Per IGG update

1 new Announcement
:

Time for an important update. We at VapeXhale have been working very hard to get all of the IGG campaign orders filled, so we can move on to Pre-Orders and general release. However, as you know, we have moved slowly so that we could monitor the first users' experiences in order to identify and resolve any issues that might arise. That has resulted in both VXL and some of you waiting longer than expected to get all the shipments out, and for this you have VXL's apology. Hopefully you understand this needed to be done to ensure a quality experience for all our contributors.

And indeed, a few issues did emerge. But fortunately, the number of units affected has been relatively small and, as a percentage of the total units shipped, we are happy to report that this number is coming down quickly because the issues have been resolved. In short, we have made key improvements in our tooling, in our heater control firmware, and in our assembly process. With these manufacturing enhancements, VXL has begun to ramp up production and so IGG contributors still waiting should be receiving their units within about 2 weeks.

To our international customers, we especially appreciate your understanding and patience. The testing of the international circuitry has progressed nicely, but those electronics are also affected by the improvements cited above so additional time was required to get all of this into technical alignment. The unified testing is nearing completion and, lest we encounter an unexpected surprise, we anticipate those shipments to begin within 3 weeks.

And, for those who wish to use their EVO with concentrates, we can announce today that the new concentrates accessory has completed alpha testing and will shortly move into beta testing by a group of our Fanatics. Planned release is in late Q1/early Q2

For any IGG contributor having a concern with his/her unit, we encourage you to submit a Support Ticket describing your issue. We will respond within 12 hours and will work with you until you have a satisfactory solution. Period.

In summary, I am very pleased with where VXL and the EVO stand right now. The product and our new manufacturing facility have been fine-tuned and so VXL is ready to move into general release upon completion of all IGG and Pre-Order shipments.

The entire VXL team extends a heartfelt thanks to all the IGG contributors for your patience and continued support. We are all the more committed to deliver to you the best possible vaporizing experience.

Any estimates for EVO repairs? Better to have loved and lost...(yeah right) (grumble, grumble)

EVO repairs should be less than a week turnaround.

Oh sweet, only 2 more weeks now..

Of course it's not like we haven't heard that a time or five already. :)

Everyone should RECEIVE their order within that time.

OK disagree with me, I can't force you to be right

Clock is ticking.... I am still skeptical that I will see my EVO within the next two weeks. I seriously hope this thing lives up to all the hype. I have been the butt of many a joke in my circle of friends for putting up that money without ever trying or even knowing someone who has tried the product.

Don't let me down Team VXL!

Funny you should say that. Right after I contributed I made sure to let several of my people know I had something special on the way and to be ready. After about the 30th time trying to explain why I still don't have anything to show them I finally gave up.

Yup, I hyped it up all through Oct. I've been trying to remain positive. A few of my "friends" keep trying to say I was scammed and that I should have just bought a volcano or aromed with the money. I'm really hoping to shut them up once I have it...

. . . I seriously hope this thing lives up to all the hype.

Whose hype? By far and away all the positive feedback has come from new owners.

I have been the butt of many a joke in my circle of friends for putting up that money without ever trying or even knowing someone who has tried the product.

Too bad your friends don't know what "crowd sourcing" means. Perhaps you could school them, including the fact that the contributors are funding a product (or whatever) that does not yet exist. That's the whole idea. So you are ahead of your friends. ;)

Starting when? cuz mine's been in the shop longer than that...

That's because the new firmware that you are awaiting has been going through multiple iterations. VXL feels it has been dialed in to where they want it to be, so now they can move forward. :)

Hey @stonemonkey55 have you guys demo'd the Evo at any of the SF MMJ coops? SPARC for instance does Volcanos on site and they sell PAX and some e-pen stuff. They have all sorts of events and holistic medicine seminars, CBD info days etc...

Just throwing it out there, everytime I go down there there are like 2-5 peeps inside doing the volcano sessions. Those things are huge and the big balloon etc... just looks very 1998. Imagine the thousands of peeps going into SPARC every month seeing EVOs being used

I would looooove to see an EVO at SPARC. However, the volcano is decidedly less fragile (imo) - and no water! However, I bet they wouldn't be opposed to an SF based company (if VXL is still based here)

Would be cool if they'd let you bring in your own glass :brow:

Update from Philly Team:

A very large number of IGG contributors should have received their Email. Good news, if we ship the same amount of units as we did today tomorrow. Then all IGG orders will be fulfilled. We are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I will let you guys know at the end of the day tomorrow if we achieved what I stated above or not.

No email for me yet. Let's hope I get one tomorrow.

I should be right near the end of the IGG shipments. Mine is a trade-in and I did it on the last couple of days of the promotion.

So...I'll let you guys know when I get my email. That should give everyone a ballpark figure that they should have gotten their email or are about to get it.

I've been holding off getting too excited about this, because I knew I was near the back of the line...but, now that it may be days away...:clap::tup:

Yeah I am hoping for an email tomorrow. I was one of the first 30-40 trade-in contributors so I would think anytime now.

See, this is what I'm talking about.
All *US*/*110v*/*Non-International* IGG orders will be fulfilled...

But as per the IGG update today, we've got about 3 more weeks to wait.
:horse:

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate all the updates, especially the much more direct intl updates coming through IGG recently, but I think some of my frustrations at the wait are stemming from all the updates that refer to all EVO orders (either directly or implicitly) are really actually just updates on US (and I'm guessing canada?) orders.

/vent

On a more positive note,
Sounds like the firmware issues have been resolved, sending good vibes your way that it'll be the last hurdle the EVO has to jump.
