The Cloud EVO Anticipation Thread

See, this is what I'm talking about.
All *US*/*110v*/*Non-International* IGG orders will be fulfilled...

But as per the IGG update today, we've got about 3 more weeks to wait.
:horse:

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate all the updates, especially the much more direct intl updates coming through IGG recently, but I think some of my frustrations at the wait are stemming from all the updates that refer to all EVO orders (either directly or implicitly) are really actually just updates on US (and I'm guessing canada?) orders.

/vent

On a more positive note,
Sounds like the firmware issues have been resolved, sending good vibes your way that it'll be the last hurdle the EVO has to jump.

Yes We are speakng about 110, the 220 Units we are working to get done ASAP. Updates about 220 to come on IGG.

No email for this early bird. I thought they were going in some kind of order. How does an early bird get in the last batch to be sent out?

Ok, so I should expect an email today with shipping info? Or "possibly"...
I have no idea where I am in line (trade in), but I know it wasn't "late" as I watched the campaign for a while after I contributed.

Update from Philly Team:

A very large number of IGG contributors should have received their Email. Good news, if we ship the same amount of units as we did today tomorrow. Then all IGG orders will be fulfilled. We are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I will let you guys know at the end of the day tomorrow if we achieved what I stated above or not.
My shipping email just came! WHOO-HOO!!! No tracking info yet, but the email came!

I have been the butt of many a joke in my circle of friends for putting up that money without ever trying or even knowing someone who has tried the product.

For only $250 for a top shelf desktop vape? That's lower priced than most. + a 1 year warranty. Weren't Volcanos like $700 back in the old days?

I paid $600 for a PS3 back in 2006ish, and that shit YLOD'd after a couple of years.

After about the 30th time trying to explain why I still don't have anything to show them I finally gave up.

Show them kickstarter.com or mention Half Life 3

Yup, I hyped it up all through Oct. I've been trying to remain positive. A few of my "friends" keep trying to say I was scammed and that I should have just bought a volcano or aromed with the money. I'm really hoping to shut them up once I have it...

It's not contest IMO. The Volcano is much larger, totally different tech (Balloon etc..) Evo is designed for glass from ground up.

Early Bird Straight HT here and I got my shipping notice last night

I contributed on the last day if that matters any. Hopefully everybody sees emails shortly

I contributed in July and still nothing. :(. Very concerned right now. Don't understand why I am getting skipped over.

As someone who was in the same boat, I would suggest that you not be so concerned :) When you signed up for IGG isn't really a factor in when deliveries happen. No one is being "skipped" it's just a bunch of units being tested and packed.

Tons of people got their units before mine arrived, and tons will get theirs after, including you! I have faith.

Also I believe later units have a lower chance of having the 'narrow dial range' issue that mine has. Your firmware will be better!

Is there any point in this thread? It has turned from anticipation to people just moaning about shipping notices.

I just thought the trade ins and early birds should be pleased that they will be receiving their units before the international fanatics! And it's just full of them moaning and feeling hard done by. The units are coming.

My tracking info says "Not found". Anyone else?
I know tracking isn't always reliable, especially the initial day of the shipment.

OK disagree with me, I can't force you to be right

The tracking number is generated when they create the shipping label. No actual FedEx tracking is available until the item has actually been physically picked up and scanned into FedEx by either the driver or the hub when the driver unloads. It could easily be later tonight before the FedEx page shows anything.

Almost there...
Heres to hoping that this EB contributor gets his e mail tomorrow!!!

According to IGG i contributed 6 months ago, so the end of June or early July 2013.

One more sleep and some good luck will hopefully see an EVO e mail!

kinda upset that it seems like they shipped out the igg batches in reverse order. from top to bottom of the igg donators list. the people that donated first are all the way at the end!

That may "seem" to be the case, but it is most assuredly not.

They shipped them out the cool dudes first. Coolness was defined by how epic your mustache is!

If anyone has questions about shipping, fedex and tracking, just go a few pages back in this thread, or search Fedex, we had a bil ole discussion about it and a bunch of people posted some good info on FedEx HD etc...

Mine should get here soon! Showing as shipped from PA today, and I live just outside of DC. If it takes days and days the routing will be weird...

This early bird hasn't gotten his email while some trade ins have....so it would "seem" that they are not following the order they originally stated....just my :2c:

I think the hang up on early birds has always been the glass. They are probably actually ahead on actual EVO units to ship so they went ahead with HT-less shipping while waiting on the glass, which I gather is in or expected in this week.

edit: I was an Early Bird bent neck so was lucky enough to get mine a while back. But it has enough problems (temp problems, combustion, erratic shutoff times) that I will be sending it back for the firmware, etc upgrade/repair. The batches going out now have those bugs worked out hopefully so may, in the end, be the better deal.

If that's the case swagger has the slowest glass blowers in history....

Don't know how many glass blowers they have or how many VapeXhale has commissioned, but they may well have other customers they are creating glass for too. Unless you can make every single component of your product yourself you are always at the mercy of circumstances that befall your suppliers.
