Don't have either vape listed, but bake with every scrap processed in an Arizer EQ.

Personally I wouldn't but I'm sure a lot of the butane based vape users here will tell you that all the butane is burnt off etc. Butane based vapes irritate the hell out of my throat, but the ones where you don't suck the flame over the herb directly don't bother me...
I form my opinions based on my own experience that the butane seems to be getting in there enough to irritate me when other vapes won't.

I wouldn't worry about eating butane-toasted abv one bit. There isn't sneaky unburnt gas hiding in there, lol. My abv has been part VG duff for years.
[edit] Shouldn't have even wrote the last bit since there isn't really much debate that cooking food over an open petroleum-based flame is safe.

Just because it boils at room temp doesn't mean it can't get caught in a medium like bud or anything.
It boils at room temp during BHO extractions too, but it has to be purged out of the BHO trapping it in place. It could very easily be in the bud.
The only way to know for sure would be to take some of said ABV and have it lab tested for residual butane. It is definitely POSSIBLE that there is butane in the ABV, but only a lab would be able to say for sure.

Not sure how blow a torch flame on the surface of something is the same as soaking something in liquid butane an expecting it to all evaporate off.
If you mean eating 4-5 creme brulees a day quickly, you're going to be lucky to live for decades... If you literally are speaking about breathing a custard-based desert into your lungs I'd say you be lucky to live for a few seconds.

I'm not claiming its bad, but people insist that there is no butane unburnt from these vapes. Yet when I use them I get like lumps and bumps in my mouth and it gets raw EVERY time I use one. Something that has never happened on a day I've not used one. So clearly to me anyway, some butane is not being ignited.
I'm just saying no one knows for SURE unless you lab test it. Its likely not going to ever harm you, but there are plenty of things I avoid even though I know I can "get away with it".
Its 100% at your own discretion. I simply meant I wouldn't gamble my life on the fact that its clean, nor would I do the same that its dirty. Its all speculation until someone uses some actual science for a definitive answer.

Obviously there's some users sensitive to either A) butane, or B) the extended draw times of hot air. I've been using solely flame based units for the past 6 months even using a Zippo with my VG, and have had no issue. I believe "personal" experiences shouldn't be pressed as universal side effects or negative interactions. Solvent safety and long term use of solvent based concentrates has yet to been seen. BEFORE making any edibles or what have you, you could water cure the ABV to be safe. I apologize for the rant but I hate seeing this butane vaporizer fear when it's been laid to rest by not only many members of this forum but also manufacturers as well.
To reiterate: if you're nervous, water cure the ABV before doing what you will with it.

Im not nervous about my butane or flame vapes at all, and i love every one i have. I was simply looking for different views and preferences. I have since ate it on a porketta sandwich, which definitely tasted like abv, but good, and i had no odd effects r anything. But every body is different, some might be sensitive to it, if there is even anything in it.
