Deadshort480: I have 220 volt version and I live in Europe :)

Vitolo: thanks for the video. Mine definitely doesn't dim like this and I've yet to see anywhere near this amount of vapor from my unit

This is what puzzles me. The LED remains mostly the same, but the heater element really responds to the dimmer.

Look here for picture on lowest possible setting, after 3 minutes of heat up time. Then maximum setting after 3 minutes of heat up time. You can clearly see a huge difference in the ceramic heater, but almost no effect on the light. Does your heat element look the same when you have max setting?

yes it does. you could just have bad connection to bulb.
my element looks similar to yours.
You may just need to get your technique of draw speed/load size dialed in...
also... you need to let it stay hot for a few minutes after it glows to get the core up to heat.
also check the fit of the HC to be sure it is down snug and has no gap.

My first suspicion was that my heater cover caused the chamber to be 0.5 - 1 cm further away from the heating element than it should be. See picture of my heater cover: http://imgur.com/j4ONiFS

Got a new heater cover and a old style heater cover coming in the mail. Fairly confident that this is the last pieces I need to be completely happy with my LSV.

I'm staying at a relatives and I'm using my LSV directly plugged into the wall and wow everytime I do this I get the same amazing flavor and more of a powerful hit than when I usually plug it in my room. I use a surge protector plugged into a 3-2 prong adapter. I don't understand why I get the same flavor everytime I plug it in directly into the wall. When I first pirchased my LSV I plugged it into another surge protector with a 3-2 prong adapter and I did get that same taste I just got as well. I went upstairs the other day and plugged it in directly into the wall in my living room and once again, I recirvrd those same flavor and powerful hits. Don't get me wrong the hits from my usual surge protector are big and tasty, but it seems like its the same taste no matter the strain when I use it else where. I know I'm not making a lot of sense and ill try to elaborate more later but I'm somewhat trying to figure out how it seems to be different.

Not sure if this has already been discussed but if any of you have the eclipse h2o vaporizer I'd recommend trying out the 18mm adapter with the LSV. It's a pretty neat replacement for the wand.

Ask and you shall......
I thought since I was turning power up, I would grab a fast hit!
I want to use my LSV however I destroyed the stainless steel screen.
Need to figure out how to use the WAND.

Plus I need a 14mm WPA!

One day I'll figure it out?
It's not the device it's me!

You Must Unlearn, What You Have Learned...
Use the Arizer dome screen with your 18mm male ends ataxian, they work great in almost every 18mm male adapter or wand I have.

Does anyone know of a good curved or bent glass wand (like a lsv transfer wand) to use with the dabuddha for a direct draw all glass air path? Does the honeycomb transfer wand for the lsv bend very much? Im currently using the DBV wand with the WPA connected with a tiny piece of tube.

I've always thought of the LSV as my old standby...the best backup I could have. But the reality is that I like it more than my Sublimator and it is my favorite vape after the Cloud. And my Cloud broke a while ago. I like the LSV better than my log vapes and the Extreme.

The only drawback to the LSV for me is that I keep having to stir it after each load, but even that is not a big deal since the bowl is completely exposed after each hit anyhow. Otherwise, it hits hard and strong, the technique feels like hitting a bong with a lighter, it completely extracts, gets used through all my water pieces, tastes really good, is from a long-standing company, can stay on all day long for instant access, has withstood several drops and is a cheap and easy fix if it breaks. It's also cool looking, very affordable and the wpa is the perfect match for a hemp fiber under the screen. I'm running it through a double circ perc and am getting very little phlegm the next morning.

So what I am trying to say is that while I have been infatuated with the Sub and Cloud for the better part of two years, the LSV is proving to be the backbone of my vapor experience. It has been more than durable and always satisfies. While other vapes come and go, this one just keeps doing what it does. Paired with the right bubbler for the right price, this combo is an unbeatable value.

See, there he goes again. He did this a fucking year ago and was the sole reason for me getting the LSV. I was perfectly happy with my PD and had no reason to spend 180 bucks on another vaporizer, and for that, all I have to say is......................Thanks Sticks. It was the best 180 bucks I've ever spent.

I must confess I love a good hard rip once in a while.
Normally I chase flavor however I get a much different effect with the LSV.

The EVO CLOUD and the SUB are great vaporizers.
I don't think I could handle them?

The LSV has more than enough power to fulfill my needs.

Frankly I don't think I will replace it.

It is apart of my quiver when I need a power fix!

It pairs well with water however dry with the "WAND" is pretty enjoyable as well!

Some day you will get a Vap2 and have the perfect budget collection!

I can see clearly now the smoke is gone...
The only fault I have with hte LSV is it's clumsiness. It is just not convenient to leave it on on the counter etc and it's too bulky. But performance wise I haven't tried a vape I would trade it for.

I'm actually looking to mod mine into a smaller form factor. I realize it will void any warranty. But hell these things are pretty simple and it's not rocket surgery.

I have a place where I do most of my vaping and I put a screw in the wall to hang the lsv on...makes leaving it on throughout the day easy and it's actually where I leave it all the time. during a session I will leave it on the table next to me, but between sessions and when out of use it is on the screw. Makes all the difference for me.

But what needs to be said is this is the most enduring vape I have. It's one thing to review a new product and put a couple of sessions down on paper. It's another ball game altogether to be able to say that this thing has endured the test of time and new, much more expensive vapes.

If I plug my LSV into a power strip containing other devices it appears to lack power. So I plug it or any other vaporizer direct into it's own dedicated receptacle plenty of power is obtained!. 15amp receptacles seen to do the trick!

Not to ignore your other points (which I agree with) but this is the big key to me.

I got my LSV on Friday and it is perfect ...for my routine.

It addresses all of the "issues" (which were minor) I had with the PD. Namely the ease of use - fires up faster, temp control and no more fussing with the tubes. The LSV is the closest I have come yet to the ease of combusting. It essentially just replaces your lighter. If that is the type of vaping you enjoy - then I suggest it. I haven't even used the direct draw tube yet.

I like the temp control because I can hit it at 12 -1 a couple times, then at 3, and then on full blast if I want to bring it to the point right before combustion.

I had to reseat the heater cover, and I had to slightly pull out my ceramic heater core. I have also noticed that the outer black casing of the cord, slipped out of that piece at end of the LSV. I just shoved it back in - should I be worried about that?

The cord is only thing that worries me. I dunno if that piece they added to protect it will do the job. Mine had already slipped out, and the cord location is just weird for people like me who purely vape-bong. Maybe instead of that piece they added, better solution would be that spring kind of thing you sometimes find on electric guitar cords...horrible description by me I know

That said - Def a big fan so far of the LSV! In fact such a fan, that I completely lost this weekend to a vape induced trance. Probably dial it back a bit this work week LOL
