@THC SCIENTIFIC Hey G, are the Okeanos-specific TI KISS carts going to be going up for pre-order as well and if so, will they be covered in the offered deal? I'm stoked as hell for the TI carts but I usually only use water filtration.

ur talking about the original white rod? sucks! its not covered under warranty? I was planning on getting the new 74 rod but I love my orig one but def sounds like a good idea incase of a bad incident like the one u hadMy white rod brokeand I'm trying my best to wait for the new one.. But I don't think my best is good enough!

One of the problems I had with the cloud vape was that the oil or wax or shatter would move off the coil, forcing you to move the oil back on the coil with a dabber after every hit. Is this problem apparent with the kiss cart?

It's worse with the kiss cart. I made the comparison about 10 pages back (don't really want to look for it right now). The kiss cart's coil is elevated above a ceramic cup so when it does fall off your oil is stuck down below the coil. You can grab a dabber and scrape the cup to reclaim oil but that's too much work in my book ... guess I'm not really a "load as you go" kinda guy tho. More like load and get 20 - 30 blasts to the face before I have to do anything

Yeah they discussed this in another thread of a similar product. The ceramic rod thats used in place of a wick is not as good at absorbing so your oil will "run away" faster than if your using a cart with a wick.It's worse with the kiss cart. I'm currently running the persei at 7.4v with a 5 ohm cart that came with it, and it sucks. It had that mechanical oil taste, so before loading I burned it off as I was instructed to do so. Then loaded the cart, and when I take really,really small hits it's fine, but when I take a medium or decent hit, it tastes bad. I do really like how I can throw a g in and not have to load it for a good 2 weeks. Would new 2 ohm carts fix this problem? Or is the sr74 the only cart that works?

I'd go sr74 ... the standard carts were never my favorite either.
The fix is coming for the oil pooling up in the bottom so just bare with me guys.

Ah. I wanted to get the ss kit and kiss cart for a small set up. How much oil can sit under the coil? Would you recommend the the standard cart over the kiss?

Prolly like a half gram or so for the SR series. The KISS carts are load-as-you-go, so think dab-sized bits of oil. The standard carts can hold around .7 but split it up between a couple hundred hits or so. The standard carts are good for the runnier oils, if you have stuff like CO2 oil basically. The KISS cart likes more stable oils like budder/taffy/shatter/etc and the runny stuff will kinda melt down into the cup (my experience with similar carts).

Awesome. When do you think it will be made? Anytime soon? I want to order an ss kit and kiss cart for a stealth set up, but if it's not going to be fixed in a month, id just order some standard carts and wait for the fix.
I have to check on something and then will let you know.
As far as the ss kit goes I hope you understand it's not a stand alone vape.

im assuming this is prob mentioned but cant find it but thinking two 18490's would work with stock persei tube attached to shorty of the ss kit? as long as the bottom spring is not affected. anybody have any experience with this?

-that metallic taste goes away the 5ohm carts were kinda notorious 4 that taste but promise will go away at least always does for me. I tend to pre oxidize the 5ohm carts with a few dry hits at 3.7v to not warp bottom insolater and cause a leak. i only dry fire the 5ohm tho

I snapped it in half removing the coil
Felt pretty dumb afterward and gave up on getting a replacement considering I snapped it in half I doubt it will be covered.
