Hello everyone! Super n00b here too. Proud owner of a MFLB and I also own a pax. Not really feeling that Pax but I love the boxy :)

Did not begin smoking until sophomore year in college, found this website about a year later (but did not suscribe yet) and was really enticed by the idea of being able to use cannabis without harsh smoke/harming my lungs. And now here I am :D

Hi all :)

Just joined today.Am from the UK,29 started vaping in December 2013.I started vaping because I wanted to quit smoking cigs, was originally going to quit after my 30th but had to have my appendix out at short notice was in for a week and most painful part of recovery was coughing and seeing all the grim phlem.
Unfortunate for me my phone isn't great at typing in this box,had to take off the predictive text to type ive an S3.Anyhow back on track decided to buy a vape bought a Puffit X (which melted this week) and it didn't seem to get me high just gave me headache and plastic taste.Id only ever tried a volcano before in Amsterdam and that worked ;) Had to have lots for it too work.Even so I tried a blunt and didn't like the taste so looked around some more on youtube and came across vape critic and his hate of the puffit.Had a look at his site then splashed out on a plenty.Found myself going through to much too quickly with plenty then came here browsed through about the plenty and looking at the other Puffit stuff learnt how to draw without the big fan blowing as the Puffit instructions were poor.

Loved the debates and all the great info just wish I had come here before buying a portable. Its taken me a long time typing my phone doesnt like navigating the page and its hard work hence its now another day now since I started this intro haha.

Welcome to all you newcomers! I'm always thrilled when I see new people who've made the switch to vapor. :D

But watch out.... rumor has it that you will also acquire VAS (vaporizer acquisition syndrome) which often leads to AAS (accessory acquisition syndrome) which inevitably leads to GAS (glass acquisition syndrome). :uhoh: And if I am any indication.... it's all true!!!!

Thanks for the welcome mom.

So True, already amassing a new bounty of goodies. I "think" I have my bases covered for vaping with the gear on the way, but I'm sure I'll be acquiring more gear. I'm a collector, so it's inevitable. Why fight it. :D

Hello all!
I'm 22 and had been smoking analog for the better part of 6 years until i bought an Atmos Optimus early December and have been combustion free since. It also came with dry herbs and wax chamber as well so I've cut combustion of flowers out completely. I had tried NJoy kings and Blu disposables but it never made me even think of vaping as anything more than a way to smoke inside. Since owning even just the little ego battery and a few clearomizers I've had more fun (and spent a decent amount of money) than I ever experienced smoking. I recently purchased some Vivi Nova tanks and Kanger pro tanks and a Vamo V5 and feel like this is a new way for me to enjoy everything i liked about cigarettes without the things i disliked about them.

(PS who tried a cigarette after vaping for a bit and thought, "Why the hell would I ever smoke anything that I couldn't pick the flavor again?"

The tVape is interesting that way, in that it's set up to receive a whole rolled commercial cigarette in its heating chamber (without the filter), so you can vape the nicotine out instead of smoking it.

I seriously feel like Im back in school majoring in Herbal Science! I have learned so much from this and similar forums in these past couple of months! For example, who would've guessed that you can get use out of bud you have already vaped! I mean seriously. If that isn't a reason to convert to vapor only, I don't know what is!!

First post, been vaping going on two years. Started with a tristick, worked good for awhile. Then picked up a extra 510 battery as a backup. Also started with ce style clearomizers. The ce4 worked good at first but I felt It was something better out there. I then found the omicron/persei adapter to fit my battery, along with the single extract cartridge. Ive only used for about a week but I can say im impressed and is well worth the extra money. I use oils only. Both 510 batteries broke on me, center post wiggled loose from constant cleaning due to leaking ce4's(top coil). Bought two more 510 batteries but after some research and wanting a persei I wound up buying the vamo v3. This should have been my first vape device but i guess thats my welcome to a new world.

Hey guys, just joined today. I'm in the Seattle area and own a few oil rigs. Looking forward to learning lots here and acquiring more pieces. Currently I'm in the market for a decent sized recycler.

