Many thanks for the greats comments and support. We are in motion to send many replacements over the week. Working over time trying to make everyone satisfied.

I'm glad, but I wrote an email 10 days ago and still no one answered me

but i was talking to nitr8...?
Ya, I shouldn't have jumped in there. Apologies.

Their QC or manufacturing is still in bad shape after all this time… I would return it immediately, my 250$ vaporizer,if it looked like this! I also wonder how this company can still be in business. Promises and bad excuses are all they do since they made the XP… :disgust: Oh yeah, and ruining the vape on the way. Why the hell did they remove that shoulder of the capsules??? My brother is waiting for a working unit for so many months now that I have lost track of time… Last two XP's that were shipped to him were shipped to the wrong address! And it happened to me in the past as well. It seems like a couple of kids are running the company. Not at all professional… Not at all sincere! I would change the name of the company and start all over from a blank page if I was in their position.
Best post yet.

Yet another double post! Sorry Mods.

mod note: *sigh*

I have 2 inhalators, the original and the xp first or second edition, cant remember. anyway both of them are fucked, they don't heat anymore and do the flashy led for a few secs then nothing. has anyone attempted to fix this themselves on an out of warranty unit??. ive had to go back to using my pax, which is good, but I still prefer the inhalator. I would be interested in trying to fix them myself as I think they are both out of warranty now, and as I moved to Ireland its too time consuming to send them back and forth to Canada or wherever they go.

I received a replacement from the Q3 batch when they 1st lowered the Max Temp setting.....and I now have had the most recent Q4 batch for 2 weeks and I have since enjoyed the following ;
1. The HEAT is back and I can now extract the CBNs in my final run....Yeah..!

2. The USB port is cleaned up nicely and does appear to be sturdy...

Nice, what I was hoping for.. I love the fact @Inhalater takes our complaints/opinions and applies changes. I will probably request an upgrade because my USB port has been acting a bit funny anyway. I have to move the XP bit or turn the knob on and off to get the charge going. Still my daily driver, I'm using the Q3 model most the time..

Yes I have been able to repair a unit that had suffered the same fate I believe... It appeared to begin it's normal start up but it wasn't able to heat so it would shut down at a period of time......
The trouble with attempting to work on these earlier batches... differing things were done to address issues along the way so you will very likely run into things being glued making disassembling near impossible without breaking something.......
There are additional things to be careful of like; cap w or w/o retaining screw, early versions of the ribbon cable very fragile.....yea you really need to understand how it was assembled and even then it is very easy to break it further or more completely......
Should you successfully gain access to the inside the only issue that I was actually able to repair was the issue where the heating chamber cannot heat because it has lost connection to the 1 or both of the posts it is soldered to...... and I can tell you it was a royal pain in the ass to get it to reattach with my small soldering iron {pencil}......now the sad news in my case I was able to finally after several failed attempts....I got it to stay soldered and it was now heating up while all apart on the bench in front of me.....yep thats correct.....once I attempted to reassemble the whole thing again.... I must have shorted something out..... I made sure by taking it all back apart again and the chamber had stayed connected and I had now broken it more or actually ...completely.....
I know how you feel.... and if it's out of warranty and you still wish to try.... I can give you a few things to watch out for while taking it apart if you like.....

I would like to recommend that you at least ask Greg to see if he feels he could possible repair it for you..... he has posted in the past that he has had a better track record repairing the earlier revision models and I think the INH1004 was even a bit better but I'm sure availability of still having or being able to get the older parts might be an issue...... Greg is your guy to give you the best coarse of action by far........so please give him a shout out at admin@inhalater.com

i wanted to post this reaponse from Taylor at The Other Side Vapes regarding warranty/replacement XPs.

"We haven't heard from them in several weeks, and don't anticipate getting any new inventory soon. They are also no longer responding to customers' requests for warranty service. At this time we are offering store credit to those who have a defective device still covered under warranty."

so unfortunately it sounds like a replacment XP is out of the question at this point. i suppose im going for a refund... im disappointed to say the least because my XP was an amazing vape. it appears that pharmacor just cant get things straightened out. a shame because of the potential.

