Discontinued Omicron Vaporizer for oils

I am...it works but the carts get clogged easily and there is a fairly long prime. Also it stops hitting hard very quickly. Like first 10 are huge...then you have to puff it for a long time to get a nice hit. I wanted to try 1.5s. I can only get shatter and I would love toa make it work better. My kiss cart blows through shatter no problem though.

To get the normal carts to perform like a champ is to follow these rules.

1. Load no more then .5 grams

2. Start hitting the vape right before you press the button.

3. Keep hitting it for a few seconds after you let go of the button.

4. Hit if for about 20 seconds between hits without pressing the button.

5. Never press the button and not inhale.


This will eliminate 99% of your issues.

I used shatter on a KISS cart before. It worked fine. I personally like crumble the least with these things.

I disagree somewhat. My tax money (and many commercial attempts to attract customers) provides free access to those who will go to Libraries and such (where they're even allowed to publicly view porn, even with children around.......) for "access" to the free computers to do it with, or bring their laptop (or whatever) down to their business and hopefully buy a cup of Java to go with it. Far more sanitary to use your own keyboard you know, you have no idea about the one in the library you know.

What people pay for is more convenient Internet access. They, quite naturally, don't really want to have to go downtown. And many of them have that ISP (emphasis on the "Provider" part......) paid for with tax money from other people as it is. More 'rights'.

Anyway, the Internet remains free IMO. As individuals we may enter contracts with ISPs to make access more to our liking, but unlike telephone (cell or land line) or snail mail you don't pay to use the network......which in turn blesses us with inboxes filled with 'free advertising'. Unlike filling my mailbox up with trash, that costs the slimeballs that do it for the very modest profit they get from all the grief they cause.......not to mention giving all those guys in Nicaragua so many more innocent folks to scam. They just got another one here in San Jose. Beat a 66 YO widow out of her life savings (got her to take out a loan on her house and wire the money to an account in Turkey). She got wise, tipped off the bank, who phoned Holder on the Bat Phone and the Turks got the bottom feeder when he went to pick up the booty. So now the chap is in a Turkish Prison (not famous for fine cuisine and five star accomidations) with plenty of time to reflect on his sins. May he rot.

But the guy claiming to be a Brit stuck on a Scots Oil rig scammed the money from halfway around the world for free.

Mind you liberals in their never ending quest for yet more money to buy votes with keep trying to tax the internet, but thus far have been turned back at every attempt. It remains free. Won't discourage them, of course......they want your money. If we could just get them to limit it at taxing spam, but history has shown once they get their snout into the public trough.........

I like crumble in the 2.4 carts a lot. (lower powered devices)
However for the past year I make my own shatter.
The K.I.S.S. carts do well with SHATTER however my experience is limited to the 5.0 version.
The HERCULES SR71 before I destroyed it was the best device for shatter hands down!
I have one left so when I get some courage I'll break it out.


The HERCULES SR74 (revised SR71) with 2 x 18350's using a PERSEI might be the ticket?

My KISS cart with only one wick is still running strong. Trying to hold out for the Ti ones to replace it.

My 2.4 cart is running great now too. Once I got the hang of filling/using it.

I have ordered a 1.5 cart. However, I agree with all the "use the 2.4" first advice in this thread, because I undoubtedly would have burned the 1.5 up knowing what I know now.

At first I was looking for cheaper alternatives to the W9 carts, but have since come to realize they are the best manufactured carts for this device and worth the little extra cost as opposed to cheaper alternatives.

The 1.5 carts get a lot of good press. I need to try them as well!

My advice is ditch the plastic mouthpiece. It seems to me that a portion of it dissolves slowly with exposure to alcohol and heat. If you have any of the silicone mouthpieces that come with the carts use that instead. Just stretch it out over the top part of the Kiss. It also works pretty well as an interface between Kiss and Nibbler-X

I'm going to respectfully disagree with @MaxVapor , at least for me.

I use the regular plastic mouthpiece and like it alot. I simply clean it with a qtip and alcohol never submersing it. As far as heat and I find that it does not get hot enough to cause any damage that way.

Like I said though, at least for me.

I think that may be at the heart of it. One size is not fitting all. There are obviously some plastics that don't mind ISO (hey, it comes in plastic bottles...) or high heat. But it's all a trade off. The plastic from the ISO bottle won't deal with the heat for instance.

I'm not sure the engineers that selected the plastic were expecting the heat some are subjecting it to. I don't think the e-cig guys ever push it as hard as many of the more serious vapers do. Likewise, ISO is 'Holy Water' to many, for sure the engineers never considered washes in it one a regular basis, let alone soaking.

I just got my 'upgraded MPs'. Thus far, for the way I use it (more modest than many), I think I like the originals better. Maybe.

Choice is good here.

So, while I suspect the original MPs will work find for many/most (or they would not have been selected....), there will be exceptions. This Forum is full of exceptional people.......just ask 'em.

I don't think there is any turning back from the 1.5's for me at this point. Overall they work better in my experience (except the one I "improperly loaded" or whatever).

That said, it's a much different animal than the 2.4's. I had to warn my girlfriend yesterday before handing it off, because I know if she treated it like my 2.4's it would have been toast. But simply saying "be careful, and only hold the button 2-3 seconds max" she had no problems with it and was surprised by the difference. She actually said "is this a whole new setup?", although it was just a new 1.5 cart on my same ophos. I did add a "whistle tip" instead of the rubber tip, so that threw her off a little.

Hey different strokes for different folks right? I like the original MP better than the silicone one too, but I am really just using it as an adapter and perching the nibbler-X on top as a poor man's Okeanos. (well given the price maybe not a poor man's).

At this points both my Kiss carts have been iso soaked at least 3 times each for average of 2 to 3 days. Collectively about 2 grams put through them.

Just wanted to check up on when the release date for this Titanium KISS Cartridge? I keep thinking its available since its up on the page but there is no order button. A friend gave me an omicron in the case with the sample 2.4 cartridge. Works ok.. kind of weak from the start. I watched several youtube videos and read a couple hundred pages of this thread to make sure I loaded it and am hitting it just right. Earl is expensive after all. I think it's because I am indeed a person that likes dabbers. So Im anticipating this cartridge. Any hints? Thanks!

It takes sometime to get the results you want. All depend on the medicine u choose to use.

So i was at the shop the other night and they were showing off a new wickless cart for oils for 510 batteries. Looked really neat but wasnt in the market for purchase at the moment. Wondering if a similar design is or will be available in the near future?

Well it looks almost identical to a standard ce4 cart without the silica wicks. I didnt ask much about it cause i was in a hurry but it retails for 25$ and lasts longer than the ce4's. I'll bring one by the van nuys shop for comparison!

If you load the oil from the outside (outside the inner tube anyways) and it feeds in through those tiny holes it's probably terrible. Nothing like ejuice. If you somehow add the dab on the coil through the top then I guess it would work kinda?
