By the way, do you know if verdampftnochmal.de will at some point offer accessories (http://www.lotusvaporizer.com/catalog/4) ?

Little question to finish : Is there a real performance difference between the old and the new versions ? Or are we only talking here about design improvements like bigger chamber capacity, stirring stick and magnets ?
Verdampftnochmal will not be offering accessories soon.Contact them directly if you think they should be.
The present model has a third plate in the vapor cap that mostly eliminates radiation heating of the bowl.
Regarding double and triple torches, I don't recommend them. They make it way too easy to overheat the Lotus, leading to a broken hot plate and charred frame.

Why would you want to torch it without the bowl attach and overall not inhalating when you torch, it is false operating imo. The lotus belongs to a high temperature balance since the air inhale and the heat applied by a torch on the plate are both fonctionnal. Which means you have to inhale to operate lotus.

I took the bowl off so I could test to make sure it was off-gassing, and surely enough it was... I'm not an idiot haha...

For USPS at least, tracking in the foreign country costs a ton of money. However, most services for international can track up to the border. I doubt that you would get any more information from this point on. I believe the only whole tracking Intl service is Express Intl.

Hopefully it comes soon!

Did you try lowering a bit , it might be to high and its putting itself out, also make sure that the little spark is sparking, if not the pizzio element probably went bad.
Now the flame lights for half a second but goes out. The weird thing is now it isn't lighting with a lighter either. It's sparking and it sounds like gas is coming out, but otherwise no luck.

Thats very weird ,I had this happen on a double torch , one side perfect other side starting acting up, I inserted a needle in the flame hole carefully & not to puncture the little silicone hoses inside feeding the gas. It happened to work for me , might try it and see if it helps.

Try and turn the screws a little tighter, fill the lighter to the top and try a slow press of the button.

That is what i did when that happened with mine, not sure if it was the same problem. I also played a bit with the flame output.

The second one is how long in your hands?

do you use the honest lighter with the 1,6cm flame? And also, how long do you usually heat the plate?

Anyone else have a complete lighter failure? I've only had my lotus <2 months but the honest lighter just crapped out. It was working perfectly fine up until this morning when I noticed it was empty. Tried to refill but the lighter wouldn't accept the butane. At this point I noticed all the cracks:

Prior to noticing the cracks I cleaned it with 91% ISO since yesterday it fell into a dirty food bowl. The lighter's been dropped a few times but nothing crazy so I tend to think the cracks were caused by chemical stress to the plastic.

IIRC, ISO degrades plastics (acrylics?) over time. I believe this phenomena happens with acrylic bongs too, which is why I'm always nervous to apply ISO on plastics, even though it comes in plastic bottles. :p

Yeah, it seems the ISO ruined the lighter. It might even be dangerous to fill it at this point.

The newest wpa is supposed to have a magnet? The one I just got from ezvapes does not seem to have one.

When did you get the WPA? Does it have a little circle on the outside of the chamber?

The magnet is not very strong to begin with. Put the cap on the WPA, hold the bottom of the WPA so that it's the top piece. If the cap doesn't stay on, you definitely don't have the newest one.

I use a vapman lighter with 1.6 cm flame now with the WPA 3.0.

A shorter flame was necessary with WPA 1.0 (shorter). WPA 2.0 is WPA 3.0 s/o magnet.
How long are your hits mate?

Been using a variant of this lighter:

http://www.miniinthebox.com/cigarette-cigar-pipe-torch-butane-lighter-black_p197973.html

Works like a charm way better than the Honests I have laying around. For the price above, I ordered three of them and got free shipping.

I have been having my eyes in this one for some time now. Is it really that good? Does it hold a steady flame? Can you adjust the flame with your fingers only? Does it hold more butane than the Honests? :D

It's not the perfect lighter. It seems to work only at it's highest setting, which is fine by me as this has turned out to be the ideal setting for the Lotus. I've also had issues getting it so it works consistently after a refill. Maybe it needs to be bled. I'm interested in seeing if my new ones work any differently.

But....the flame is a little bigger than the Honest making it not too hot, not too cold but just right for hitting the Lotus. I personally think a double or triple torch would be way too much, so this is a happy medium. I also really like the ergonomics of the lighter. It's more comfortable to hold than an Honest sized lighter and the actuator is easier to depress and hold. It's big enough to hold across your four fingers, but easily and discretely fits in a pocket. It falls in between an honest and chef's torch in terms of size. Very solid construction and a fill lasts me much longer than the Honest by factor of 3X.

I paid too much for my first one ($29), but for $13 you can't really go wrong.