We'll shoot, deep down I really wanted this vape to work out. At this point I am very happy I went my other choice but I always come back to this thread hoping they have worked it out.

At this point though, it's still a waiting game.

Does anyone with PlanetVape know if this is also the case?

If you bought an item at a reputable location such as PlanetVape, the Inhalater XP will be covered regardless of whether the Manufacturer quits.
If a place has 1/2 the ethics of PlanetVape.... you are covered!

im not saying that pharmacor is done making the XP or anything like that. just wanted to share what one of the reputable retailers knows/thinks about getting a replacement.
I'm honestly not surprised at this point. I emailed the guy to report a broken unit on December 10th. On the 11th, I got a reply asking for the serial number to which I replied. Then nothing until January 7th saying that "my replacement did not ship as expected."

I had not provided Greg with my address nor had I shipped my defective unit to him.

I emailed back immediately asking him for clarification and I haven't heard anything since.

It really is a shame as I really liked both the inh004 and then my xp. If I could get honest communication from the guy and some kind of reliable repair process, I'd have zero problem buying another one as a backup, it used to be my daily driver. At this point, after doing a lot of research, it looks like I'm going to go with a pnp. I was able to get a water tool on the cheap a while back and the pnp is going for a buck fifty on massdrop.

Hello

Things are rolling: sent quite a few replacements last week. Expected to ship another 5-10 this week. Then list will be pretty much done with. oufff. That batch of XP has been a hard toll!

Working for the best

Cheers :-)

Replying to customers emails will keep people reasonably happy and it only takes a few seconds.

I haven't received a reply from you's since 7th December! Just want to know was my unit received / what is its status?

Pharmacor has been in contact with me to replace my unit
Same here
Patience has been a virtue, and rewarded..
I need to tell you all something that I have learned by working with Vape Makers.....
A significant number of them are patients!
That is why they made the commitment to sell vapes.
I am not going to sit here and "out" all of the sellers that are actually ill to some degree.. but rest assured...
There are cancer survivors, and active chemo patients, MS patients, and a number of Intestinal disorder patients.... and more.
That being said, we all know that you can not speak before walking a mile in a man's shoes.
The customer in general is used to shopping at stores, or from corporations, that are run by many, and have well oiled mechanisms in place.
It hurts me when I see lack of patience when customers want immediate response from a "One Man Operation".... when they do not know the man's physical condition.
Personally, when I am unwell, my world around me ceases to function for that time. This includes mailings, and visits from patients that have issues.
This is not a parental lecture.
I just know that patience is needed here.
We need Inhalater to provide us with a great tool...
Love you all.... stay medicated

i am waiting for inhalater to get back on track and send replacements that work flawlessly for this bacht because i want to send one of my units back for refurnish (maybe both) . Until now i was afraid that i would send a unit that is properly producing vapor but has other problems (visual, charging etc) and get back a more defective unit :p...the people who get replacements if possible report back for the replacement condition please if possible!i wish you all get perfectly working and flawless units!

Getting on top! Have more time to hang around here :-) . Email list is clean. Let me know if somehow your mail got lost.

Shipped another 10 replacements today. Still 30 to go. Then hourra! Will keep everything timely: emails, orders, repairs and replacements. Production is now structured. Delivery will be predictable.

Then it's marketing time :-)

Looking forward to promotions and sponsorhips. Getting to travel around and meet all the great peoples and have some fun!

I know of a hempfest in San -Diego, the Treating Yourself show in Toronto, Spanabis: have to be a couple of shows in WA and CO! ? Cannabis cup in Amsterdam and out on the west coast too.

Anyone have any suggestions of cool places to be for fun and business? Will compile and put a list of the venues on the Inhalater website.

The PNP is a great choice and should make you very happy.
