for the better adapter.

So the question is, who wants it before the cases arrive? Gotta have it! Cant wait!?!?!? If thats you let me know. I'll use the smaller case.

Second question, If you ordered a concentrate bowl? Want me to send it later or all at once?

If you can wait a few more days we can get you a perfect package for your beta units. We have some extras to throw in as well. :razz:

We can handle acquiring a thermosleeve without an issue. For now Black and White will be the colors we choose.

So the bottom line is, we can get them out faster but so many people have concentrate adapters now.

@Madcap79 You order is pretty simple. Has no extras. Can fit in a smaller case nicely. Are you ready for it now? It just wont fit any extra goodies.
Same goes for ROB*** W. , IAN S. , Mic**** K. , JA*** OA***, KA** CON***.
If your name wasnt listed its because you have either combo orders that need a larger case or international orders which a larger case is recommended.
