So a follow up to my previous post.

Of course, the one on the left is my dome, the one on right is stock.

Sorry for the video quality, couldn't get the lighting right, couldn't adjust the exposure, my CB was dirty, and then by take 10 I was really medicated, :smug:.

Stock screen, you can see the vapor around the outer edges. Not much through the middle. If you notice, your screens are always dirty around the edges of the cap, never on the top of the cap, the flat spot.

Dome screen. As you can see, the vapor is coming right down the middle.

I don't know if you can hear the difference, the ELB screen is much finer so it sounds more restricted.

Is the cloud really as great as they make it sound. Im not too big on believing what a company has to say about its own product, they tend to lean toward one side. So if anybody has their own personal opinions on it I would like to hear what you guys where thinking because I actually want to buy one of these.

Any direct answer to this question would be opinion, and fairly worthless. It is a certainty that the Cloud model has been discontinued, so it wouldn't be prudent to pay anywhere near "full retail" value for it. The Evo is this brand's current model. It is fairly new, so the thread isn't quite as impossibly huge! :tup:

I just bought a used cloud, and was wondering the same thing...I can say it really is an incredible vape to use with a glass piece(I don't have a hydratube ...yet) I haven't posted much about it because everyone is onto the EVO, but I can say the Cloud makes me really feel it in the eyes, if you know what I mean. I have only owned it for a week or so but am really enjoying(Volcano is lonely!) I wished I could've tried before buying, but am VERY please with my Cloud so far.

If I only had access to my Cloud ticker the rest of my life...I would be completely satisfied! :nod:

If the EVO proves itself even beter...well...what more could I ask for? :shrug:

Looking forward to my trade in...hopefully later this month. :tup:

My Cloud+ is running hotter this last days than before, yesterday evening I was really near to combust at a little bit more than 1 pm, abv was really dark with a black spot and last draw was really harsh, before I get a so dark abv at 2 or 3 pm...

Is it a bad sign?

It could be. I would clean and inspect your bamboo for any signs of damage and retest using a clean ELB.

I tried many times to clean this fuckin' bamboo but I wasn't able to take off all...
I tried iso with q-tips, and brushs, nothing work, though there is no fumes coming out the bamboo and I can't see any damage (it never fall)

I'm crossing my fingers....

I done that and it no leak air at all:clap:

perhaps I packed too much my elb when I was near to combust...I remenber that it was a full elb (habitually I fill it 1/4 or 1/3)

That test works well for finding Clouds that have a large crack that extends all the way through the bamboo. For ones with smaller cracks, or cracks on the bamboo rings, they will still be sealed pretty well. Have you noticed it getting hotter than normal on the outside?

I never had any combustion issues whatsoever until my Cloud cracked, and then it was combusting at the setting it usually made great clouds at. It's not a death sentence though, you can turn it down and it will run relatively near the temperature it ran at before. I still use mine every day

Yes, it seems hotter in the hand and i get a dark abv at 1 o'clock and a massive clouds production, I got this results at 2 o'clock or more, so it might be cracked somewhere.... but it works!

I have honestly been able to FUCK COMBUSTION! with the Cloud, My wife and I had a nightly ritual of burning a doobie, joint(whatever you call it where you are!), but now the Cloud is our definite go to for nightime(morning for me too!:smug:) I can't believe how little material is needed for desired affect!

I need to focus more on using smaller amounts. Since I received it, I usually go 1/3 ELB. But I do love the full ELB smackdown!

The Cloud is on whenever I am in the studio, and has become the perfect companion for painting and being able to medicate on demand. I can literally drop in the pre-loaded ELB, hit it with brushes and pallet in both hands, of course leaving the Cloud on the table only moving the HT. 10 seconds max (depending on how ripped I would like to be :brow:) and I'm back to painting.

Just got to say that my Ticker is still doing wonderful. Besides my 7th Floor Products and Volcano lacking when paired up with water tubes I found them to be very lacking when used with different botanical blends or legal herbs if you will.

With my Cloud I am finally able to experiment with different botanicals and get great results. I'm really enjoying loading up an ELB 3/4 of the way with a raspberry leaf, eucalyptus, and lavender blend. I get wonderful tastes and nice vapor production at around the 10 o clock (my Cloud runs hot) setting on my cloud.

Thanks for making the perfect vape for my preferences and desires. Now if you VapeXhale guys could just release your Botanical Blends, I'd be real happy.:brow: I've been so intrigued with the Allergy Vaporganix. Actually I'm really intrigued with all three of the blends you've had listed on the site since the get go!!

Wanted to post and also say my Ticker is still working great! I think it's nearly 2 years old now! SN500 still vaping strong! I ended up trading in my Circ HT for the Swagger showercap. Definitely is my HT of preference, very little water and gives huge flavor!

I'm also loving how the EVO has come along. Things are looking good for VXL :spliff:

Cloud+ died this morning RIP. The usual wouldn't turn green/heat up issue...after 6 months of i'd say fairly heavy usage between 12 on the dial all the way up to max, but typically around 1-3:00. I had a feeling this was going to happen, but it just kept going and going so I thought maybe I got lucky.

Time to move over to the EVO thread. The Cloud has been the best vaporizer i've ever used.