Hey all, very light user, but as a chemist I really can't stand the idea of inhaling combustion products of a complex oil on any sort of reular basis. Been using a friends NO2 and looking for a nice portable vape myself has lead me here, sitting and waiting for deals mostly but also trying to choose the best one out. Really like the look of the Da Vinci for some reason.

Looking forward to interacting with you all more

Ahoy.

New here obviously so I will skip most of the usual new guy posting and get to the point. I joined here because of the lack of childish BS and the good and often very long conversations. Throw in some vendor support and conversation in the threads I have been lurking in (Eds stems, Solo, Extreme Q, Leviathan pipes and the Persie/Omicron) just to name a few I have been doing some good reading. And because of these informative and interactive threads it made it a bit easier to spend some of my hard earned money.

Enough text for now.

Time to walkabout.

Hi everyone, love reading this forum, mature people here almost a connoisseur feel! Really like and respect that. I am originally from Seattle, WA but about 6 years ago moved to Panama in Central America. Been lurking this forum for a good month now. Learning a lot, just wish I started here before going through so much trial and error!

Used to smoke in high school but that was amatuer dumb stuff. Started smoking every night after work about 3 months ago as it really really eases my mind and helps me think straight after 13 hour work days (was diagnosed with bi-polar when younger, although I feel now that was a misdiagnosis I definitely deal with my own personality issues, and I find nightly dosis of MJ extremely helpful). I started out with a plane glass pipe then quickly went to basically the only LHS in this country and picked up a Top Vape plug-in vaporizer+glass whip. I chose that because I was trying to enjoy mj more descreet as I live in a house that my wife and I employ both a full time nanny and full time maid (don't need to be stinking up the place or leaving traces, so if either of them ever found the vaporizer they woulnd't know wtf they were looking at).

Then I got a little more adventurous and bought a small/skinny 12" glass bong with a 4 arm perc, something super basic that I could clean easy and stash easy. After a while we realized that the bong gave us a much difference effect, what I found on this forum the term is "couched" or whatever. Anyways, didn't realize that was the issue right off the bat I thought maybe it was the new meds we bought.

Keeping with the descreet mode I bought a generic vape pen off Ebay. Thing was garbage, I really don't get how it vaporizes anything, it's like smoking your herb off a fucking car lighter. So after a couple of weeks it pretty much died on its own so I tossed it.

I just recieved my first piece of American glass which was the Grav Labs mini bubbler pipe, awesome peice so far even though it is combustion. I then ordered two pieces of chinese glass that I found others had ordered in the Cheap, high-quality bubbler thread. I am hoping to post and converse and see which REAL vaporizer I should get, and start using that and start my first Vape + glass experience.

Being in Panama I am definitely a bit further away from medicine of high quality or even choices (no edibles no oils even hash is extremely hard to come by) so any of that stuff would have to be home made (which prob wouldn't be worth doing with unknown quality herb) I don't get shitty dry brick but I don't get anything near medical I am most positive.

At least this city is very modern for being in Latin America and there are tons of mail fowarding companies so I will always be able to buy in the states and ship down anything I want as far as vaporizers/glass/accessories. The LHS's stuff that is for sale is pretty much pieces and vapes from factories in India and China and even then the selection is minimal.

That's my life story. See you guys on the forums!

Hello everyone, greetings from Holland!

I've been lurking around here for a while, time to introduce myself. I've been using a vaporizer for about 10 months now, starting with the S&B Plenty. At first for two reasons: 1. no tobacco smoking smell in the house and 2. getting more effect from the different available strains here in Holland.

In October I was diagnosed with asthma, so vaporizing kind of became my way to go and no more mixed joints. I also purchased the MFLB, since the Plenty is more of a party vape, to be used with bigger loads. I do love the little vape to get a quick hit. This week I have decided to join the Massdrop for an Arizer Solo for the small sessions.

Seeing as each vape gives a different type of stone / high, I will be using all three of my vapes. Also, I will be looking to use them combined with a bubbler / bong. The MFLB combined with a Weedstar bong gives lovely smooth hits :D Really looking forward to the Solo now.

