Just want to say thanks to @PlanetVape ! Once again top notch super quick service to the UK. Got a MegaShot 18mm adaptor, for my Honeycomb bubbler and Cloud+. Makes the Honeycomb useable with the extra clearance on the joint and it's awesome. Love the blue glass stopper too.

Thanks :D

Hello, PlanetVape. I have a matter of customer service to bring up to you.
I would call in by telephone, but I thought that by using pictures I could communicate my message to you in a more clear way and save us some time.
Fist of all I have to say your shipping is great and your packages on both cases have arrived to my home in Seattle from Canada faster than amazon.com can muster on some occasions.

My concern is in regards to my recent PVHES Turbo order (order #20427).
The PVHES Turbo I just received has air channels that are very shallow, as if they weren't made deep enough during manufacturing.
The older (and now broken in half - RIP) PVHES Turbo I had had very deep and pronounced channels.

The effect this has is that my new PVHES Turbo does not have very good air flow compared to my last one.
Moreover, my new PVHES Turbo allows only slightly more air flow than the stock stem.

Here are some pictures to show the difference in channel depth and size that I am referring to:

Old PVHES Turbo with deep channels and good airflow:

New PVHES Turbo with shallow channels and poor airflow:

The difference in channel size/depth and airflow between the two really is noticeable, and I would not have taken the time to snap/upload pics and compose this message unless it was so.

All in all, I'm a little disappointed in my new PVHES Turbo.

I am wondering if you guys could help me out with an exchange?

I look forward to your response, and I hope I was able to convey my message effectively.
If you have any questions please let me know.

Im wondering if PV redesigned the turbo to work optimally with the new solo's that have an improved heater and airflow?
That would account for the differences

If this is the case, PV needs to continue supplying the deeper-grooved turbo for the MANY Solo's that still require it. I'm very sure they will accommodate with an exchange:nod:. PV is great about stuff like this.:luv:

I am going to wait for a reply from PlanetVape before making any assumptions.

(that's sick the solo has been upgraded)

They have stated to contact them directly with any PVHES issues.

All my PVHES have 'shallow' channels. Those deep ones are brand new to me!

Wanted to say thanks for the creative, fast shipping of my persei accessories.

I laughed so hard when I opened my box to find, packing paper, small bubble-wrap,large bubble-wrap,and a bag of Doritos and cheezies to fill the airspace.......Perfect

Just ordered my vape and a PVHES stem from them, how was the shipping to the UK? And have you ever had any trouble with customs charges? This is my first order from overseas so I'm new to this stuff!

Also would like to say the prices on this site are brilliant, I only just realized the prices were in CAD not USD which is awesome, spent less money than I thought!(only £10, but £10 is better than £0! :D)

Hello PV,

I've been returning to your website for almost 3 weeks looking for SOLO stock stems (both straight and bent) and they're out-of-stock. Do you have an estimate or idea when you'll have a batch of those available?

Thanks a lot!

I am who I am and your approval isn't needed!

You'd be better served (quicker) by emailing them at sales@planetvape.ca or using their website 'contact us' link.

Ordered from half way around the world on a Wednesday afternoon, package was in my hands the following Monday morning. Yes, it was rather expensive express shipping ($47), but a friend and I shared the cost. This is my 6th order with PV since June 2013 and each one has been excellent. Even the cheap shipping option to the UK has been fast both times I've used it.

Not allowed to buy any more vapes
I wonder if planetvape offers pickup? I just noticed they are located really close to me. Walking distance from where I used to live actually.

as sad as it is to say i can no longer recommend @PlanetVape for people wanting to buy a solo in the US. my solo has a 2 year warranty which only has a month left on it. my solo worked great for the first 1.5 years but now is acting strange. i contacted PV and told them and they told me i have to deal with Arizer direct. Dealing with Arizer has been a disaster!!! their US service facility is closed and i do not know for how long so all returns have to go to Canada. Arizer wants me to pre-pay $30.00 to ship it back to me, which alone seems very high to me as when i bought it new the shipping was not that much. Plus i have to pay to ship it to them which will cost more for us US people since it's international. and they requested i send it to them express priority. so i am looking at over $60.00 to get my solo repaired.

for people that live in Canada maybe the rates will be better since their is no international pricing.. and maybe Arizer will charge less than $30.00 to ship it back but for US patrons... in my opinion this is crazy. at what it will cost me to get it repaired i could save a few bucks more and get a new one. so for US patrons i really must recommend one of FC's other trusted retailers (i will not say here as it is not fair to @PlanetVape in their own thhread). for aftermarket HES stems, @PlanetVape is the way to go for sure. But for US customers that are looking to buy a new Solo, please do your research first.
