Man, I remember Chip's first game with the Ducks when Blount punched that kid after the Boise State game and put him down . . . :ko:

^ That's fucked up! He fits right into the patRiots though.

The chargers only gained 45 yards in the first half, down by two TD's...
...they need one hellofa halftime speech!

If the above ^ holds I will be 4/4 today,
but next week will be much tougher.
I want to see the 49ers play the patriots but I fear that it may be seattle vs. denver.

The 49ers have a great chance though!

Anybody but the 49ers. They beat my Panthers today and they're #1 through 10 on my shit list. :argh: I'm a Russell Wilson fan so Go Seahawks!

San Fran vs Seattle. Now THAT'S a rivalry game that's gonna be fun to watch, eh? Bet there's gonna be some penalties thrown in that game.

The last time manning took a super bowl berth away from brady, the difference was a player that new england had decided they couldn't afford anymore. Adam vinatieri (mr. clutch), the hero of so many close new england victories, kicked a field goal in ot for indy, or as the clock ran out in regulation (can't remember exactly) after new england missed one.

Next week, wes welker could play that same kind of difference-making role for manning.
Just saying that we've got a couple of great games coming up:popcorn:

They should just skip this round, mere formality...

Lol, just my opinion and don't wish this to be the Super Bowl. My favorite pro football teams haven't won in my lifetime. I'm thinking its a fitting pick as they are the legal states! Pats are least FC friendly in this aspect...

ok college football fans its almost that time of year again! We rekindle our hopes and look to the future, analyzing, wondering. This will be the first year of the new playoff format and with that format comes a new trophy. Apparently the "Torch" can be taken from the base and held aloft. The crystal football will be awarded to the team at the top of the final coaches poll of the season.

May I unveil the new National Championship Trophy: Strange how it kinda looks like an "Oregon" "O" :D

College football has become bizare. Everyone cares about the SEC, yet in pro sports, SEC areas barely register.
Then you have weird things like the Pac-12 or whatever happened w/ the ACC.

My college recently went from Div 1-a / FCS to straight Div-1 and promptly hired a horrible coach that had to get fired 2 years later, and then they hired a previously successful 1-A coach.

The "reasons" for going Div 1 was "cost/money" and because there was no money in Div 1a but travel was still expensive. But there is no money when NO ONE literally NO ONE buys tickets to the games.

Maybe they felt sorry for the Duckies. You know since they have never won the big one...

Here is a taste of what is gong to be runnin' at ya . . . ;)

Devon Allen didn’t “just” win the NCAA championship in the 110-meter hurdles. First off, there is no such thing as “just” winning at this level. You’ve got to be an absolute stud to pull it off. Next, there’s the little detail that he also broke the meet record. How big of a deal is that? Well, the previous meet record was held by one Aries Merritt, who happens to be the reigning Olympic champion and also the world record holder in the event. Oh yeah, he is a freshman . . . :D

AND lets us not forget #24 Thomas Tyner coming back for his second year . . .

And last but not least, Byron Marshall. All under the leadership of Gary Campbell, one of the finest RB coaches in history and with our beloved Ducks for 31 years . . . :luv:

I wish you guys luck . . . ;)

Edit: We do have another coming in "under the radar" so to speak. A man among boys, a beast.
