Not one unusual behavior after the first night of wonkiness. And to think I was going to send it back?!

I love this vape currently. I was confident enough in it to sell my volcano for cheap to a friend who really needed a hard hitting vape.

I measured one bowl of ABV after I vaped, and found that .06g was enough to vape well in the evo for me. Pretty good considering the volcano would take at LEAST .1g to cover the screen. .2g to vape real nice.


Thanks SM...the thing is great. I'm glad you got me to give it that one more shot. Boy was I upset, but it may have just been the need to reseat the power cable better or something. Either way I'm quite happy with it now.

I was a pre-order and received a stand. I wrote a head's up in the anticipation thread. When I opened the box the bubble wrapped HT was on top, then the stone monkey logo box with the EVO. But deep down under all the green foam peanuts was a little taped ball of bubble wrap (smaller than my fist) containing the stand. Could SO easily be missed. I told my husband, "oh I thought it was coming with the stand" so he looked, dug around and found it. Otherwise, it would have been tossed.

Mine did this too and the bamboo was busted. Blow through it and make sure that isnt the case for you. My bamboo was shattered Im pretty sure by the time I sent it back. The guys at VXL will take care of you. They had my unit out the door in 2 days.

Were the wrist bands in the EVO retail box or in the shipping box itself? I didn't receive any...thought we were all supposed to get a couple of them... :shrug: Maybe I should go rummage around in the box again.

It's not a big deal...but they would be nice to have...:)

I suggest you open a support ticket.

I didn't get mine - however, I also didn't get the glass expected, and I think the (unexpected) HT I got was sent without the foot, since the foot is not ideal for this HT. So, I would hope that whoever did get that EB HT also got the foot for it! :) As it is, I also got a fair handful of ELBs and wristbands.

I do believe that, while VXL is absolutely amazing, they are still people, and the last couple of weeks of getting the IGG orders out were so stressed/slammed/pressured, that simple mistakes become a little more common. Not every box had the same/identical accessories, just because shit happens.

Give them the opportunity to meet/beat your expectations. :)

I had one in the retail box and a few outside it. And I put them all around the EVO :-)

You can move the EVO around by the power cord :lol:

The cords fit way, way better than the stock one.
It goes in and out without a hitch but stays in securely.

Well, this is what happens when you buy something when you're "HOLY CHRIST" stoned :ko: -

That cable is 14AWG. The typical cable of this type, and that used for the EVO, is 18AWG.

Do you have a link to the one I should order, perhaps on Amazon? I'm sorry if I can't research it right now, that would be a huge help for me. Monoprice is good too if it's cheaper I just have prime so may be able to get it faster.

14AWG is not BAD for the EVO, but the lower the number, the heavier, i.e., stiffer, the cable (higher rated).
Since an 18AWG works well for EVO, you can get a softer, more flexible 18AWG, have sufficient load-bearing, without having to pay more/have a stiffer cable.

I'm glad I had an older, larger HydraFoot because the one that came with my Fanatic tube was slightly undersized for the job. It has found a happy place in my collection though (you can see 3 sizes ranging from large to small) . . . Lady "E" enjoy that tube, its a winner . . . :tup:

I just finished my first ELB. It was a pretty light pack, but I had to crank the dial up as far as it would go to get the ABV to turn brown. The unit was pre-heated for well over 30 minutes. Not complaining, just wondering if this is normal?

I hope i can get the preorder prices and glass since i did have a preorder # issued in november, but either way.. im STOKED.

Not sure why i doubted this would ever happen, sometimes its easy to forget stuff happens and thats life... i do apologize if i ever was brash or rude, or impatient over the past couple years, it was only out of love for the herb.

anyway a big THANK YOU to the vapexhale team. I remember the days when the cloud was just an idea, long before this site updated its looks, back when FC was still a baby, neon green and black n grey...we all wanted a vape that would satisfy us all, no this..no that,, oh but its gotta have that ect..ect... and then the idea of the cloud came to be...now that idea is a real thing, and i cant wait to hit it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahahahahahahaha


CHEERS, and ill make sure to give even more props after i hit this irie creation.

oh btw ive been talking this thing up to everyone, im sure with all of us doing that, theres no way this unit wont be the best, most recognized vape ever.

About to order the EVO off the VXL website...description doesn't say if there are ELBs that come with the unit (without having to add the pack of 4 in accessories). Anybody know if there are ELBs (and how many) already included with the purchase of the unit itself?

Hesitating between the Swagger Circ and the SSFG Hydraline...anybody have recommendations?

Also, anybody know the average shipping time to Canada?

2 ELBs are included in the box. ;)

....the HT experience is very subjective...each one provides a different experience in terms of the hit..hard to compare...I presently have 4..(broke my devastator...that's another story)...def. some I like better than others...but they all are good...

You should get brown at ~2 and dark brown at ~3. A number of new users have been underwhelmed at their first session, but that changes once one gets his/her technique down. So I would give myself some time to experiment. Use a 1/4 load, ground fine but nothing close to powdery, and hit it from the start at 3. You should get a lot of thick vapor. But just like some posted that vapor density sometimes varies by herb, I've noticed that the ABV can vary, too. I transferred a load of just brown ABV from my EVO to my super-hot OG and it did give me an additional not so pleasant hit which turned it very dark; I don't think the EVO left any remaining actives.
