Got my Buddha a week ago and haven't combusted since. This thing is great. It's my first vape, so I can't compare it to anything, but I just love how the buddha works. Now, what portable to get... :)

The Buddha is really amazing. I was afraid of a long learning curve but it pretty much worked from the first hit. The vapor is also much smoother than I had expectet. Just sucks the water cooler got deliverd broken (I orderd the 450 bucks mega package), wonder if some h2o can help with stronger hits. Lets hope they replace it (and also send me the correct vapor tamer, my duff jar and my pick...those 7th Floor guys ).

Does anybody know if the 7th Floor office is currently on vacation? I sent them an e-mail on the 30th of december and haven't heard back from them yet. Tried contacting the via phone the past 2 days without any luck. :(

They are not on vacation, but have moved to a new location.
The new spot had many issues to start off with.. including being in a dead zone...
No cell reception, and no wireless computer signals.
Their old manner was to use all phones forwarded to cells as nobody there stays in one spot.. everyone works... and "desks/workstation" were somewhat transient.
As they got the phone thing settled, they changed some of the key employees.
Email at this time would likely serve better than phone calls.
I hope they respond fast this time.

I've had my DBV for about 10 months now. I have mostly used it with a 14/14 m/m gg adapter as the wand, and that worked exceptionally well at conserving bud. I went from 3.5g/day smoking to 3.5g/wk using the DBV with the smaller bowl.

About a month ago I got a bubbler (DHgate D020 being discussed in "Cheap Hi Quality Bubbler???") which includes a 18/18 m/m gg adapter for the glass nail. Just the day before yesterday I thought to myself, "Why not use the 18mm adapter as the bowl and attach it directly to the DBV making 100% glass vapor path (besides screen).

This freaking works great. I get massive, great tasting hits without having to deal with a whip. Yeah, I could get an LSV, and I've actually been considering either an LSV or a Sub, but this setup works so well for me that the LSV is off the table. I load the adapter and set it in the bubbler. With the bubbler in my right hand I pick the DBV up in my left and attach to the adapter and hit away. Much better flavor than when using the whip and the hits are thicker also. It's also easier to clean because it's so small, and not attached to a whip.

I had been using my Solo w/the same bubbler for about a month and enjoyed the great taste and low maintenance of the unit to the point where I wasn't using the DBV much. Now that I'm using my current setup with the DBV, I will only use my Solo when I go to friends.

Da Buddha rules, at least until I get my Sub.

Wish they still made these, they where so cheap. Just find a way to get your DBV HC to fit, :). They currently make the Hakko FX-601, that has a built in Rheostat for precise temperature control, but it's $78.

Would be much easier to pick up than the DBV unit, hah.

My wax will be ready next week!!! I'm ordering the oil set up for my dbv I was wondering do I keep the ceramic flavor disc in there? Is it better cuz I don't see the need... Or should I save the $$ and use my atmos raw?

After several days of using my "big heavy clumsy LSV" I will never switch back. I find the hits much, much tastier, bigger, and I have no problems handling the unit. Perhaps if I had some medical problem, which rendered me unable to use my arms normally, I would have a problem; but that is not the case.

In fact, for me, it is much easier to use the DBV this way than with the whip. I don't have an LSV to compare it to, but the fact that the DBV has a base makes it seem like it would be more convenient to place down once you have taken your hit.

Purchased a DBV oil kit this past weekend. Noticed today that I was actually double charged. I contacted 7th Floor customer support, but unfortunately got told bluntly to contact my bank, without any type of explanation or reasoning for what happened. Now, I'm not new to online purchasing, but isn't it common practice for the seller to issue a refund if they double charge a customer? Making me deal with the hassle of going through ANOTHER customer support only to clean up another person's mistake. Outrageous.

I can't say that I am too happy about the experience and did not expect such poor service from such a highly regarded company here on FC. In any case, I am only really after their product, but if I had another vaporizer, I'd be taking my money elsewhere. Hopefully, the oil kit will change my mind.

Message may have been misinterpreted.
I have a feeling that they were trying to tell you that they did not double bill you, but rather that it was the banks error.

Dude, keep calm and contact you bank. The exact same thing happend to me and it was my banks fault (they even admitted it). 7th Floor can't refund you if they don't have your money. At least for me that was the case.

I suppose we will see what the case is when I contact the bank tomorrow.

Message misinterpretation is exactly why an explanation or reasoning should be given. I literally received 2 short sentences as a response, one of which had nothing to do with my inquiry. I mean, I understand if they are busy, but the whole point of customer support is to assist customers and avoid unsatisfactory experiences. To allow a customer to get frustrated over something that could have been avoided by explaining the case in one sentence is unacceptable.

If the bank is at fault, I have nothing to say about the double charge. If anything an apology may be in order for pointing fingers. I cannot say the same thing about my customer service experience. In any case, I look forward to trying out the oil kit. I have high expectations.

I have taken the liberty of forwarding both of your posts and the responses in between to the guys at 7th Floor, with a note concerning the thinking that is going on around here.
This will be resolved, with no doubt.
It is too bad they did not take time to explain things more carefully.
