I just got the Persei and have been testing it with different concentrates. Has anyone had a problem with shatter? What cartridge do you like the best? Also what attachment do I need to vape e cig liquid?
Hercules or Kiss is the way to go for shatter. Original carts not so much

Does this mean if I make shatter I should whip it into wax? (For standard carts)

While I've never done it, I seriously doubt that will change anything. Once it melts the first time (like on loading) the air is going to escape again and you're back where you started (before the first hit).

Might be worth a try, but I wouldn't hold out much hope. I think the foil test is a good tool here.

Good luck.

The omicron(original) cartridges are only really good for runny oils. Solid oil like wax and shatter your better off with kiss or hercules. Youll just get frustrated and annoyed trying to use them with the original cartridges

@ataxian exactly my glass is all part of my rituals I guess. I really just enjoy nice glass. Also, I really like your avatar. All the names from W9 being related to Futurama make them even more desirable in a way (I know the name doesn't matter but still). It was my favorite animated series of all time I was sad to see it go.
I started watching "FUTURAMA" after I got my first PERSEI when they just came out. Then the BENDER came to market and I related to this device. It's not for everyone however I find it pretty nice for my liking.
Watching the program after a "BENDER SESSION" I connected with the BENDER CHARACTER and found this symbiotic relationship medicating!
IDK, if the Hercules SR-71 was named the "Anal Intruder" instead...

I killed one of my SR71's.
I do love the power these have.
My other SR71 I have left I will use it until I kill it as well.
Can't wait for the new K.I.S.S. carts!
The HERCULES SR74 is going to be the heavy hitter!

Yeah the 7.4v SR-71 is where it's at for me. When I'm mobile that is. At home I rock a PNWT'd kiss cart.

When I get the silicone tubing I ordered I'm gonna rig some other connections up too.

From what I understood the SR71 will hit harder than the SR74 because it has the original white rod. The newer white rod that's in the SR74 has less power and thus improved the batteries performance.

i'm hoping the new white rod will be good for my father who can't seem to ease off the button while hitting.
Our Hercs get the same oil but his always smells burned.

Can someone weigh an empty standard cartridge for me? I don't have any empty carts around haha.
I think the answer to your question might be on the vaporpedia page for the persei?

Check it out, you might have some luck.

[vaporpedia link removed due to malware]

EDIT: FOUND IT! "Typically an empty cart is ~7.9 grams with some variance."

@THC SCIENTIFIC , are these the '904's that you are refering to?

904 S70 Silicone Rubber O-rings

Just to be clear before I place an order, I'm looking for spare orings for the Hercules mouthpiece that comes with the Nibbler XL. Are these the right ones?

I wanted to follow up on my post about spare o-rings for the Nibbler XL. I never got a response from G so I went ahead and ordered both 904 and 906 type siicone o-rings.

It turns out that the '906' o-rings are a perfect match. The o-ring in the picture sitting on top of the paper label is the original that came with the Nibber XL. The '904's are too small to fit the Nibbler XL mouthpiece. So, anyone who has a Nibbler XL water tool and wants to pick up some spare o-rings these are the ones to get:

If you have one, the black rod @ 3.7v might solve the burnt oil issue. You can ride the button all day and it won't burn the oil like the white rod @ 7.4v would.

my black rod, you can ride the button all day and barely melt the oil

i don't want to buy another black rod. I'm still a little sore at how long I was messing with what turned out to be defective black rod they sold to me. I needed to buy an ohm meter.

but I'm happy today. I got mail from W9tech and someone was home to sign for it.

Actually i did respond to the size of the orings if im not mistaken.

@THC SCIENTIFIC wanted to shout out and say Thanks. got the mp in with the 2 carts really appreciate the love!. I was very happy to get such service and dedicated time. I really do love w9!
-also with the ss kit I put the stock tube from persei with 18650 tube from the ss kit and it seems even with my spring raised all the way im still a tad short of it connecting with the top. I removed the metal o ring from stock persei and made enough height on cells to connect to the top. but now I got threads showing were I connected the two tubes. is this a spring issue? mine is in good shape and looks just fine but idk ive seen pics with other stacked 650 persei's and no threads shown. was also thinkin a magnectic spacer would add some height but am using 2 aw button tops so its not nec needed.
