Arizer Solo

Just got my Arizer this Friday. Previously I had been using a Purple days for 24/7 usage. It was never unplugged. It finally died and I switched to an underdog but using a purple days stem. That was about two years. But lately it just hasn't been working well and I only get two good small pulls per stem. I came back to FC and saw portable vaporizers and started reading..... After much reading I went with the Arizer and oh my.....

I currently have some Train Wreck. I used my coffee grinder to turn it in to powder practically. Half filled the bowl with a screen and turned it up to 3...... Pretty easy to get going after pulling it out of the box.

I had meant to keep count of how many pulls and all that but I sort of lost count around 15 or so mad huge clouds...... I am amazed.... This thing is amazing it just won't quit..... Pull after pull after pull of huge vapor clouds...... mmmmmmmmm and the taste....

I end up using 2.5 times the amount of plant that I used to use per packing but I would pack a million of those little purple days bowls. This is MUCH better. No charring or burning just a medium dark brown consistently across all the splent plant.

Just wanted to say thanks guys for turning me on to this thing. Just purchased a case and PVHES shorty straight with tube this thing is definately a keeper.

I've got an M1D2; I often use the solo upside down, so I needed the o-ring. I got O-rings from planetvape -a word of caution, though... don't screw on the top too tight! I'm under the impression (from vague memories of old posts here) that older models had more of a recessed area for the o-ring. Mine did not. I thoughtlessly screwed on the top as tight as possible, which had the unanticipated result of pushing the plastic at the bottom of the unit past the screw heads and cracking the plastic. A couple of fine pieces broke off due to that cracking.

End result is that I now have electrical tape on the bottom of the month old solo to make sure it doesn't get any worse. The unit still works fine, but this was a bit disappointing. I continue to use the o-ring, I just don't screw on the top completely.

I'm hearing some are able to use the PVHES stems from PV and some are not with the new design of the Solo. Is the jury still out on that one?

I've got one of the newer units and purchased a PVHES bent shorty turbo and regular GonG adapter. Both work just fine; I'm using an o-ring (included with purchase), I can't speak to the fitting without the o-ring.

Having said that, I actually prefer the newer stock stem to the PVHES shorty turbo. I like the shorty part, but I think the turbo provides too much airflow for how I've become accustomed to using the solo. I get more desirable, predictable results with the stock stem.

My Solo arrived yesterday and it's not a M1B1 It's a M1D2 and I love it!! Only problem is the stems. The Curve fits perfectly, but the Straight stem is too loose. GV said I could return it for a new one at anytime within the 2 years and they are sending me another curve stem. I think I just need a O ring or washer. I want to order one but it's sold out everywhere. Anyone know where I can buy one in NYC, what type and size? Or anywhere online for The Solo. Thanks!

Planetvape.ca has all the Solo stuff you'll want .
It should get to NYC , np .
They come with o-rings if you order the stems .

You want a high temperature rated silicone o-ring size 113. I don't believe anyone has been able to source them locally anywhere. Try McMaster Carr or the o-ring store. But you will have to buy 100, or just wait on PV to have then again

Yes , they're very popular .
Someone posted a few pages back , that they were back in stock .You'll have to keep an eye on it , or maybe contact them for alerts .

Their Gongs are def. worth it .

Yup, about what I found. I pack about .125 grams per Solo stem, three of my normal PD stems. It's been a while, my PD is boxed up, since the Solo is so enticing.

Ok so I did some a couple more bowls out of it of my stuff. I tried my non PVHE stem to see if that was what was causing the "burn spot". I packed the bowl less full than I normally would but it still hit great even with my stock stem.

I swear it's a little harsher than Solo used to be though so I think I need to mess with lower temp settings or something on it.
