I mix it up depending on what I want out of a session. If I need to quickly medicate, I use an 18mm GonG adapter connected to a bit of SSV tubing to rip Herbie through my Mobius 65b with water. A couple HUGE water-conditioned hits and the bowl is cooked - though even with water these rips can send me coughing due to their massive size. If I'm doing work at my desk and I'm not so desperate for relief, I use the whip and sip on a bowl which can last me 30-45 minutes. If I'm being leisurely kicking it on the sofa watching some TV or whatnot, then I fill a bag so I can sip as I please without having to be near the Herbalizer.
When I first received my Herbalizer, I really didn't think I'd use the bags or whip too much since I had been using a VXC through glass for the last two years and had grown accustomed to the ritual, but I use them both and now can't imagine giving up the options.

I am in the same boat as @lazylathe, mostly using my Pinnacle HT. I was using a whip with the HT but was getting too much smelly buildup in the whip, so now am back to sitting the HT directly on top of the bowl. Also happy without water, but just as easy for me to use the HT as a whip, bag or glass straw (hi @Dreamerr!).
Has anyone found any of the SSV tubing in a smaller diameter? I have the wider diameter but still need to use other tubing to adapt it to the Herbie end. Thanks for the folks suggesting the SSV tubing, I hope the Herbie crew decides to switch to something with the same properties because those white tubes are a little like sponges and get smelly very quickly.
Still patiently waiting to order another bowl for my Herbie..... I really think they should include two so you can use one while the other is being cleaned.

Kinda like @green2brown, it depends on my need/mood.
I do need to see if I can paint my blaze bong white with vapor,
I haven't been able to pull that off yet except for with the sublimator.
I've still not used the balloon option, with herbie or any other vape.
But I'm looking forward to trying it when the time is right

For me, a single vape session, with no follow-up can last recognizably anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours.... but of course I am wearing topical applications, and consuming medibles as well as vaporizing.... and I do switch strains, upon re-medication often.... so in truth, my medicated state never really leaves... it just gets "topped off".
Basic answer, is 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on what challenges the Universe throws in my path!

The Herbalizer works nicely with the Blaze bong! I posted a video of mine together on page 72 of this thread. It paints it white.I'm enjoying my ssv bubblers with herbie,

Sorry I ain't been around for a few, couple issues in vapes land.
But, I only use Herbie through water lately. Through the Ion is fucking sick! But, I enjoy herbie most through one of my recyclers. Because it looks cool?
It does look cool but not the reason, anyone who truly buys a recycler for it's actual purpose rather than it's swirly thing understands that a recycler can be continuously pulled without creating pressure. Hence rather than pulling a deep as you can to fill your glass and then inhaling a recycler allows you to pull until your fucking done!
See, like @nigel - I'm not a cloud chaser, I am in it for medical reasons as well as getting the best possible feeling from whatever I put in the chamber. If I'm using a glass piece that I can keep pulling until my lungs are full instead of my can (and then have to pull again)I save a lot of stress on my lungs.
Try it, you guy's will see what I mean.

Always water... if a vaporizer can't hook up to water it will not get much use from me. The only time I don't use water is when I am using a portable away from the house.

I've been vaping in the range of 390-420F pretty consistently lately, and my ABV never gets really dark. I just seshed some Sour D for about 10 minutes in my usual temperature range, no more vapor production, and my ABV was light brown with some light green still left in there. I'm fully medicated. Does the Herbalizer simply extract without browning herb all that much, or am I doing something wrong? I rarely go above 420ish so maybe the herb only gets dark brown at 445?

Yeah, I guess "golden" would be an appropriate term for the ABV I've been getting. That or "blonde."
I had a highdea that involved placing my PN WT directly on top of the bowl without any silicone to make a seal or anything (the piece is about the same circumference as the bowl). I tore threw a bowl of Lemon Kush in no time. It wasn't the most ergonomic set up, but it got me thinking that a bowl lid with a 14mm or 18mm connector paired with a bent neck hydratube would be pretty amazing.

I use the highest temp most of the time, and my duff comes out lighter than usual. I tend to darken it the rest of the way, in my pinnacle pro. But it does come out nicely done in the Herbie though...about a shade lighter than I normally get in my other vapes at top temp.

I find the best way to completely finish a bowl in the Herbie and get a darker ABV is with the use of the Fan Assist and a WT of some sort.
When just using my lungs the ABV is lighter.
Add the Pinnacle or HT WT and my ABV comes out quite a bit darker.
The last stage for me has been to empty the bowl and grind the ABV finer with my fingers and place back in bowl for the final few hits.
This gives me dead ABV that i cannot get any more vapour from, even when i use a different vape to test the ABV.
Strange thing is that at this stage i do not get a bad taste in the Herbie but when trying the ABV in another vape it tastes quite burnt.
I find it pretty amazing that i have never had a burnt/popcorn taste in the Herbie!

Yes Herbie... Intense is right. It's just the right height, pliable, and I actually like the long glass "wand" when I really didn't think I'd feel right about it.