Guess I should say hello. I was a longtime pipe/rolled smoker, until this past Thanksgiving my cousin showed me a vaporizer. Caught a bad flu just after Christmas and decided to take the plunge; 2 1/2 years ago I quit tobacco (mainly with the help of smoking MJ), so I'm now completely combustion-free! I bought a MFLB on Jan 1, mainly due to helpful information I read here, so thank you FC forum!

1 month in, and I'm already trying to decide on a 2nd vape, hah!

Hi all! New to MM and new to it all really. Looking into getting my first vape. My main issues are persistent nausea (going on 8 years), insomnia, joint pain, fibro/muscle pain, and lack of appetite. Really glad to find a non-smoking community who can help me navigate this new culture ive dropped myself into :)

TIA many (((HUGS))) GenYHippie

Hey GenYHippie. There are many of us who understand that nausea can be the most debilitating foe in the imagination. Blessings to you.
MM is the right thing to be new to at this time, as there will be a world of discovery for you.
good luck.

Hello everyone!

I'm 18 and currently a Freshman in college, vaping keeps me excited and enthusiastic with my learning.
In Alabama so not really the most vapor friendly place, but things are slowly changing. I would love to get a real legalization movement going in the south! Who knows maybe that's why I'm here...
I love the landscape here but have to admit I much prefer the mountainous areas of the west and the west coast (traveled often with family)

My vaporizing life began in my junior year of high school when I ordered a cheap Chinese whip vape off ebay for $30, it broke after 6 months so I cut out the digital "temperature control" (no real temp control, just a voltage regulator) and wired in a dimmer switch. At this point vaping was more of just a novelty and I didn't see it's ability to completely replace combustion. At the start of my senior year I got a Pulsar 7 vape which turned out to be a huge waste of money. After this I looked for info about vapes and found this great place! Shortly after reading a lot of the magic flight thread I bought one, and with that I switched to about 90% vaping (occasional blunt with friends just for the ritual)

I look forward to a great time with the wide world of vapor, this community is an awesome resource. Thanks to all of you seasoned experts out there passing on your knowledge to us young ones;)

Love to you all - Goat

I'll be 50 this year....I had congenital heart failure almost 5 years ago that should have killed me. I'm alive and kicking. I hadn't smoked that much in the last 5 years. My lungs and throat just couldn't take anymore. Though during that period I was always collecting the fine stuff. I got turned on to vaping last summer. I bought a pax..I'll eventually get a volcano. I still have kids in school so I keep it low key. I control it. It doesn't control me

howdy all y'all......breaker breaker and all that jazz. greetings from norCal and believe it or not i am a newbie when it comes to the act and luscious art of vaping. i've smoked the NORMAL way for decades. being that i live in a hotbed area for cannabis afficiados you would think i would be fluent in "vapespeak" but i am not. i am hooked ever since i bought a goldpen 1 at my not-so-local club. i take it to bed with me and yes DAGNABBIT, its akin to a GOLLDARN security blanket IMHO, now that you've asked. i don't know how i happened upon this forum, but ive totally enjoyed reading this stuff the past three days since i joined up. anyhow, i need help finding a stealthy portable model equal to the TetraLabs Gold Pen. i gather that a regular E cigarette model may be modified to use the Pure Gold oil and i DO like that no one knows or smells the "second hand smoke" since its got bioflavinoids in it (limonene is similar to orange oil perhaps?). i love that its easy to use in public cuz its quick easy and potent. i have version one as i stated, but now TetraLabs is mothballing that model and only selling Gold Pen Two along with a bigger volume holding cartridge. their products are sold at clubs or can be bought on line. i signed up on line a few weeks ago (medically recommended). i love my club but its at least 25 miles away (the other nearest one is my former club in SFO, 25 miles to the south). my problem is the customer service at Tetra isn't very thorough, and to reach them its either email or US Mail. they apparently don't have a consumer hotline or anything like that (say like comcast has the CHAT option). i need a PLAN B!!! i know somebody out there in FC forumland is reading this and will be happy to assist me, PLEASE PLEASE HELP. i've always relied on the kindness of strangers. muchas grassyass in advance. sorry for making my introduction a tad longer than necessary. do i seem needy?
