I actually live in the same city as TRVB, so I picked it up about a week/ week and a half.
I think he had mentioned last week that he already had sent it out to you, so you should be getting it shortly if you haven't yet.
I love the high temp vaping and the flower comes out uniform, if you leave the abv in there after your done for a good wile it can get darker but not much more extraction from it, the baker seems to do well with extraction and even cooking.

Made the screen and had a great session. I think we have liftoff! I didn't go light on the load, so I am supposed to be feeling good, and I am. I took a screen from my LSV supply and domed it so that it fits very tightly in the bullet. It takes tweezers to remove it at the moment. I will adjust it later. I decided to leave nothing to chance, so I heated it up to 450 first, then backed it down to 390. Once it got down to 390 I dropped the bullet in and waited at least 30 seconds. I then used it inverted on the DH40 Chinese bubbler and got respectable clouds at that temp. I will try it again later tonight on a higher setting to see if I get even thicker clouds like I should. I took four to five draws 30 seconds long each, while giving it at least 30 seconds between hits. It may very well be able to withstand more (harder draws and lesser recovery periods) and I will keep getting harder and harder on it, but I wanted this to be an easy test out of the gate.

I think the instructions say to put the bullet in when you turn it on, but I don't remember. That's not how I would instinctively do it, but that may be the best thing to do given we are giving it a heat-soak anyhow. If the bullet is in the chamber from the beginning then the whole load will be at temp at the same time. The way we are doing it now, we drop a cold bullet in the chamber and it needs time to recover. One of these methods will smell more than the other.

@TherealVaporblunt -- I think a spacer included would work wonders. We just went through the Indica testing and they made a spacer for their unit that fits perfectly. Yours might be nothing more than a screen since it needs to account for airflow, but it would be a perfect screen that would maximize results.

Well this has been encouraging! I am going to go back to using it with a HT and even start some micro loads to see how it does. I thought it handled the smaller loads I ran through it the first time I used it very well.

Yes, I keep on top of the herb in the bullet for smaller loads, so they stay in place and dont move.
If you pack a full bullet the herb presses against the pong's screen and has no where to go so the screen is not needed unless you want to keep the pong screen cleaner. I do feel that for smaller half sized loads the cupped screen holds the herb in place and does not allow it to move around the bullet with the drawn in air,conductiion aids the convection better this way IMHE.

This is the session right after the the video above, I literally :ko: myself out after those 2 heavy sessions. Had to wait a few hours to medicate again as the feeling lasted quite a while.

@stickstones, this ones for you buddy!!
I didnt take notes:ugh::ugh:, but I timed it and documented it, hope this gives a better idea of what i have been doing. The times should help indicate the length of time between hits and warm up.
The second video, its already warmed up and it takes but a second or two to reach 445 from 420.

Great videos OG, another vape for the list, narrowing it down to one purchase is going to be a nightmare :)

Re: the screen on a bullet, I think I'm having similar results on the PnP. With no PonG screen and just a screen in the bullet (which holds the bullet firmly in place), I think I'm getting bigger clouds but I could just be way too medicated and making it up :) I think with a screen in the bullet, I also get worse results if the bullet is packed.

Anyway, keep the vids coming! Its really pushing The Baker up to the top of my 'to purchase' list :D

@ more amazing vids Blazing Og... love your vape station setup.. getting blitzed off such small amts is mind blowing to me..considering how much i go thru with the pax and barely feel anything..I wonder how would just a nug vape...hardly shredded...:clap:

I went back to my HT last night after the early session I had and was using temps of 400 and 420 with good results. I was fucking around both sessions. The first one I put a little bit of hemp fiber in the bottom and put a micro load on top with a screen in next to pack it down. The fiber went in first to try and keep the small load in contact with the SS and not the screen for better conductivity. I was pretty happy with the results, especially the effect! My next one I went with four small glass beads mixed in with the herb. This one worked better after a longer heat up. Basically I was going through my tests like I did with the Ascent, since that is a conduction vape as well. I don't think the bottom spacer is really necessary, but I will test it later today without them. My first session ever with this thing was on a really low temp without a spacer and I liked it fine, but I wasn't using it inverted. I think the screen really helps the most with inversion.

@Reflections -- I will give that a go, since I have done that with several other vapes. I usually lightly wrap it in cotton or hemp first to reduce conduction and increase radiation/convection.

I agree with sticks. From now on, vape videos should feature weight and a chronometer using lap times for each phase of the session. :D
This way we can better replicate the experience, and also understand the proper MO.

Thank You its a work in progress, but as you see in the video I am using a broken GONG ADAPTER ON MY PIECE, BECASUE I KEEP BREAKING THEM!!! I just ordered 3 more in case, but I got those "BAR MAT"S" for cheap and they work greeaaaaaaaaat & are easy to clean as well.

yeah its not pertaining to me ,but it sure was cool to find out at the end of the video they say "OG".
My best friend from seedless clothing is mad homies with slightly stoopid, so I hope to meet them one day. my buddy actually helped them blow up by throwing seedless concerts before they were known in san diego,ca!!!!!

I've read through most of the thread. I didn't see a time as of lately when this bad boy will be released? Anyone know?
