Let me elaborate. I am looking at the HI and the Underdog or really any vape but from what I read these are my best bets for my requirements for it to survive in my house. efficiency, ease of use, no glass, dry herb are my biggest concerns. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also is there a voltage regulator that is suggested? Thank you in advance for your responses! I am ready to get away from my volcano for awhile and my MFLB with glyphs are becoming my DD just because I am sick of messing with bags. I am a blank slate with no bias so all opinions are valued. Thank you!

I just hope this thread doesn't get shut down before knowledgable people jump in,we're not saying any of these are better than each other.

I just want to know how each is slightly different

Hi,

First of all and as you already know I think, logvapes are known to be really (if not the most) efficient!

It is made for using as tiny load as possible for the best extraction. I own a Wychwood (no longer produced) and I'm in the waiting list for a Hi, actually my turn has come but I'm in waiting for money :/ I bought the WW cause I really needed a logvape after I've read all good things about them : no whip, perfect to use with glass, discrete, pretty, economic (designed to be plugged 24/24 7/7) = so you don't wait for preheat, versatile : you can choose a lot of different kinds of stem to modify your experience, etc etc... AND simplicity : which for me enhance the vaporizing experience compare to have to deal with bags, whips, batteries...

So why did I choosed the Hi over any other? I won't talk much for the PD as I don't own one..

1) The Hi run hotter than PD at 12v but you can still buy some VVPS or other VV accessories (check on the forum) to get more voltage control. In the other hand you can always get a lower temp by having more distance between load and heater.
2) The Hi is more durable and user replaceable (heaters, etc..)
3) The Hi is a one-man made craftsmanship which evolute with the time : just read the thread !
Now you can choose a Stainless Steel heater cover or a glass one or an Hibrid one (glass and SS sleeve) + any wood you would like to.
4) The Hi is the most tiny and small and of course you can still ask for a custom made but I'm pretty sure Alan (Heat Island creator) is making the most tiny and finest log actually existing.

There is probably much more things to tell but some else will have pleasure to answer you, I'm sure.. Also I don't own my Hi yet so I can't talk to much, hehe

Let me start by saying I have no experience with the nano so I can't really compare anything to that.

If you want one right away, you can rule out the HI as there is a long wait list (8+ months last I knew). It is definitely worth the wait though.

I am currently on my second HI. I had one, then I won an underdog so I ended up trading my HI for some glass and regretted it almost immediately, but I ended up with another one just recently thanks to the classifieds.

While the UD is great, there is just something about the HI, some intangible quality, that made it better for me than the UD. There definitely are some advantages to the HI such the simple design and user replaceable core which also makes it easier to clean as well as the higher temperature, but I have a vvps so I can run my UD just as hot.

Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoy my UD as well and there is something to be said for the immediate availability. Side by side in a blind test, I doubt most people would be able to tell the difference between between a UD or HI, especially with a vvps.

So far I am pretty sold on the HI and have requested to be added to the wait list. Someone convince me otherwise.

Be sure to check the e-nano as well. And the Lotus too.

ok, you already checked the nano. Check the Lotus then. I find it surprisingly pleasant and it is so quick to use that it is my go to unit lately.
