Nice so I got it than maybe ill grab a extra incase these go extinct lol , where do I get a few correctly sized screens the size of a quarter DDave , also thought you emailed this seller and they stated it didn't have a lip. Also wondering if I use some heat shrink tubing on it if it will work well so my hands don't burn when grabbing it bc I got a lot laying around thought it may be a good idea .

No problem gadabout glad I could help , let me know how you like it :) , now are there any better aftermarket elbows I should look out for , preferably thicker and also what size for elbows is it 18mm female to 18mm female ?

Originally, I went into my local supply shop and purchased a pack of multisized screens. It happened to contain the proper screen. Apologies, I don't have an online resource.

The diameter of a US Quarter is 0.955 inches (24.26 mm). (Though, not sure if this helps... :shrug:)

Regarding seller negative input on this adapter, yeah, I was blown off.... maybe they didn't understand? :huh:

I will also edit this posting in a couple minutes when I find the link to the Bowl Holder.

I just got back from the headshop picked up a few screens that fit but leave a little space not much at all , they did have the perfect 18mm female to female to adapter there that fit a screen perfectly looked exactly the same as the one I got from eBay just a tad smaller , same cheap glass but they wanted $25 for it and I wasn't paying that high of price considering the glass felt exactly the same as the one I got.


Ddave those are test tube holders I have thought about getting those there just a little big for what I want but thankyou . Trying to fix something on permanent or maybe some heat shrink tubing.

Glad you found a screen that fits... shame about the local shop...that has to be quite a markup on that adapter!

There were a couple dry mouthpieces for the cloud in classifieds this morning, 2 for $38, 1 for $22, I think. They would make a great accessory to any EQ owners looking to supercharge performance.

got shipping number already for the adapter. hoping to see a nice difference!!!

so would 1in screens work in that adapter? i found some online and was curious. they have 0.832 then 1 inch.

that may be to small id go bigger possibly grab the volcano screens that go into the heating chamber. The ones that ddave qouted that are the size of a quarter should be good with some resin build up or you can always go bigger and cut down to size.

** i ordered my q on the 10th off ebay from a seller named gratefulbuys bc they had good feedback , they are authorized dealer and also stated my item would be here by the 16th so i paid a bit more from them than the other sellers for that and have yet to recieve it , when i contacted them i got a late responce and a tracking # that doesnt register. Now they get back to me stating there is a delay in shipping, if i would have know this i would have went with a cheaper authorized seller and most likely had my item by now. so no experience yet with the q.

id go with 1'' screens wich are a little bigger than the 3/4 and if need be cut a drop of material out , they can be had for $2 shipped for 10 of them on ebay - http://www.ebay.com/itm/15121036300...NX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_626wt_1124 , i chose stainless steel over brass as i think they are better for heat and dont give off chemicals when burning but i am no expert on this.

** also what size tubing do we need and whats the best price , i see some ssv tubing on ebay but its not silicone ?

What is the correct tubing size , i see people in this thread say to buy 3/8 in od x 1/4 in id , than i see people saying to use 5/16 id x 7/16 od ? also still wondering if any of you know if the ssv tubing that comes stock is silicone bc on ebay they state the 7th floor ssv tubing is acrylic .

i dont know what it is actually..i got the hose and elbow today tho. the elbow was nice..and is close to a 1/4 in longer..so the screen goes further into the cyclone than the stock does. and with the new whip and elbow i do notice an increase..so very satisfied.

Turns out i still have yet to get my Q , they said they brought it to usps instead of ups and have to locate the package and reship wich kinda sucks but they did say they would try and get me another out today with a free grinder wich i dont need bc i have prob the best 1 you can own. They also said if i recieve two units by mistake to send 1 back . Anyway gadabout how are you liking your Q so far ? are you using the bag setup bc i just bought the Camelbak Ergo HydroLock Valve off amazon for $6 and its gonna work great for stopping vapor from leaving the bag setup and will also make a good mouth piece , i recieved it and if you look at the pic in the link all you do is turn that small yellow piece to let air through and close it to stop the air - http://www.amazon.com/CamelBak-9012...qid=1389997522&sr=8-1&keywords=camelbak+valve , if i had money to waste id even try buying a volcano solid valve kit and fixing it on but i already sold my volcana and there pretty expensive to just buy 1 for testing purposes. I may also grab a bubbler to attach to this Q in a few weeks. Does anyone know how pipesdaddy is? they seem to get some bad reviews but have the best prices .

i am actually enjoying it! i have only used a mflb for 2yrs plus..and never used anything else..but i have done bags and whip..and both are working well. i am not getting the dense clouds i have seen online..but still experementing with it. just ordered a metal steal your face 3in sticker to make it a lil more me! and havent gotten the adapter yet. so after the adapter gets here..im really curious to see how it works.

That adapter should do the trick moving your herb closer to the heating chamber , I really reccomend that valve i listed also for a cheap solution to have your vapor not leak out and being able to pass the bag to friends and share. I miss my volcano allot bc of its ease of use and super thick vapor but they are way overpriced and only do bags and the ocasional whip is nice and being able to hook up some glass. I am actually kinda upset your not getting the dense clouds , have you tried turning the heat up some? keep experimenting bc if mine doesnt produce thick vapor ill prob end up selling it and grabbing another volcano but i do really like what the Q has to offer , i think with everything you just have to keep experimenting .

i am getting nice bags, dont get me wrong. it is working well..just some i have seen have been like white..lol and i havent gone up too much in temp yet..playing with 392-506 right now. and my material isnt the "greatest' which may be some of the problem. i do know that after a session..i am feeling well medicated!

Nice , have you done any break in such as leaving it on at certain temp to burn off all the packaging oils ?

My extreme q finally stopped turning on today. It has seen no abuse and sat on it's table the majority of it's life. Anyone else run into this issue? It started off with just not turning on every once in awhile but seemed to work if I unplugged and replugged in or adjusted the cord, but now it does nothing. The cord isn't roughed up or anything, so I'm not sure what to. Is there a ghetto fix for this anyone can come up with? I need my baby back and I just hit the 3 year mark 2 weeks ago making this out of any possible warranty from what i know.
